Poor service. Table not cleared (i.e. fries still left even though we were eating dessert). Extremely slow service. Had to ask several times to get water. We have visited this restaurant many times over the years. This was our second visit this month. We have decided that the service has declined substantially and the prices are now unjustified. We won’t be visiting again which is a shame as this restaurant has great views.

It’s the best food at any airport anywhere. Plus, there are tables for charging your ovule etc while you eat and work and chat. Modern travel needs met.

Disappointed that breakfast service lasts till 12 noon. I don’t necessarily want breakfast at 11am. Brunch service with burgers etc would be more appropriate from 10.30 onwards. I actually fancied a curry but couldn’t have it.

Customers who end up the victim of Heathrow's new [and apparently, secret] policy on passengers checking in should be aware that you might have to cancel a planned meal, as we did. We always have breakfast or brunch here, and it's always great. We timed our arrival so we could do the 'bag drop' and get through security - but no, this was now not possible for another hour. Our boarding passes, when we did get them, clearly stated that we had been right - we should have been able to check in an hour before. Plane Food may well be losing custom because of this, so staff may also suffer.

Welcomed by very friendly host and sat at a table which had view of the runway for our son. Order eggs Benedict and eggs royale. These were delicious but most of the eggs weren’t runny inside so only disappointment. For airport food, prices are always more but we enjoyed it and worth the money.

Very surprised at the quality of food. Had very low expectations (it is in an airport Terminal) but what they did they did well. Waiters as bored as all the staff are at Heathrow though managers lively.

Expensive but good quality, food did not arrive at the same time. Wings had gone cold by the time the fries had arrived. Slow service as waitress assigned to our table spent a lot of time chatting about holidays to customers.

It's a tradition for us to have breakfast or brunch here, before a flight; it's the start of any trip for us. Eggs Benedict - always excellent, and the coffee is great. Service is always welcoming and efficient.

The food here is amazing, they have amazing breakfast and everytime I fly out I stop by. The only issue here is the service. It's so so bad it takes ages to even get an order through so if you don't have the time, don't try.

Love the convenience of this restaurant. A little luxury in an otherwise busy and stressful place. However 15% service plus £1.50 cover charge per head all adds up to too much. The staff were very friendly during our visit in August 2022 and got my 5 stars. Several menu choices were unavailable and it seemed like although the restaurant was only half full, we were all crammed into one half. The staff did their best to make up for this.

We had high expectations for this restaurant based on the fact that it’s owned by chef Gordon Ramsey & based on our past experiences at his restaurants worldwide. Upon our arrival at Plane Food, the hostess failed to greet us instead she proceeded to inform us that not all of the food on the menu was available. We still chose to sit but quickly regretted our decision. The waiter had poor customer service skills & was not pleasant at all. We ordered the fish & chips & the burger, both were bland & underwhelming. Even though the restaurants itself is a beautiful room, If we are ever in Heathrow again, we will not eat at plane food again!

From walking in the place is great, great service, Food, staff perfect amount of being attentive. Food was so quick, and the coffee in the best I’ve had in London. The General manager and the host lady was brill. Nothing was too much trouble

Its a restaurant in an airport so I think 4 stars is as good as its going to get. I pre-booked which was great, walked straight past the queue. My colleagues squeezed into the lounge while we had great food and very quick table service.

I don't know what's happening with this place; we've used it for every flight we've taken from this terminal, for quite a few years. It's gone from superb to mediocre. There were so few staff! My eggs Benedict had clearly been sitting around in the kitchen for a while, but there's no time to send food back, of course. It took an absurdly long time to get our bill. I suspect someone is cutting corners - not the fault of the staff who ARE there; they do their best.

Booked in advance, and arrived 10 mins ahead of our reservation to find a long queue. The chap at the front desk asked us to stand to one side and said he would check whether our table was ready, 15 minutes later we were still stood waiting with no update. Eventually another member of staff asked why we were stood there, and then immediately guided us in offering an apology for her colleague. Food was lovely, small portions but excellent quality and well worth the visit.

Frozen fries at a chef owned restaurant. Mushy peas was crunchy. Restaurant was barely busy and still no one came to our table until 20 minutes after complaining and staring at the staff. No gravy and no curry sauce with the fish and chips. Super expensive for pub food that wasn’t even good. Save your money .. total disappointment. Cold frozen chips was the worst. After complaining the lady said it’s fresh and she will take to the chef and the nothing. And the glasses were filthy too.
