Service was average to poor. Friendly enough but nothing offered in terms of sauces and very basic service. Coffee was really bad, can’t imagine Ramsey being happy about that. Mushrooms and tomatoes very good. Scrambled egg was nice but def missing some ingredients that is so familiar with Ramsey’s eggs. Spinach was unseasoned and just awful, so disappointed. Halloumi was fine. It was okay for a average restaurant serving breakfast but for an over priced Ramsey restaurant it was incredibly disappointing. I think Ramsey needs to go back and see how standards have slipped so significantly.
Pre flight breakfast, lovely and lively staff ready to cheer you up, consistent and top quality food.
Amazing would fly back to terminal
5 just for the food and service
This is a good place to have a little bit of a "restaurant experience", however it is not great. The food is pricey for what they offer.
Dear DENISG Thank you for your comments. We take all feedback seriously and we will discuss your points with the team. We hope that you will revisit us in the future. Kind regards, Plane Food
Far to expensive for what was offered followed by email asking why we hadn't fulfilled our reservation so something amiss as we gave our name at reception desk
Fabulous food was good bare in mind it’s fast food but posh
we were looking forward to have a very nice meal before we took of to the US;
we had a flight from Brussels and arrived in terminal 3 to stay in transfer for Denver Co
We were not alowed to go to terminal 5 with our boardingpasses.
so we had no meal befor take of to Denver;
this was a very bad start of our trip to the US
Three of the four meals failed to be loaded onto the aircraft, therefore my 3 sons did not get their food. The meal that was loaded was awful.
Overall, nice experience
Great breakfast at T5, set the day up nicely
Had a reservation at 12. Took 40 minutes to get out food (the waitress said herself she was new and forgot To send the bill...). Fine, it happens. Then wait 20 minutes for coffee and desert and we never received the coffee. We stayed 2 HOURS for 1 appetizer (that we wanted as a main course and received first), 2 burgers, 1 seabass and desert. Not an apology, no discount even if we told the manager about the situation and the gratuity was added to our bill... Definitely do not recommend that place! And they put us as a no show in open table !
Always nice to stop at Plane Foot. Best place at terminal 5
good food. fast and tasty. well worth the money.
i would recommend it gladly.
Service was second to none as you come to expect from any Ramsay establishment. Food was good but was outshone by service. Noise and temperature was very good for terminal 5 which was unsurprisingly busy. Would use this place again.
I had undercooked pasta which was very disappointing, because I looked forward to eating at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.
Booked a table a few days before and asked for a seat by the window. They duly supplied! Arrived at 11:45 but the lunch menu wasn't on before 12:00. Waitress kept apologising but I was more than happy to just sit there watching the plans and having a beer. Chose the sausage and mash. At first when it arrived it didn't seem that much there (two sausages) but it was certainly filling and extremely tasteful. Great place to eat, out of the way a little, from the Heathrow hustle and bustle.
After a stressful evening and early morning drive I needed a hearty breakfast and speedy service to catch an early morning flight (630) at LHR. My expectations were entirely met, the food was great and the friendly and attentive service similar. The breakfast was cooked entirely to my liking.
Great breakfast. Quick service. Nice view of the airp
Booked a table at Plane Food as we were flying out of T5 Heathrow & fancied a nice breakfast & cocktail before we headed off to Texas. Arrived on time & seated quickly with a view over the runway as requested, albeit the table was in direct sunlight & nowhere to get any shade. Ordered eggs benedict & a full English, 2 cocktails & coffee. The service was relatively quick on food, but a little slow on cocktails. The food was very underwhelming to be honest. I’ve had better breakfast in a little chef. Given the celebrity chef tag on this restaurant, one would expect high quality food.....it wasn’t! Probably better eating at the pub in the terminal. Total price was approx £65!! This is the 3rd Gordon Ramsay restaurant we’ve eaten in, and all of them have been disappointing. Wouldn’t eat here again.
Great place to eat at Heathrow Terminal 5; hostess made us feel very welcome as she gave our kids 2 small backpacks
Great service and great food, good choice and attention to detail.
Most likely the best food you're going to get at the airport, well, at least for those of us not privileged enough to be able to get into a lounge. A very good start to any holiday.
Average food & very over priced for what it was & serving staff seemed bland & uninterested.
Good service, great food at reasonable price. A handy drop in for a meal before flying
All good as per usual before flying off.
I had a reservation for T5 Plane Food ... and was seated at a table near the window (great) but the view was blocked by large beam and there were other spots to seat us with clear view. Skip a reservation and I suggest you pick where you want to sit before being seated. This place is Not crowded. Server did as other reviewers wrote- did not mention the additional cost for bread. Charges were added per other reviews as well - cover and service. Food was good.
Quality of food not great for price
Three items out of stock
Will not return
Efficient, professional and friendly. Great service and choice of food which was delicious.
I arrived at 11.15 but said I would wait until 12 to order as I wanted the lunch menu, not the breakfast one. I put my order in at 11,45, and then waited. They managed to lose my order but eventually my crab maki arrived (at 12.15, and my flight boarded at 12.30), and it was tiny but delicious. As agreed my main of wild mushroom pasta arrived soon after, but I could barely eat a quarter of it because it was so over salted. I had to dash for my plane, so having foregone my breakfast to enjoy my lunch, I ended up boarding the plane having eaten virtually nothing and still really hungry. The waitress was wonderful, very apologetic and did what she could but eventually had to take the food off my bill.
Great food and ambiance!
Efficient tasty express lunch whilst awaitinng a flight at Terminal 5. Pricy but good quality and prompt service. Like the changed look.
Excellent since a major refit in 2017, and better ambience than before
Really enjoyable start to a big weekend.
Very good overall. First waitress not particularly friendly but one who then took over was very good. Quite expensive
Great place to enjoy some premium breakfast or meal before a flight. Maybe a little pricey but it is Gordan Ramsay.
I would recommend it. Nice place to eat and chill out. Staff is very friendly and customer service is good.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this at Terminal 5 - Heathrow...about time too.
Children eat free. (Off the Kids menu). Very basic, but good. We were not disappointed with the food, but being Gordon Ramsey, my expectations were set high. I had the lamb dish which was nice, but nothing special. My husband had the Mushroom Pasta which was tasty but a little dry. The curry that my son had said it was the best he had ever had - the sauce was exquisite. The burger eaten by my burger aficionados - didn't leave a crumb on the plate. We washed this down with some great cocktails.
I had a meal there before leaving Heathrow airport and the staff are helpful even though it's quite busy that day. Food is good!
Overpriced middle of the road food.
