Wonderful place for a special dinner. More menu choices would be helpful.
My companion and I enjoyed dinner on the patio and everything was exceptional. The salmon was cooked exactly as requested and the scallops were perfect. Rebecca, our server, was attentive without being obtrusive. Chelsea and Lauren provided an added touch to make the occasion even
The sounds level on the patio enabled quiet, enjoyable conversation.
We had a wonderful experience and will be back!
Inventive menu focusing on seafood. Very tasty but a little pricey for the small portions
Have been several times since their opening.
ALWAYS recommend this luciousness.
Menu is always intriguing. . . . Watching the bartenders prepare drinks - which change regularly- is interesting . . . Staff is friendly, efficient, & knowlegeable of all the items offered.
Our friends told us to to give PP a try so we did. This place is a real gem! Great outdoor seating with a view of the canal, food was amazing, owner is charming, service was perfect and the prices are very reasonable!
Get there now and try the outdoor seating before the weather turns, you won’t be disappointed ... guaranteed !
Just excellent. Delicious and innovative without being precious.
Loved the ambience. Of course a perfect summer night overlooking the canal didn’t hurt. Wonderful presentation and quality of food. Service very attentive even though they had a full house. We will be back!
3rd time here and it never disappoints. Our server was attentive, but not overbearing. The lovely owner came by twice and chatted with us and to me, that says nothing but good things about a restaurant! We ordered the charcuterie board which was good - I would've preferred some cheese rather than the pork pate but that is just my opinion... we had the baby gem lettuce which was delicious. So fresh~. The green beans were yummy too~ just the right crispiness in a delicious yogurt based sauce. The heirloom tomatoes with the mozzarella mousse- yum! The patio is fabulous and it's pretty on the inside too. I'll be back!
Loved the food. Wish we ordered a bit more, left a little hungry :(
We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. I chose small plates and my companion had the scallops. It was wonderful. Our server Julie was great too
One of my favorite restaurants!
Despite an almost empty dining room, I was denied seating at a table with a reservation until my two companions arrived. “Restaurant policy” I was told by the very young hostess. No worries, I had a drink at the bar. The Spritzer was delicious and refreshing; reminded me of being in Naples. Once we were seated, I realized how cold it was in the restaurant proper. Glad I brought a sweater. The menu is diverse and interesting. At our server’s recommendation, I ordered the scallops. I also had the grilled avocado salad with crab. The salad was good, but I didn’t care for the accompanying avocado mousse, it didn’t blend with the rest of the dish. The scallops were very good, although the sauce on the plate was too heavy in my humble opinion. One friend ordered the salmon and really liked it. The other ordered the beef tartare and noted it was more filler than beef. We enjoyed the chocolate and the pistachio desserts. Our server was generally very good, but we did sit with empty dinner plates for quite awhile. The patio was full on a weekday. Overall a nice dinner, just not sure I’d go back.
Enjoyable, however too loud for conversations
This wonderful open air Summer place is a fun & delicious adventure!
Food was creative and nicely presented.Server was professional and attentive.Cocktails were pricey.Extra dry martini had way too much vermouth.
We ate inside.Cement floors, extremely noisy.Could even hear chairs scrape the floor.High noise level prevented appreciation of the meal. Unfortunately, due to this we most likely won’t return.
Booked reservation through open table, notes outside dining if available. Arrived early for 8:45 reservation and asked to sit on patio. Was told by hostess they have an inside table for us, as patio is first come first serve and the wait was one hour. The only party seemingly waiting was a party of 2 and we were a party of three. We asked if really the wait was going to be an hour, and she said yes, at least, so we said we would take the inside table. As we were walking past the patio we noticed an empty table for four, empty table for two and an open high top table in the back, seating of ten. So I asked the hostess why we couldn’t sit at the open table for four in the patio. I was told it is reserved for a party that called in for the wait list. Confused, I asked if you have a wait list then why wasn’t I placed on it when my open table reservation requested outside? She said, it doesn’t work that way, you have to call in. Our waiter, after overhearing the frustrated conversation, secured us the patio table for four, saying the party that called in was enroute and that by the time they arrived another table would be available. So he moved us to the patio. The hostess was rude and seemed inexperienced as she was unable not only to determine a real wait time, but grasp the easy concept that dealing with the customer in front of her is more important than the phantom call in customer. Needless to say within ten minutes of when we first arrived their were two open tables with no one waiting and after one hour, (the wait time the hostess stared) from the time we arrived the patio was virtually empty. We appreciated the waiters intuitiveness to make it right, but this was quickly diminished when the MANAGER came to our table completely contradicting and trying to defend the hostesses poor judgement. Unfortunately for the owners of this restaurant, this most definitely costs them customers. Their hostess is essentially turning people away!
