Very good lunch. The menu has changed since our last visit. Heritage tomatoes with burrata now on a flat bread instead as a Brushcetta which we preferred. Spoke to the server who said to just ask if we wanted that next time. Excellent customer service. We'll definitely be returning.

Had a wonderful lunch with a friend who had never been before. She loved it!! We both had flatbread, one with halloumi and the other with smoked duck and blue cheese, accompanied by a Greek salad and a glass of wine each.. All excellent!

Very good service and a quiet and relaxing ambience. Food and drink arrived promptly The food was tasty. We asked for leftovers to be bagged up to take away which was done happily. We ate on a Thursday lunchtime and the dining area was fairly quiet, maybe due to the Piece Hall being busier than usual. Highly recommended if you want to try somewhere different.

We rolled out into the night feeling blissed out, almost groggy after a taste explosion of fantastic charcuterie, cheese and wine. All at a reasonable price and in very atmospheric surroundings. The only regret is that we’ve lived here for a year and have never been before!

Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. It was very quiet considering we visited on a Friday night. We plan to be back regularly. Downstairs space within the retail area was lovely and a nice area for an after dinner drink.

This place is a treasure as it is a bit different. We had the fixed price menu which is available on some weeknights. They offer a variety of starters - greek salad, flatbread, tapenade, hummus, olives etc. and the main course is a selection of cooked meat and cheese (or you can have just cheese) with sourdough bread, pickles, olives, crackers etc. The food is so delicious and well served. With a glass of excellent wine, the whole meal was a great experience. It was good to taste cheeses we wouldn't see in the supermarket. It made a nice change from the usual restaurant/pub fare. The decor and ambience is smart, modern and relaxing too. We will definitely be returning.

Second visit to this lovely place. I’m Lacto intolerant and all the sourdough toasties had cheese. I chatted with the chefs and they made me a ham, beef tomato and pesto toastie with Greek olives. Lovely relaxing place. Friends loved the cheese platter and toasties. Smiley staff. We will be back 💕

First time I have been to Pride and Provedence, it was wonderful, staff were attentive, food excellent but not much on the menu if you are a vegan. However, I’m not and the food is delicious.

Perfect place for a pre theatre drink and sumptuous selection of cheeses, cold meats, delicious bread, crackers, dips. Sparkling clean glasses, deliciously selected wines and just lovely professional service. Mel runs this place like she is fronting a Michelin star restaurant. Her attention to detail, warmth and friendliness towards all of her customers old and new are why people keep returning. I just love this place, quality food and drink with a difference.

Loved the decor and the comfy chairs. The food was a great change from usual offerings. Just one slight misunderstanding over our wine order, but that didn't spoil our enjoyment. We visited at lunchtime and even though there weren't many people in it didn't spoil the ambience and vibe. Would definitely visit again when next in Halifax.

A return visit, we often call in here for lunch when in Halifax. This time we had family staying from Canada, who were really impressed with the quality of the charcuterie. The only let down was there were multiple unavailable items. But overall a quality restaurant with excellent friendly service
