The service was very slow even for a gin tonic
Quite nice location.
Nice enough settings and menu, though limited was okay. Nothing special to encourage a return trip.
We liked the restaurant when we first entered, relaxed and friendly, good ambiance. The restaurant is small and the menu is quite brief but having checked that online before we went, was fine. Sadly the main courses were poor, risotto was undercooked with hard rice and the steaks we ordered ( meat was fine) came with nothing else apart from 6 peas! The manager apologized and the food was fixed but not good to send food from the kitchen like that.
Little hard to find but what a find. The service was impeccable and the food different and excellent. I had the fish with cucumber with cavier and it was excellent.
We had dinner here during our recent visit and found the food to be excellent. The service was slow and the staff told us they had not expected so many people that evening, but they spent time clearing tables while we tried to get someone's attention so management of time could be improved. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. They helped us address some dietary restrictions that was really helpful. The night we were there we were surrounded by tourists. We like to eat in places frequented by locals so that was a bit disappointing, but it could have been a coincidence.
Great staff! Good service and great food. Answered our menu questions quickly and suggested great things! Thanks Lucca and all the other team members!!
Very helpful staff, excellent dishes, nice choices for wine as well.
Hochwertiges Essen und professioneller Service. Gesunde und kreative Mahlzeiten. Stylische Einrichtung sowie gute Musik.
It was the most exciting, fun, positive energy fuelled with good energy and amazing food. Service and staff were so lovely and friendly. We had the best night! Joep and Rasharkin made our evening with their positive and energetic service. The food is outstanding, we loved every minute at the Pressroom!
This is a very nice restaurant in a great location in central Amsterdam. The food is excellent, and the service was exceptionally good. A very goood experience. I'd definitely recommend it.
Very good casual restaurant in a city which does not have a ton of great restaurants. Nice low key ambience, very helpful staff, good location and nice menu mix.
Really nice place with warm friendly staff. Great selection of cocktails and nice food to boot. Above average price wise, but worth it
The restaurant is amazing: from the open-plan kitchen that allows costumers to see the cheff at work, to the vibrant decor that somehow manages to be lively, humorous, quiet and cozy. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions generous but not overwhelming. And the service was spectacular: efficent and friendly without being intrusive. I think this restaurant is a most when in Amsterdam.
The food was fabulous as everything was made with fresh ingredients! The food does come verrrry slow. Almost 45 min in between courses (I did a 3 course meal). The menu didn't specify what was appetizer vs main. My husband ordered a soup thinking it was an app but turns out it must've been a main coz it was 2 big bowls in quantity! I don't mind it coz I love soup :)
I highly recommend this restaurant but would advise that you ask about portion to make sure you get what you expect.
