The Hamachi special was a very generous portion and so fresh and clean tasting, the octopus was perfectly tender and well seasoned, cocktails just inspired!
My Wife and I were excited to dine at Presscotts for the first time. Our server, Jacylan was excellent!
Unfortunately our dinner was unacceptable! We both ordered the Rib Chop and it was served raw!? We had to return the Chops. Expect better from a Chef for a $30 meal!
You won’t be disappointed! Food is outstanding. Make a reservation early.
The crispy artichoke and ribchop were amazing!!! Service was excellent. I think I have a new favorite restaurant!
The staff was outstanding from the hostess, bar tender, and the waitress and bus staff top notch! Especially Quinn!
Appetizers, I recommend the brussell sprouts and artichokes.
Both the lamb and steak were excellent.
Best meal I've ever eaten in WNY
Our server, Julie, was an absolute professional. She had a great personality, was super efficient & made delicious recommendations from cocktails to dessert. Our dinner was exceptional. The rib chop was unbelievably delicious and the artichoke small plate was perfect. A+
To be completely honest everything tasted “okay”. I’m confused as to how this place is rated so highly. The food was nothing to rave home about except the branzino. I’d eat that branzino everyday. Everything else was eh. The food was served lukewarm; nothing arrived hot. The cocktail I had was delicious. The atmosphere was a step up from red lobster with regards to decor. Our waitress was super friendly and nice but wasn’t really around nor was the place all that busy. We left still hungry and we ate A LOT but again nothing to rave home about. Maybe that Chocolate mouse dessert which was heavenly.
But I realized why everything tasted blah- I’ve eaten at Hotel Curtis when they first launched which is where the chef from here apparently worked at before. Hence the same octopus dish I had at the Curtis was on this menu and that was the only thing that was good at the Curtis. If you’re in north Tonawanda I suppose go for the ambience and view ? But trust me there are far better restaurants to try before you should commit to Prescott.
Best restaurant in Buffalo. Food is phenomenal. Friendly knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere.
Food was very good but portions were skimpy. Noise level was way too high, had to actually shout to communicate at my table. The wine was excellent and the waiter was well versed in both food and wine menus. Overall I would say my experience was good but the noise reminded me of a neighborhood gin mill.
Excellent. Food and service were great
As per usual, Prescott’s was divine. Roo, Marcus, and every one who serves your table are consistently top notch. Always a pleasurable experience. Veal carpaccio and foie gras apps are pure decadence. Both should be experienced. And don’t forget the gruyere popovers! They’re absolutely on our permanent and very regular rotation of local restaurants. Get there. You won’t be disappointed! In fact, you’ll be ecstatic we have this WNY gem. 💎
Outside dining area very nice. Special was delicious. Service was excellent.
Excellent food and service. If you're looking for a quiet restaurant, this is not it.
Beautiful location, amazing meal, friendly staff. We will definitely be back!
Food took a very long time to come to us but it was very yummy!
If you are looking for green salads or vegetable sides, not on the menu.
Great food and great service, highly recommended.
Outstanding food and service. Highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere
Food was outstanding! Service was excellent and atmosphere was fun! I highly recommend!
Everything was delicious especially the crispy artichokes and the pistachio cake we had for dessert!! The service by Lisa was wonderful and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Way too loud!
The menu was limited but had something for everyone. The food was, hands down, the absolute best we have had in a long time in the Buffalo area. Each dinner was AMAZING as were the small plates/appetizers.... and the desserts, oh my gosh, way beyond our expectations!!
The best part of the night, our server, Rick. Attentive, patient, answered all of our questions. He made the night perfect. We will definitely be going back again very soon.
Food was great but portions are too large and inside rooms very noisy
This is the second time we have been to Prescott’s and they did not disappoint. The service was quick and efficient, the staff were all nice with smiles and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Prescott’s to anyone and everyone I know.
The food and service here is just phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in the WNY area hands down. Now that they have redone their outside patio it is just an absolutely gorgeous outside venue as well.
