Pizza & Prosecco at Cold Town House
Why settle for anything less than absolute devotion to pizza, prosecco and craft beer? You don’t need that sort of negativity in your life!
Cold Town House was born out of a desire to restore brewing traditions in the Grassmarket with an offering that is as varied and innovative as current trends inspire, without all the pomp and hipster lingo. Take a peek behind the scenes in our Pizza and Prosecco bar, where you can watch artisan Neapolitan pizzas come together, before being stone fired in our custom built oven. Floor to ceiling windows give you a front row seat to the Cold Town Beer brewing process and all of its sights, sounds and scents as you watch our master brewers honing their craft.

A great location, venue and atmosphere. Pizzas And live music were amazing.
The only fault was that the music was very loud, making it hard to talk during dinner.
Fantastic start to our trip to Edinburgh. We went here for lunch and enjoyed the pizzette and Prosecco experience. Excellent value for money . The food and Prosecco flights were delicious. The staff were very friendly & the service was excellent. Would definitely visit again during the day as it had a nice relaxed atmosphere and vibe to it.
We visited on a Tuesday afternoon for Prosecco and pizza. Good priced menu, cool views and friendly staff. Can imagine very busy at weekend and summer ! Would return!
The service was lacking here. We had booked for 4 by accident but actually needed a table for 5 which they were very good and quickly found a suitable table we could squeeze into. One of our party was late but no drinks order where taken while we waited. Once our final member arrived we still waited another 15-20 minutes until anyone came to the table. We even had to go to the bar and ask for someone to come and take our order, after which it still took 5-10 mins for anyone to come. In total from when we first sat down to when our order was taken it was around 40 minutes, we hadnt even been asked for a drink order either. After we ordered we were told one of the dishes was no longer available which is fine, we reordered but when the food arrived the people who had to reorder didn't get their food for about 15 mins or so after the other dishes. By the time they got their food some of us had already nearly finished. It seemed like none of the staff really cared about the long wait. As an ex-waitress I usually have a lot of patience for wait staff as I know how busy and hard it can be, but this service was just so poor. We felt like we had been ignored and once we had been noticed they still didn't care much about us.
Good food and really friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, suitable for couples and groups. felt young and modern but not in the least intimidating to an older generation.
Food was very good. Chef was great and the waitress was friendly and helpful. The prosecco was of course amazing.
Music was a bit too loud for easy conversation but apart from that excellent
The music was far too loud but everything else was super.
Amazing food, staff are very friendly and helpful really enjoyed our meal!
Splendid pre rugby lunch for 9. Pizza’s and hanging grills - both excellent. Great selection of beers too. Nipped up to the roof terrace for an aperitif in the Bubble - nice touch. Very relaxed service, which was perfect. Well done to CT for making the place such a pleasure to visit.
It was 70’s night with the soul kings fab night music was great nice vibe atmosphere was buzzing I love this venue
We were a table of 7 and all ordered pizzas. They only had space for 4/5 pizzas at a time so food came a bit staggered but there was only a few minutes between the second batch arriving and Webbereich warned so they sorted everything very well and the pizza was delicious and the waiter was a friendly (Australian?) guy.
