   Although I love it here and we always have excellent meals. On this occasion I didn’t enjoy my carbonara. It had way to much pepper in it. You could see it and the taste was very off putting. I did eat it but didn’t enjoy it this time. My friends pasta was a little to salty also.

   The food was good but the noise level, let the evening down. It was too loud to have a conversation with my family. We had two Birthday celebrations, but unfortunately we couldn’t talk because, it was too noisy.

   As always , the food , ambiance & service was excellent & sitting nearer the front of the restaurant definitely reduced background noise, which made for much easier conversation!

   Lovely food and great value for money. We had a great time overall but when first entering and telling them we had a booking, they told two children right in front of us to get off a table and then said that we were sitting there. They didn’t clean the table so there was chocolate all over the menu. This annoyed me and my partner so we asked to be moved which we were. We had a lovely time after this

   We had a great date night at Pizzeria Villaggio. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and friendly. We would definitely go back! Just a word of warning, the tasty bruschetta are absolutely massive so take that into account when ordering your starters!

    Great atmosphere though one very raucous table! Staff were friendly and always on hand. Service quick, but not too quick. I had Nonna's meatballs with spaghetti. It was delicious, good size portion too. Would recommend.

    This was my third visit in the last few months and the food was excellent again. The service was so bad I don’t think I will be going back for a while. The whole evening was spoiled by a waiter who was surly and even tried to take our coffee cups before we’d even drunk half. I presume the 10% added service charge was because we had the table for longer than the prescribed time but we were not told and the restaurant wasn’t even half full by then. Would not recommend even though the food is excellent. I hope the service charge goes to the chef!

    Food expensive for what it was (£15 for a few partially cooked pasta shells with a sauce and a few chunks of meat) Spent nearly £300 and had cheek to add a 10% service charge and tried to overcharge when I came to pay - overall not a good experience

    I had a great plate of pasta and a good selection of antipasto to to start. I've always enjoyed visiting this local restaurant but feel that since, reopening after lockdown they have really "uped their game". Which is why they are always busy.

    Busy & noisy with large birthday parties either side of us. Did not make for a relaxing experience, however the service was very good & the food helpings were generous. If you like a lively place to dine then this restaurant will suit you.

    Very tasty food and good service. The only down point is when we asked for demote drinks we were just given the cans which where left on the table. We know that we are paying an increase in price which is fine when the drink come in a glass with ice and a slice of lemon but when a can is just left on the table for you it reminds you how inflated the price is.

    A simply furnished restaurant which was clean very busy when we went. Our orders were taken and delivered promptly and the quality of the food was good I was somewhat surprised that although I had ordered spaghetti, there was not a desert spoon in site to assist my fork in gathering the pasta into manageable, mouth sized portions The service was pleasant and helpful, trying very hard to accommodate one of my party who is vegan. Bravo! What took the edge off the latter part of our visit was the arrival of four very loud gentleman, the volume of who’s conversation dominated our end of the restaurant and rendered our conversation inaudible. Not the restaurant’s fault, but relevant to this review. Having received the bill we opted to leave the noise near our table and pay at the till. One last big plus! B During the drive home, I received a call to say that we’d left a present at our table - an Easter Egg for my Daughter which was gratefully restored to the intended recipient. Bravo (again)!

    Such a fabulous place to eat. Lots of choice. The food was so good and authentic. There were four of us eating and we all had a different dish and everybody enjoyed theirs. Great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff 😀

    Fantastic local Italian restaurant with great tasting food, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely restaurant vibe. The pizza's are fantastic and any dish containing their family Italian suasage is outstanding.

    Booked online which asked if occasion, i said yes as was for my birthday. Turned up around 10min earlier, we were told great as only have table for just over an hour! Not advised this before hand. Then the woman who appeared manic told a male waiter this is table numer.??.....be nice to have used my name rather than saying I'm.tabke number ??. Then taken to a table where I was sat in darkness, sometime to take drink order....took longer to wait for drinks than the wait for food. Food was hot, tasted good. The staff appeared rushed off their feet, very busy! We felt rushed as told us needed to be gone by 8.15pm!! I had to ask for bill and disappointed service charge plus no mention about my birthday! So why ask online if for an occasion?! Sadly all seed very manic, rushed and if you are eating in a fast food establishment id get it but this was supposed to be an enjoyable experience to have food and drinks.
