Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.
Red Onions, Capers, Eggs, Sour Cream, Toasted Brioche
In Lemon Garlic Butter
Baby Spinach, Lemon, Grilled Broccolini, Crispy Capers, Ciabatta Croutons, Shaved Parmesan Reggiano
Pistache was most careful with COVID regulations, blocking tables and keeping people apart. Food and service were excellent.
Pistache - as always - was an amazing experience. From the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food, to the attention to detail - everything!! This is a "never go wrong" place in my opinion
Food is great and the service was excellent as well (Maks did so well). Social distancing was excellent as well! Will come back for sure
They have done a very thorough job with safety and the Covid. We never felt we were in any jeopardy whatsoever. The food is consistently excellent which is the main reason we go there. The onion soup is to die for!!!!
This was a first date n he picked the place n it was perfect from the start to the finish
Always a good meal. Service is spot on. Enjoy the ambiance and look forward to the next visit
I eat here often and always enjoy the meal, ambiance and service. They are set up very nicely for outdoor dining in light of the current environment.
Outstanding from beginning to end...Thank you for a delightful lunch,Katie
Great overall experience
Food was great; as always. You pay a little more, which is why we go for special occasions; but worth every dollar when it comes to quality of the food.
Looking forward to going again sometime down the road.
The best dining out experience we've had in the past year!
Always lovely place to go.Great food and atmosphere.
Authentic and Delicious. Try the Steak Au Poivre! Carefull social distancing practiced. Very safe ambiance. I took 2 neighbors for their first time at Pistache. They cannot wait to return. Outstanding salads and desserts too.
Excellent food and great service. We celebrated a birthday and had a very nice time. Drinks were great and the service during covid was thoughtful. Highly recommend going to dinner or lunch here.
Great food, excellent service
This place has great food and great service
We enjoyed the Rose Brunch on Saturday, with a variety of brunch dishes from which to choose and rose served from a large format bottle. The food is always wonderful at Pistache and the service is professional. We have enjoyed every visit to Pistache and look forward to many more.
The Bouillabaisse was outrageous.
Please do it again. We’ll be there’s!
Just excellent. Mussels were perfect as were the snails. Pepper steak was done to perfection.
Don’t hesitate go eat here
This has always been a very good place so anything less than four stars is mostly COVID-related, such as slow service because of a reduced staff. But I'll take slow service over no service any day. At least they are making the effort to open for their longtime customers. We had brunch; our eggs benny were good but we went for the $30 carafe of mimosas (about six glasses) instead of the $10 by the glass and the champagne was practically undetectable. Next time we'll order the carafe and a separate glass of bubbly to beef it up, and we'll still come out ahead.
Nice location great staff. Steak Tartare is a must.
The Cauliflower Risotto is yummy. Great outside seating
Celebrated Fathers Day
I ordered their New York sirloin - not recommended. It had no flavor, was watery and tasted like it had just come out of the freezer. My wife wanted the veggie burger but was told that the grill was not working and therefore could not have it. Overpriced and lacking in quality. Will not be returning.
Great restaurant!!! Food quality and service were both excellent!!!
Fabulous, as always.
We sat on the covered porch for Sunday brunch. All three of us had good drinks and we enjoyed our meals very much. The only comment I would have is that the server let our waters sit empty for quite a long time between refills. Since it was so hot outside we noticed this issue particularly. Otherwise we had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning for dinner sometime soon.
Food was very good, and the waiter very knowledgeable and friendly. We were distanced due to Covid19. The service was slow, but that might be appealing to some. They did run out of the special and we were a 7PM reservation, but maybe they didn't know what to expect with the Covid factor. Parking is horrible and they did not offer valet. Worth a try.
We have gone to Pistache for our anniversary dinner for the past 8 years and it seems to get better every year. This year we had the squash blossoms which were incredibly light and tasty. I followed with the Black grouper which was cooked perfectly and served with the cauliflower risotto, a wonderful dish. We'll be back next year for sure and many days between now and then.
One of my favorite places to eat. Great food/service and love the ambiance.
Good protective procedures. Ate outdoors. Wonderful food and service and ambiance that we associate with Pistache!
Great food and service always. As a nurse I can say 🙌🏽 to the outstanding COVID precautions.
Everything was fine and we were very surprised when you offered us free desert and wine because of our anniversary, only your staff took credit for somehow having found out about our anniversary. They did not tell us that our kinds had called in and paid for it. Not ok!
Pistache has been my favorite restaurant for a long time, I am so glad they re-opened
Food was just OK, not worth the prices.
Our party had:
- Grouper. Fish overcooked and dry/rubbery.
- Hudson Valley Duck Breast, asked for medium rare. Overcooked, tough to chew. Duck breast should be tender and this was not.
- Coq Au Vin, pretty tasty overall.
Worth looking elsewhere for better execution of dishes.
Would have been a 5 but seated down wind from a smoker. Was on patio so I guess restaurant can't stop the smoking if it's outside.
Absolutely incredible brunch! We started with some delicious cocktails, followed by the escargot (get extra bread for dipping!) and the soup de jour. Our entree's were even more incredible. The beef tartar was every bit of perfection with the yolk! I had the croque madame and it was what dreams are made of! My mouth is still watering. The service, ambiance, food, cocktails and price were all perfect. 5 stars!
Pistache never disappoints... ! ~ Not even during a pandemic !!! ~ Loving the extra space ~
Loved every moment of it! Excellent service, amazing food!!!
Our first dining experience post pandemic was splendid. Fabulous and professional service, beautiful outdoor set up, and spectacular food per usual. It felt like an elegant outdoor cafe. Personally enjoy the spread out-ness of tables - keeps noise level comfortable. Looking forward to days when we can see our servers face but I could see the smile in his eyes.
