This is an upscale restaurant with a great view of the Falls. The service was good and the food very good. However, we felt that we were seated differently since we were not guests of the hotel.
The food wasn't worth the money paid. This restaurant is a little pricey, I guess you pay for the great view.
Food is mediocre (we were a party of six and were not too impressed), service was fabulous and the view with fireworks was even better. Go for the view and perhaps cocktails.
Amazing food amazing views of the falls. We had reservations at 830. The down side is they advertise kids eat free and by 930 a group walked in with 5 smaller ones. The place is so nice they don't need to advertise to get the parents in
Both the food and falls view from this restaurant are great. The prime rib steak and lamb chop are delicious, the lobster seafood soup is also fantastic. Although this is a bit pricey, it really worth!
Great service And Great view of fireworks
Expectacular view , but the food should be better for this price ..
Our waiter was nice but overworked - he had too many tables to serve and in turn we seldom had our water glasses filled, waited 45 minutes for bread for the table, and a while for the bill as well. Our food was very good however and the fireworks through the large windows were a nice end to the night.
Absolutely incredible. The view was stunning. Our server, Christopher, was so polite and kind. He helped us with any questions we had about the menu and always made sure we were doing good. Food was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. Overall the best experience I’ve had in a long time.
Not worth the money.
On the 4th of July I brought my own Wine
They did not allow me to open it even after I requested a corkage fee !
There was nothing on their Web page or in the restaurant stating to not BYO Wine.
Open Table should also clarify it.
Excellent views of Niagara Falls. Food was excellent, service superb and great ambience. Gets were cooked as ordered, tender and succulent.
Great view! Great steak! Great service! I really enjoyed this restaurant, everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive. Would definitely go back.
The waiter was amazing then when the food arrived it was outstanding. The steak was much better than club 21 steakhouse in the casino. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Proposed to my fiancé here. The service was absolutely excellent. They were even in on my proposal. My server for dinner was the best. Very polite and professional, he was there every time you needed something . It was an amazing view with great food. We will definitely be returning.
You’re paying for the view, which is excellent.
Food was average and very expensive.
AC was not working. Parking was a nightmare.
Vidit our server was doing the very best he could. I think they were short staffed.
Again...the view was excellent.
Our experience was wonderful and Lindsey, our server, was fantastic! Gorgeous view and excellent cuisine.
Everything was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and the steaks served a la carte - were on point. The juiciest and tendered porterhouse steak I ever had. I will definitely be coming back again. The view of the Niagara Falls was spectacular while enjoying your dinner. And the fireworks were the perfect finish to an amazing night.
We picked this restaurant as an option under a Giftex card. We found it bit odd that one of the first things the waitress emphasized was our view and three of four of us were looking at the Casino sign and the roof of a building. Steaks were a disappointment, the Hanger steak was tough and chewy, and the marinade was overpowering. The Filet was okay but not as tasty as might have expected based on the price. No one was awed by their steak nor the size of the steaks brought to our table based on the menu description.
The appetizers were nice, but we found it unusual that our original place setting included the steak knife, and no other cutlery was offered.
The restaurant kindly took the price of the Hanger steak off our bill, but we never did get a an itemized list of our total cost (our fault for not insisting) and it was taking forever.
Great service and. Food . The view of the Niagara Falls was excellent and exhilarating.
Went to the Prime Steakhouse to celebrate our sons university graduation. The food was as to be expected, but the service was absolutely phenomenal. We are regulars when it comes to dining out and never have we had such amazing service as we did with Lindsay. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Aside from that her personality is definitely memorable. Top notch service!!!! Will definitely return and specifically request her as our server.
This was an amazing experience for me and my boyfriend on our date. The food was amazing and my favorite was the lobster chowder. The food was great and even for the price it was worth it and you got lots of food. Beautiful veiw of the falls aswell. So romantice.
It was a very warm evening and the AC in the restaurant was not working very well. This really impacted our dining experience in a negative way.
Furthermore, we wanted to pay with american dollars and the conversion rate that the hotel was using was significantly outdated compared to the "real time" percentage rates on an any number of currency apps on my phone. The restaurant manager on duty said that the conversion rates that the restaurant uses are only calculated from time to time and it would be better to pay by credit card. With immediate information at our fingertips, that was a very simple minded solution.
