Scallops were so salty I couldn’t eat them. That’s a lot of money down the drain.
My wife got the surf and turf for $55 which consisted of a 3oz lobster tail a 3 to 4 oz filet mignon and a tiny portion of mashed potatoes. Good thing she wasnt very hungry. I ordered the chicken pot pie which was $19. The pot pie was so bland that you could not distinguish if u were eating a piece of chicken or any of the veggies. Zero flavor even after adding salt pepper and some garlic powder. Waitress came once during the course of the meal to refill our drinks. I could only manage to eat 3 spoonfulls of the pot pie it was that terrible. When she came back at the end of dinner she looked at my dish and asked if there was anything wrong with it i said yes it has zero flavor. She laughed at me gave us the check and walked away. She didnt care apparently. We have eaten burgers here several time in the past with no issues. So after getting a bill of over $90 with a tip "and yes i still left a 15% tip" we left still hungry and ended up going to coasters bar in the casino and had some killer cheese steaks.
Since opening the restaurant has been poorly run. Undercooked food, missing salads and bad service reservations that get ignored. And it's not just me it's many of the people you talk to. Last Saturday early in the day I made a reservation for 7p at table 18. On arrival I'm told table 18 is occupied and I'm seated and have dinner at another table. This happens 8 out of 10 times. They just don't know how to manage reservations. To make matters worse, and I think this is more serious, I then get an email criticizing me for not showing up at the restaurant for my reservation. I say this is more serious because one of the employees there had to have maliciously reported me as a no show to open table. On another occasion again I had a reservation for table 18 and was just about to be seated when two casino employees sat down at the table. When I complained to the receptionist she said I can't refuse them they work for the casino upstairs I'll get fired The only reason I bother going to PJ Clarkes is you can use casino points to pay for food. If it wasn't for that I think the place would be closed.
Friendly great service!
The bar service and tender was excellent and recommended many dishes. The selections were excellent. the food service started out with a little mix up of who was tending our table, but it was fixed. The waitress was pleasant and recommended items. The food selection choice was excellent, the flavors and presentation was also excellent. Ratio of food was great. Beverages and selection was excellent. The hot rolls were good.
The prices are a tad high for the area and what was being offered. even for market price.
The meal was ok but the portion was too small for the price. I asked for cheese on my burger and the waitress brought a piece out on a plate instead of taking it back to the kitchen. The mixed drink was too strong While the side salads we ordered didn’t even cover the bottom of the bowl. Was let down overall for a. Birthday dinner. Menus y to ok small of print to read as well
Not worth it
We did not end up staying. We were there 15 minutes and nobody came to wait on us so we left. Very disappointed yet again. After a bad experience last May we decided to give them another try. Not sure we will go again & definitely will not recommend to our friends.
It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Took 45 minutes to receive our appetizers. I had the mushroom ravioli’s which were under cooked and had been dried out. Our main course came as I was in my second bite of my appetizer. My main course was over cooker and cold. My overall experience was not pleasant.
Kitchen messed up the order, so we waited 40mins for starters. Fish bones inside dish and stuck in throat.
I'm sorry but the Valentine's day menu was horrible. Was a waste of our 125. Sad that you grab fast food after you eat at a restaurant.
Food was poor .steak wss full of fat and grisly. And the desert we had was very gritty and was un edible but the service and place was good . And great environment . Just disappointed of food
Took my father here for a birthday dinner last weekend. The food was very good. We had the steamers to share and I had the scallops. They were fresh and delicious. The service was also very good! Will definitly go again.
Good service, servers and staff friendly. And we were able to bring our own wine and pay corkage.
Service was haphazard, about half the food was not hot. The prime rib the middle was somehow more done than the outside. The shrimp was bland though we did order not breaded. It was probably the worst shrimp we had had.
The onion stack was not good.
Portions were small.
The steaks were ok but not spectacular.
The bread was basically a sister Anne's frozen bread cooked.
All in all not really what I would expect for the price.
Ambiance is bad too. The sound is like being in a garage, echoing etc.
