PJ's Bar and Grill in Chelsea
It’s so sad to have to write a bad review of s place I used to frequent so often . The food was so bad !!! When we entered at at 9 pm on a Thursday night , the place was totally empty when it used to be buzzing just a year ago . I think they have changed the Chef and there is new management but they really need to up their game if they want to keep ppl coming back . I ordered a chicken Kiev which was so overfried to the point of being burnt , it was chewy and the filling had zero flavour !!! The crab cake as a starter lacked taste and was served with a tasteless avocado spread .. really disappointing . Won’t be going back anytime soon .
This was our second visit, the first having been for weekend brunch. We enjoyed the brunch far more, the food being much better. The food which we had for dinner lacked flavour. Will go back, but for brunch!
Excellent food, superb attentive service and air conditioning!
Bit disappointed with the overall experience. Restaurant less than half full at 9 pm on a Friday night. No atmosphere
We had the best service . Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious - great selection of options too
Excellent service and delicious brunch!
Excellent atmosphere, food, service, one of the places that I keep going to
Unfortunately I was incredibly disappointed by my first experience at PJs. I went for breakfast there on Saturday and ordered the full english. It consisted of cold hash browns and soggy scrambled eggs, with an awful presentation. My friend's meal came out 20 mins after mine as the initial order brought out was incorrect, so we ate separately. They forgot our drinks order entirely. There was are better locations to eat breakfast in the area at the same price.
The best cocktails. I am a regular for dinner/drinks. First time had brunch here- wonderful
Excellent service and great wine list. Very welcoming by staff and lovely decor
I had a great visit - we arrived for my post-graduation dinner and the staff treated us amazingly. I had a complimentary Prosecco given to me on arrival as a congratulations and the food came out swiftly, plus was delicious! We were very impressed by the amount of vegan and vegetarian options too (which were so tasty!) and the staff were so attentive at filling up our glasses etc. Great visit :)
It was very nice. Food good but when my sister asked for Parmesan on her risotto she was refused and not politely!! Thought the restaurant was more upmarket than that!!
Just a great place to have dinner !
Very friendly staff. Very convenient if you have children.
Tasty and delicious
one of the coolest place in London thats why I went back there. But the food and a services was better around 1 year ago.
Always nice to visit PJs. Lovely local restaurant with good food and ambience and excellent service.
Great service and food. Will definitely be back ! Couldn’t have been more accommodating even though they were busy. Well done all at PJ’s!
Our waiter was so efficient and smiley throughout. We will be back very soon.
We had a lovely Mother’s Sunday lunch at PJs last weekend. Warm welcome, cosy ambience, attentive service and some great food. The roast beef was particularly excellent and we look forward to returning.
The waiter did not speak English and the food was not as usual. My eggs were cold and my avocados tasted funny. Usually much better!
Lovely food, nice and hot and good portion sizes.
The surroundings were very relaxing and calming in the middle of the afternoon.
Awful food, awful service
Loved it. Wonderful waiter especially.
Ambiance was good, not as busy as I remember it being but still lovely. Delicious food and no hesitation to replace starter when it arrived covered in nuts for a nut allergic person.
Super tasty Brunch for 4. The portions were decent, the burger was very tasty but not quite worth £15, was looking for something super special at that price. Service was great and we really enjoyed our brunch.
We were for brunch, as they are famous on it, and while the food was good I cannot say that it was the best coffee I’ve ever had..moreover, I cannot understand how they serve industrial orange juice instead of a squeezed one.
The latter was very disappointed.
Great service and probably come back, but I’ll not get the orange juice unfortunately.
We paid £20 each for brunch with drinks (no wine).
Food was great, we were there on a Sunday evening so it wasn't very busy, they had a singer/guitarist on, so it noise levels were up a bit, but we were sat right next to him... everyone else seemed happy with. Very good overall though.
Great atmosphere for Sunday Brunch and best Eggs Benedict in town!
Have to say that PJ's was a most enjoyable experience and recommend that you try it for yourselves
Birthday celebration! Lovely experience
This was our first time at PJs - having passed by many times. The ambience is great - low lighting, white-linen tablecloths, cosy bar - and the food really as expected when ordering simple dishes such as steak and shepherds' pie. However, the service was lacking - amateur, with drinks taking a long time to come, the rib-eye produced overcooked and the detritus of dishes left on the table well after it was time to clear them. We regularly had to flag the waiter rather than sit comfortably knowing that he was looking after us and was on top of things. For the money we spent and given that this was a first-time visit we were rather disappointed and probably won't go again, especially with so many alternatives available nowadays. If the service had been good we would have been inclined to return.
Food getting worst and service getting even worst day by day due to amateur waitresses . For 70 pounds a stake one deserves more. Please guys look after your clients. It's the second time in 3 months I got a terrible service. It used t be better
One of my favourite places for brunch
Best waiter ever !!
It must be such hard work to keep the standard to this level year after year month after month . Really imaginative menu at the moment eg how the Onglet is served diced with diced sweet potato - delicious
What a pleasant surprise, finally found my neighbourhood restaurant
On this occasion, the dinner wasn't that great. We discovered that their Wagyu burger cannot be cooked less than medium, which is a travesty. Ended up ordering a steak, which tasted good but was extraordinarily gristly. About 1/3 of it had to be left on the plate. At £28 that's not a good thing. Fries were ok, bearnaise was competent but nothing stood out. Their side dishes would be decent but, were a touch too lukewarm for my taste and miniscule unlike their prices. Despite 50% seasonal discount on food, the dinner was acceptable. Had I paid the full price I'd be sorely disappointed.
Excellent service on new year’s eve, a la carte menu, a fabulous evening. Thank you!