Food was fantastic. Portions are generous. Service was great. My only issue was that there are no window coverings in the new are. As the sun goes down it is hot and the sun gets in your eyes. The noise level is also high. There are no soft surfaces to absorb the sound.
We will be back again.
The absolute best me in a long time!
Great food and specialty drinks. Pork chop and Brussel sprouts are the best. However, oysters need to be served on ice and you should stock some decaf coffee.
Oh my God… we ordered half the menu, and everything was delicious!
The service was impeccable! The attentiveness of our server Marcus, was on point. The food…. I have not one criticism. It was outstanding!!
The octopus appetizer was so unbelievably delicious and bursting with flavor that we ordered a second one. The beef tartare was equally as delicious. The chicken sausage and polenta entree did
not disappoint and the grilled branzino was spectacular. This was our 4th time dining here and has fast become our favorite restaurant.
Always excellent there. Service is amazing! Our waiter last night was awesome. The Food is always exceptional. You never leave disappointed. I can’t wait to go back.
Food is like fireworks of flavor! I can't stop thinking about what I ate. Service is wonderful.
Fantastic food, service by Rick outstanding. Noise level super high however.
The very loud atmosphere made pleasant conversation impossible. We thought the food and service were superb but the noise level reduced our experience from what could have been a 5 to a 2....please do something about the acoustics. If it was intended to get us out of there as soon as possible, it did that! For good unless something changes in the loudness department!
Arrived and were seated at a table with a nice canal side view. Ordered popovers and Brussels sprouts. Both cold. Server YELLED at us “chef says we serve them right out of the fryer and if these weren’t okay with you, then don’t order them again because it will come out just the same.” Second attempt at popovers wasn’t much of an improvement. Server seemed irritated. Ordered some drinks. Ordered the steak (my wife) and pasta (myself). Steak was ordered medium. It was cold. Sauce was ice cold. The “butter” over the steak didn’t even melt - if that tells you anything. Mashed potatoes cold, as well. Pasta? So hot I couldn’t eat it. We decided to just shut up and eat, as the server again seemed irritated. He asked how it was…we said “fine.” He said “only fine?” We told him it was cold - again. He rolled his eyes and walked away. No clue where he was going or what he was doing. Figured he was going to get a a manager. Nope. He didn’t come back for about 10 minutes. I didn’t want to eat my food when my wife wasn’t going to eat her food. So I sat. Server finally returned, took our plates, and came back with them in to-go containers. What. The. Actual. F**k. No apology. No manager. We didn’t eat and left hungry. $150 meal that we didn’t even eat. No offer to comp any of the plates. My wife put her credit card in the folder and started to cry. I got up and asked another server if there was a manager with whom I could speak. Another server came over (not a manager) to ask what the problem was. For real? I relayed everything. He just looked at me. I looked at him. Not a word was spoken. Not an apology. Not a word. After about 60 seconds of awkwardness, he began to speak. I just put my hand up to let him know we were all done. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD. We will tell everyone we know to avoid this place. Many people we have encountered recommended this place. This was more than “just having an off night.” Ridiculous. Still left 20% tip. 🙄
Great food and excellent service
A little bit noisy
Superb cuisine. Diverse and extensive wine list. Fine dining well served.
Such amazing and unusual food served; it alone is enough reason to eat at PP. Price makes it special-occasion-only for our budget, but don't let that stop you from trying it. Like all restaurants right now, there was a service hiccup or two due to short-staffing (per our wait person) but truly minor in the big scheme of things; overall the wait staff here is outstanding and sets a very high bar.
Sat at the bar and enjoyed small plates and a few drinks with a friend. Small plate portions were very generous. All of the food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Was great to see the place full on a Tuesday night no less. My only negative would be what I would consider a very small pour on an $11 glass of wine. Otherwise I loved the atmosphere and vibe and will most definitely return. Beautiful space inside and patio seating is lovely as well. This place is busy so I would suggest making reservations in advance.