For these reasons, i probably would not dine again at this restaurant.
We went to the Crown Plaza for a two night stay and booked the restaurants through Open Table App. The Prime Steak House was a excellent restaurant with excellent food and a very nice waiter but the best part was scenic view of Niagara Falls on both the American and Canadian sides. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to have a great experience.
Expensive but worth the cost for very special occasions. The food and the view are wonderful.
The view is spectacular. We went to celebrate Father’s Day, and I just can say thank you all to make this celebration the best of the bests.
food was great, server Marisa was outstanding. outdoor dining made it the place to be. Will be back for sure
Superb service by attentive, personable, and knowledgeable staff. The view is breathtaking and there is clearly a lot of care that goes into ensuring the perfect steak. Excellent experience.
Delicious food (took scallops), spectacular view on the Falls (both Canadian and US), very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We stayed in Niagara Falls for 1 night at the crowne plaza. We received a $20 gift card to put towards dinner at prime steakhouse. So we figured why not?
I figured it would be a little pricey as we were in Niagara but OMG a steak at $72?? Did it have gold flakes in it? I ordered the salmon my fiance has steak and honestly it was just ok. Nothing special. The key steakhouse UP the road is farrr better and worth the money. All sides are a la carte and $12? For potatoes?
The service wasnt rhe best, waitress was tooo loud for a quiet restaurant.
The best thing about this place is the view. It over looks the falls. For the experience I'd say go have a drink and skip the meal. NOT worth it at ALL!
Great view of the falls! Food was only fair. Would not return.
Dinner was very enjoyable experience, greeting and service was great. Steak was a bit of a letdown at $72.00 but everything else was fantastic
My daughter graduated high school and wanted to come to Niagara. We came to this restaraunt because it was highly recommended online with wonderful reviews. We loved every part of this experience. The server, the food n the view...PERFECT!! Definitely will be bringing my husband back for a date night n I live in Missouri, USA.
Phenomenal experience. Loved the food, the cocktails, service, view and the lovely couple we met in the elevator. The chairs were very comfortable too, after more then 2 hours of sitting. Definitely the best dinner experience I have ever had.
food and service was exceptional. The view was fantastic as well.
Great food, great views, great service !!
We had the same server, Christine, as we had the last time we were at this restaurant. She was excellent again!! The menu had changed since the last we were there, increased cost, but still very high quality food and better value (in my opinion) than other similar style Steakhouses. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The frites and asparagus came in a generous portion and were delicious! Good selection of by the glass wines which is what we were looking for on this evening. Beautiful view of Niagara Falls atop the lovely Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Reserved a table for 5 through Open Table for my mother's 80th birthday. This was the first time booking through Open Table where anyone actually read my request for special seating. They greeted us when we came in and said they read the email and had a great table for us with a beautiful view.
My mother had lobster tail which was delicious. The rest of us had steaks. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We ordered 4 sides which were big enough to share. Least favorite side was the mac n' cheese which was a little dry as were the mashed potatoes. The broccoli and cauliflower were delicious.
Our waitress was Lindsey and she was spectacular. My mother is also vision impaired and Lindsey brought the baked potato toppings to the table, asked my my mom which ones she wanted and topped her potato for her. Lindsey is a gem. She was never far away and was very attentive. She made my mother's 80th birthday dinner very special. My mom says she will never forget her.
Dessert was the baked Alaska which was delicious. We would definitely go back again.
You are basically paying for the view. The food wasn’t anything special - other than quite expensive for what you get. There are far better steak places nearby - granted, none with that view. My daughter thought her steak was quite chewy, and my wife’s fillet mignon - wasn’t much better. My rib eye was fine - again, nothing special but at least it wasn’t chewy.
I had meant to take pictures of our food - but forgot. Only photo was of the fire works and view of falls.
It started off so nice; friendly staff, good service. Once we got our food we didn't see our waitress again until we were done our food for a while, she did not even come to see how it was going. She got occupied with a bigger table and I think forgot about us. Food was good, steaks are small.
