Top quality beautifully presented food. Great service and knowledge of food. I love this place
Excellent dinner as always with really attentive service.
Amazing, authentic and delicious Spanish food. Great service and nice ambience. Would highly recommend.
The quality of ingredients was excellent. We shared the ribeye.
All staff welcoming and friendly although our waitress did struggle a little bit with our order.
The setting is beautiful, we sat outside, the heaters were just right.
Lastly, it has lovely relaxing atmosphere where nothing is rushed.
We will be back.
Three ladies - all had the mussels which were delicious. The chips were the best ever and the sourdough bread scrumptious. Very nice drinks too, both the alcoholic and non alcoholic kind. A very nice experience all round. Thank you
Wonderful first experience. Excellent food. The mussels were outstanding. Great service and helpful with the wine selection. Only watch out if you are taking your teenagers or young adults they ask for id even if they are with their parents. Which is unusual. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely the best restaurant in the area.
Another excellent dinner and birthday celebration at Pluma. Thank you
A real find. Good food, freshly cooked - you can see it come out from the open kitchen - pleasant service and a well designed attractive space.
After a lovely welcome as we arrived, a lunchtime table outside was perfect in the autumn sunshine. Chilled amontillado an ideal accompaniment to the signature bellota iberico dish with tomato salad and whipped goats cheese plus croquettes. One of us has an allergy to chillies and Seth was great at ensuring that our choice of dishes was suitable. He is passionate about food and his knowledge of each dish was superb. He has a lovely manner and is a real asset to Pluma. The surprise birthday lemon meringue plate was a very kind gesture!
We had a fabulous lunch here. The food is great and the service very attentive. If I lived closer I would be back again soon!
Fabulous as always. Food delicious and great service. Lovely ambience feels like being on holiday outside.
Great addition to Amersham restaurant scene. Delicious tapas in stylish setting. Love it.
We had a lovely meal with great service and will definitely be back!
3rd Visit , superb food and excellent service . From the moment you step through the door , you are greeted with a warm welcome .
Attentive , discreet service . We dibed al fresco Great menu . Interesting menu . Delicious food & wine
The Tapas put us right in the middle of a Spanish Tapas bar, the service put them right in the middle of the best restaurants out there (really attentive, nice, patient (we were there with 3 small kids)), and the decor and location was just lovely on top of it all. A bit out of our way (we're from Essex), but we'll be back.
Next time we'll stick to the Tapas, though. While the mains were very good as well, we think the Tapas are what made it a culinary experience (lots and lots of sharing plates) and so special, the mains didn't add to that part of the experience. The Pluma signature pork main dish was amazing, but we think it should be eaten with the Tapas (it's cut in strips so can be easily shared).
(desserts were amazing...kids loved the churros, and the grown ups loved the spanish cheesecake)
Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, food superb, relaxed but professional ambience. Definitely be visiting again soon.
Highly recommend. The food and service was was amazing.
We were looking forward to our first visit, following great reviews and recommendations from others that had already been.
Food was a little disappointing, the starters were quite standard tapas, but the bread was delicious. The signature dish of Iberian pork was very fatty and smothered in honey, so very sweet. Everything else was slightly over salted. The house whiter wine was very good and a great price.
Overall nice restaurant, we just expected more!
Fantastic service. The crystal bread and the signature pork were the highlights.
Great lunch at Pluma in Amershan. Great Spanish Tapas and great Spanish dishes. We loved the Iberian Pork, the Mussels, the Cod loin and the tempura jackfruit. The churros for dessert were amazing 👏
The food and service was outstanding! The atmosphere and decor was lovely too! Will definitely be going back ASAP
Best restaurant for miles around. Every dish brilliantly executed - the pluma (pork) and the ajo Blanco are especially notable....one very very minor criticism - it's a nice wine list but would be good to have more wines by the glass
Oh dear, was so looking forward to what looked like a genuine Northern Spain Menu, with some traditional dishes not always seen in the UK. But wow, such poor quality ingredients and very average cooking skills. The Lamb and the Ox cheek were absolutely tasteless even with being very heavily salted, These dishes should have been full of flavour, but their Jus's were bland and dried to jelly like texture very quickly. For the prices would have expected Josper cooking which would have given some flavour to the meats, but no very poor. I would say price level is double what it should be, even the prawns appeared frozen, given that crunchy poor quality texture. Wine was fair priced, sorry Pluma but cant see too many people returning here with all the quality cooking locally
I had wanted to try Pluma for a while. All the ingredients were there for a good experience (food, design, music) but the finished product didn’t deliver as much as we were expecting. Service was hit & miss (though very charming), portions were good & food overall ok but it all felt a tad formulaic to hit the right Spanish notes (piped loud Spotify Spanish playlist didn’t help!)). Having recently returned from Spain perhaps we’d been spoilt and although Pluma wants to be upmarket (especially with the prices) it needs to sing more - & not just with the Gypsy Kings!
Excellent quality and service.
Food was delicious (one constructive not was the garlic prawns could have had a bit more garlic flavour - they tasted fairly plain).
Amazing olives, croquettes and the churros and cheesecake were the best I've ever had anywhere.
Lovely decor, ambience etc. Probably my new favorite place to eat.
Fabulous lunch celebrating A levels. Fantastic food snd service. Loved the decor and atmosphere.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was great apart from booking experience.
