Upscale Vegan places are hard to find. This place is a gem. The food was amazing. Our waitress Sara was great.

We really wanted to like this place, but it wasn't happening. The backyard is possibly one of the nicest outdoor dining spots in LA and the service was top notch. Unfortunately, the food left us wanting. The hummus was good, but we'd have preferred the grilled flatbread with it instead of the crackers (didn't realize until it arrived). The polenta tasted good, but was just sort of a bowl of mush. The pasta with sweet potato sauce was surprisingly sweet and also kinda mushy. A+ for the ambiance and service. Notsomuch on the food.

The only thing nice I could say was the free toast at the beginning of the dinner.. Food was not what I would expect for a tasting menu on a special occasion. Some food was not seasoned enough. We kept seeing people come and go due to hostess not letting guests know there was only tasting menu that day only, which was distracting. Hostess who wore red that day smelled of alcohol which was not professional at all. We waited 20-30 minimum for the next course, sitting with empty plates in front of us. our dessert took the longest which the we noticed our server had realized but didn't apologize for it being late. On special occasion dinner that should of been amazing, we left feeling very unhappy. To top it off we were charged 20% gratuity even though it didn't state on the menu it would automatically be done. I absolutely tip 20% if the service was up to par but it wasn't and I didn't like being charged like that when 1. it was never stated on the menu or told before hand , but 2.Most importantly, the service was not good at all and we had to look for our server or even ask when the next course would come. It was definitely NOT like the first time we went last year. Extremely disappointing, especially on a special occasion and I no longer recommend this place and will not be going back. Such a shame...

The food was PHENOMENAL. Valentine’s Day tasting menu did not disappoint. The patio was full of string lights and was super romantic. Servers got a little confused and brought us 2 dishes meant for another table. We got the wine pairing but the pacing was off and our wine and food was sometimes staggered. But minor complaints.... this place overall delivered an EXCEPTIONAL experience and UNFORGETTABLE food.

Valentines dinner. They told us we had an hour and 20 mins to eat before vacating the table. It's not like we were late for our reservation. In order to hasten us out, they overlapped courses — I was still eating my main course when they brought the cheese plate. They brought us the wrong food on multiple occasions. They brought our champagne and cocktails at the same time and only after the first course had arrived. The food is okay.

This is an incredible vegan restaurant that we highly recommend. Normally we would give it a 5 star rating on all accounts, but we were sat in the wine room for V day. We did not want to make a fuss since they were so busy, but next time when we make reservations we will make sure they don't seat us there. The wine room just needs a little tender loving care to create the same level of impressive atmosphere as the garden and the inside seating. The wine room would also be a great place for a larger group that needs or wants private interaction or the opportunity to get more raucous. There is no music in the wine room, it feels isolated, and there are boxes just stacked in the corner. Because of the type of table, I would not sit less than 6 people in the wine room, because you loose the intimacy. Still love this place and will continue to frequent for amazing vegan food.

It was Valentines Day, with a special set menu. Some of the dishes worked (a very nice salad, for instance), but too many didn't (like gnocchi in a too-sweet tomato sauce). The wine pairing selections were mostly dropped at the table with no description whatsoever. Service was pleasant but felt too rushed. All in all, not very impressive.

Food needed to be properly seasoned and executed better, plus prices should be lower for vegetables. Service and food timing was extremely off.
