Always pitch perfect! Prévost is the best of the best. My wife and I go every month, and we have never had a bad meal. We love it and highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys excellent food. It is a true gem in Peterborough.

3 course set lunch menu. A delight from the start with perfect sourdough bread, silky smooth artichoke soup, excellent pheasant main and to finish the most delicious posset desert with a very cool presentation

Thank you for a super evening. We were celebrating our
Twin sons exam results and had a fantastic meal with super service. Can't wait until the next time. Unique and creative. Thank you from all of our family.

Prévost, tucked away in a hidden courtyard, close to the city centre but unobtrusively located, is an understated, elegant thrill.

We indulged in the 9-course tasting menu but rather than add the associated wine flight, selected two thoroughly satisfying wines from the limited but comprehensive house list - a red and a white which, supplemented by a glass of dessert wine, provided the icing on the cake of a lovely night.

Each course from the menu was perfectly cooked, smartly presented and inventive. Gorgeous as the 'main' course of hogget was, the real treat was the intense flavour and life of the vegetables, sauces and dressings - lifting what might have seemed mundane in description to another level in the mouth.

never disappointed when we visit Prevost, the food is always the show piece and the tastes are always superb. The new reduced lunch menu is as good as the other food and such a bargin!

Imaginative cuisine with fine flavours. Attentive staff. We had an opportunity to meet the chefs, who visited our table. We were made to feel welcome. Overall a very pleasant experience.

After hearing about Lee Clarke's new restaurant it was an absolute must visit for me and my wife and our first experience did not disappoint. Three stunning courses of unique flavours that achieve a taste experience that, by our opinion, can not be met by any other restaurant in Peterborough. The restaurant itself is stylish in an understated way and the staff are excellent, offering advice and even surprised my wife with a "happy birthday" message with her dessert.

What a lovely restaurant with amazing food. My husband and I went for my birthday. Nothing disappointed us from the moment we stepped into the restaurant.

We had a drink in the bar area before we went to our table. We chose the 5 course tasting menu and it was really really lovely.

Spoke to Lee Clarke at the end of the evening at the bar, what a lovely genuine man who is very passionate about his restaurant, food and customers who appreciate his food, which we did and we will definitely be back.

I am not sure when people say "Peterborough doesn't need a restaurant like this" because we are a city and we are a couple who appreciate fine dining on special occasions.

Well done Lee, Theresa and everyone else who made our evening (my birthday) a really nice experience.

By all means try the restaurant, as i had heard good reports. Something different for the area which is always good. We had the 5 course option. The food, whilst presentation was excellent, lacked the wow factor, which i expect when choosing a tasting menu & what i have eaten when dining at similar restaurants around the country. Fair plays for trying something different for the area, as looking at other reviews, my table are in the minority.

Another thoroughly enjoyed visit to Prevost, thanks so much to the staff who made our evening very special and we highly recommend the flight of wine to accompany your meal, you would not regret it even though you may suffer with some jet lag afterwards :-)

Spent a year deciding to and having gone wished I had gone earlier. A place to have a dining experience of flavours and textures . Snacks on photographs. Hosts were very informative. Not quick but a place to relax and enjoy the moments. We will certainly be returning - soon !

Hands down best restaurant in Cambridgeshire! Been to Prévost 3 or 4 other times, so it is possible I'm biased, but I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better dining experience! The menu revolves, so I won't recommend anything in particular, but never had a bad course here.

What a deal - don't go anywhere else on Thursdays!
Once again - just fabulous for and with a gorgeous bottle of wine complimentary for two why stay at home.
Lee is a great attribute to the food scene in the Peterborough area and if the main courses were not enough his starting snacks were superb. Black pudding rolls in puff pastry were special - pity we cannot buy them separately.

Surely a star is imminent - well done to all the supporting staff too.

We were made to feel very welcome by the informed and attentive staff. The head chef makes sure he spends time with each table of diners. Very well sourced local food and interesting flavour combinations, some more successful than others. The style of dining chairs wasn't to my taste or comfort but otherwise an excellent evening.

Food was fantastic. The service was also great although it would have been good to have been told that the lunch menu came with a glass of wine. Only found this out on the website after we had ordered drinks from the drinks menu, which cost extra. But overall, had a great time. Would love to visit again.

Prevost is remarkable for the dedication and creativity that goes into its hand-crafted food, prepared and served by the chef/patron himself, ably assisted by a staff of friendly youngsters. Don't be put off by the fact that set meals make up the menu, they are scaleable, multi-course, delicate, adventurous and exciting. The wine list is very reasonable and the open kitchen a delight to watch at work. The only downside is that it the premises are so tucked away it's easy to miss them - keep looking, Prevost is well worth seeking out...
