Great atmosphere created by designer and layout. First class service. But the food was dull. Gumbo needs to reveal its ingredients. This was worn out sludge. If I'd opted for the bar menu I suspect I would have been better fed - the po'boys look great, as does the fried chicken. No blackened red fish. Music was intrusive and closer to pub Sinatra than Dr John. Everybody had a good time though. And the prices are more than fair. But this is no flag bearer for a cajun revolution. Get a new chef please or watch a few tv appearances of the late Paul Prudhomme. Or even Emeril Bagasse.