Way to loud couldn’t even have a conversation and it wasn’t even that crowded . Just bad acoustics. Food was ok.
Always a good time and great meal at Prescott Provisions. We’ll be back.
This is our second dinner here and it was excellent. My husband had the swordfish special and said it was one of the best meals he’s ever had. Our server, Rick, is exceptional- attentive, knowledgeable and I am grateful for his concern for my allergies. He actually remembered me (and my allergies!) from our first visit! All four of our meals were served hot and prepared as ordered. We first had drinks at the bar and I need to say that the bartender was also attentive. We will definitely return.
Best service we've had in a long time! Our server, Julie, was fabulous. We were greeted by everyone as we arrived and as we were leaving. Food was outstanding. Perfect weather night to sit on the patio. Menu had just enough choices to make it hard to choose, but just the right amount so that it wasn't overwhelming. We will return again soon!
Love this place. Everything was great! We will be back!
Wonderful! We love this restaurant. the food is interesting and so well presented and the wait staff are fabulous. I particularly love the charred avocado with crab, and I also had the fried cauliflower with a lovely chili aoli. Great olive cake with pistachios and brandied? cherries for dessert. Perfect!
Booked a reservation online with request for outdoor seating. When we arrived hostess would not seat us at a small table set for 4 because we were only 2 people. I found her to be very rude in her explanation and this policy to be poor customer service. If the table had been a large group size I would understand but it was a small table with 4 settings crammed on it. The food, bartender and our server was excellent.
Outdoor seating I requested on opentable is not allowed to be reserved per the hostess. Burger that was ordered medium came rare barely warm in the middle. The burger was then taken back to the grill and was presented on anew roll but was now burnt. Waiter removed burger plate off our tab with no questions.
Cauliflower and wood stove pizza was acceptable. Draft beer overpriced. We may return for lunch but not again for dinner. Location and waiter service are great but very loud inside hard to hold a conversation at a table for four.
the Waitstaff were not friendly, nearly condescending when asked for a steak knife (which they don’t have, so she proceeded to “teach” me how to use a serrated butter knife) it was very embarrassing. The ragu was more like an Alfredo, so not great either for what we were expecting. We’ve been there prior just for a drink at the bar, and the atmosphere and cocktails were good. I just definitely will not return for dinner- rude staff is the worst turn off
Great service good food nice patio
Met the owners. Very nice people.
From start to finish..phenomenal!! We will return.
Our server was awesome! The food was so good for all of us and just the combination of sauces and ingredients made the dish. We were very comfortable there and we’ll definitely be back.
Loved everything from the cocktails to the decor. It was fabulous! The food was thoughtful and delicious.
Food was delicious...presentation lovely. Would have like some bread with dinner! Also very noisy! And we felt rushed...trying to get the next table in!!!
We went on a Tuesday around five and sat out on the patio. The noise level was low so I could enjoy my company. The server was great and we enjoyed his recommendations. I chose the scallop dish which was delicious. The scallops were a good size and cooked perfectly. There is a nice view of the river and you can watch the boats go by. We can't wait to go again!
Food was very good, service was great. We opted to sit inside because it was very hot and humid outside. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn’t air-conditioned. It was as hot inside as out, the view is beautiful outside. Next time we will request to sit outside.
Always great food and service. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed the view from the patio. It was a hot night but we were comfortable outside. The menu offers a variety of options. Small plates were fun to share. They offer ingredients that one doesn’t often see on a menu, such as , deviled eggs with salmon roe.
Perfect evening sitting out on your lovely patio, sipping mojitos and sampling delicious plates- cauliflower, heirloom tomatoes, Brussels sprouts and a mushroom pizza. All so tasty and our chocolate dessert was divine too. See you again soon!
The food was very good. I had a bone in pork chop and pork belly. It was served over lentils in a BBQ style sauce. It was ver spicey, but i like spice. The menu doesnt mention the spice level. My wife had the monkfish which was very good. The popovers are good, but not the best ive had. The charred avacado with King crab was delicious. Probably my favorite item. Like most middle to upper scale restaurants, drinks and wine were over priced. All and all, a good meal and i would go back.
Fantastic food!! Great ambiance, especially when sitting outside looking at the water. Clean and nicely done inside
