Prince of Wales
like eating at the Prince of Wales on a regular basis, however I think the vegetarian roast offering is poor - a pepper stuffed with ricotta and spinach doesn't really cut it - a nice nut roast or wellington would go better with the roast veg. The menu of items on a Sunday of items in understandably limited but as a vegetarian options were not great. The roast potatoes were also hit and miss on this occasion, my kids who love these didn't eat them - a little too hard inside and not crispy on the outside. Cauli cheese was great as was sticky toffee. We enjoyed our experience there as a family but they have done better in there past
Food was very nice. We had not had a Sunday Roast for ages so we were not looking for anything fancy. Just a place which gets its basics good. The team was very attentive and genuinely nice and caring. Noise was a bit much to hear each other as a quiet family but we have seen noisier places. Would definitely recommend and go back
Everything was great! Service was excellent and the restaurant accommodated our request to move the reservation to 9:00. Food was also excellent.
Going downhill sadly - food presentation in particular was very average. Real shame!
Really good food & service will definitely be going back
Had a really good evening here with a friend. The burgers were yummy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The PoW is generally a little more expensive than other pubs but the food is great!
We waited at our table for 25 minutes without a menu or any drinks! I had booked but we left after 30 mins without having even having had a drink. Never again !!! Sarah ( Putney )