I went to dinner with my wife on Friday. We were running late, so I called and they held our reservation. When we got there the wait staff was very nice and quick. My wife and I both ordered the seafood special and it was great. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks.
Service was excellent, food was great, atmosphere was pleasant.
Limited menu items were quite good. Service was good. No complaints. Prices a little high!
I am not making this complaint in the hopes of obtaining a free meal or a refund. We have had 2 PJ's meals previous to New Year's Eve and absolutely loved the food; however, this meal left way too much to be desired.
My wife's baked potato was cold and nowhere near baked through (it was downright hard) and her spinach had a flavor very foreign to both our taste buds - we think it was too much nutmeg. Very thankfully, her prime rib was prepared to her liking. My Delmonico was very fatty and my asparagus extremely stemmy - could not eat it.
Our reservations were 5:00 - not during peak serving so we expected better. Of course we did not bother our waitress with our complaints - what would be the point. All I can say is we were very disappointed that our New Year's Eve celebration did not include a fine meal that we paid for.
Food and service was great! Exception was the extremely disappointing haystack onions. We have dined at 2 of your NYC restaurants and the haystacks were piled high with onion strings. The haystack served at this restaurant was a measly pile of crumbles. So disappointing!!!!
Cheese cake was fantastic but big! Be sure to share.
your portions of fries was enough to feed only a baby
the burger I had was very tasty
the diet pepsi was flat
the service was good
Cassie (sp?) Was the absolute sweetest. The food was INCREDIBLE. The decor and atmosphere were relaxing and well maintained. The beautiful tree added a special touch to our holiday getaway. The only "bad" part was there was sooo much good food we were STUFFED!! We had so great leftovers to take with us. We will be back for sure!
Had a very nice meal prior to the concert we attended there that same night. Very niceexperience althoughpretty noisy in the side room
Great food, outstanding service, lots of fun. We really enjoyed ourselves. thank you!
What great steaks. I had the strip and my husband had the rib eye. It was our anniversary and the waitress overheard us toasting and surprised us with a very big, very delicious cheesecake.
Decent food, service is good.
Although we don’t dine there that often we have never been disappointed when we do. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal there this past week. I think the new chef has made a positive Improvement throughout the food service in the 🎰. We have noticed a improvement in the VIP special buffets events and the country buffet.
We were a party of 6 and can be a bit overly critical of food quality and service! We had a mix of beef and seafood throughout our dinner. The food prep was good and service excellent. On the excellence side, the steak, salmon, fish & chips, crab cocktail and crab cakes were outstanding. On the more critical side, the prime rib was a bit dry and appeared to have been re-heated. I had 2 glasses of your Show Cabernet and thought it was excellent. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and will return again.
Everything went well and everyone was nice to us on celebrating our 47th anniversary
We'll be backl
Not worth the money we spent. The food was not very good and neither was the service.
Enjoyable meal but a limited menu for younger guests.
It was just ok. I can't say..wow...I'll go back there again.
My husband and I met my family for my birthday and had a wonderful time. From the bartender and waitress to the great food, it was a very nice evening.
Friendly and efficient staff. Our server was excellent. Food good.
Our first time here and totally impressed! The food was phenomenal, service was great, sat in bar area at high top was a little noisy but we didnt mind. It was a great nite and our server was superb ( wish I could remember his name) but tipped him well as he deserved it.
Part of the food was very good and part was not so good for the price. For example the french fries were served cold and soggy (I would recommend plating them just before serving). The prime rib was very good along with a hamburger. The lettuce wedge was very good. The chicken sandwich left something to be desired, but the crab cake was very good.
Final evaluation-- over priced for the quality.
Service was great! My husband really enjoyed the raw clam bar. Both of our dishes tasted wonderful, but they came out a little on the cool side. My husband didn’t say anything, but I asked for mine to be heated and they were kind enough to send out a fresh plate with hot hot food, which was perfect! Drinks were good also. Prices seemed a little higher, yet I would still recommend going!
Great place for dinner. Take a drive to Tioga Downs and just have dinner. Food is wonderful!
Food was really excellent, service great and dessert delicious
