A bit off the beaten path in Hell’s Kitchen, but still a walking distance from Times Square on a nice day, this gem does not disappoint. We first tried Print in 2014 and are still going back. We go out of our way to enjoy the wonderful food, service and ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!
I thought decor in the restaurant was very nice. In addition, most of the food was very good. However, one person in our party ordered the pork chop which was slightly over cooked. We ordered two of each of the salads offered for the table. The kale salad was excellent, the other was severely over peppered. Lastly, on the dessert menu they offer something they refer to as tiramisu it would be better labeled a chocolate mousse parfait. In my opinion if it had no ladyfingers than it is not tiramisu. Overall though it was a nice experience.
Go place to go before theater
Surprised by the quality of the ingredients. The meals were stunning, as well as the service. Prices absolutely in range. Top quality!
Great recommendations from our waiter!!! Gnocchi was amazing!!!!!
Love this restaurant. This is our 3rd visit. Food is fresh and different. We finally got up to the Press Lounge and loved that too!
Absolutely and already have! Excellent food and service. A gem of a restaurant!
A variety of choices that were outstanding.
We shared all we ordered and enjoyed our experience
The issue of a place to park a car was the only negative.
After nine years, a great dinner as always. Friendly service, upscale setting, and fresh ingredients. Amazing fish and tender duck, with a creme brûlée encrusted cheesecake slice, balanced with a petite dollop of homemade ice cream. Perfect evening.
We had a wonderful post Marathon meal. Frankie in the dining room and Mark at the bar where fabulous as was the wine, small plates, entrees and desserts.
The gnocchi appetizer and the Kale salad were very good. My grouper entree was delicious and I loved the Andrew Rich Pinot Noir. Our waiter was very good, so over all, everything was excellent!
Lovely meal. The Tuscan Kale Salad was particularly good.
We had brunch with family and friends. The menu selection was great and what we ordered (avocado toast among other things) was excellent!!
I’ve been here several times and it never fails to impress. Everything, from menu selections to wine and spirits options to impeccable service —attentive, thoughtful, never obtrusive — is outstanding. This is my go-to restaurant when friends come in from out of town or when my wife and I want a really great meal not too far from the theater district after a matinee. Highly recommended!
The food was tasty, although not exceptional. Portions were small.
We had our anniversary dinner here and then went to the rooftop lounge to see the city. The staff was great. The food was well seasoned. The drinks were tastey. And all for a reasonable price for NYC standards. We couldn't really ask for much more. It was a really nice experience. We would definitely dine again and may come back with a larger group as they have a private room that seats about 12 people. Lovely spot!
Wait staff was awesome, great food and a great vibe!!
Waiter announcing specials was VERY difficult to understand. We were a party of 4 people, 2 drinking, 2 not drinking. I asked for 2 checks - drinkers seated across from other, non drinkers the same. I asked for a glass of Cabernet, waiter brought the bottle for Pinot Noir.
Non drinkers ordered baby lettuce salad and Chicory salad, a shard of Chicory is all that distinguished them. A bowl of tuna crudo forced the diner to go fishing for a hint of tuna. I had to ask for the check 4 times, I knew it would be wrong and it was. One of our soup appetizers and one glass of wine was on the other bill. My companions refused to let me reimburse them for the error. Waiter seemed more interested in chatting up a waitress than paying attention to us. As the bills finally arrived 2 people at the adjoining table sent back a dish that obviously did not meet expectations.
We wanted to start by having a drink at the rooftop bar- a private function made that impossible. I have tried to have drinks there 5 times, succeeded twice. Restaurant was very, very, very noisy. There is no room for mediocrity at these prices. We will not be back.
We arrived for a mid-week dinner at 6:30. The restaurant was about 80% empty but we couldn’t be seated (or they chose not to) because they didn’t have enough menus. Once we were seated the drink order was not taken for over 10 minutes. Out of the 6 cocktails, 2 finally arrived. Almost 10 minutes later the next three and then a fourth.
It was beastly hot and I asked our server to address. 45 minutes later I went to the hostess. So, for the last 15 minutes of our meal we were comfortable.
Food was very good - except for the octopus. More potatoes in the dish than octopus.
Overall I would not go back a third time.
Wonderful experience with friends visiting from out of town. The staff was very accommodating and the food was fantastic. Best gnocchi I ever ate. Thank you.
From the moment we entered, we were made to feel like honored guests for whom something special indeed was prepared. It’s so obvious that all ingredients are organic, locally sourced and prepared in house. Flavors were incredible as was our service. Parker House rolls like mom made, lobster with pasta so delicious, as was the sorbet trio. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and explained the menu items and portion sizes so we knew what to share. Shout out for Print! And ohhhhhh, that rooftop deck!! ♥️
Print has everything I like in a restaurant. The food is very good, the service is professional and courteous, the atmosphere and decor are chic and the noise level is low so I can hear the conversation and participate without needing to yell. I will return.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Print. The ambiance was enjoyable, the service was topnotch, and most importantly, the food and drinks were wonderful. Very highly recommended!
Farewell to NYC for this try.
This was our first time dining at Print. I chose it based on reviews and available reservation time. I ordered the lamb chops, and they were tender and deliciously prepared. We also ordered a “to share” side of zucchini/squash. It, too was very good. The appetizer cheese board was a wonderful way to begin our meal.
Would definitely return.
Before we sat in the dining room we went up to the roof bar - great view albeit $50 for 2 cocktails is steep. Back down to the restaurant service was very good. - Parker house rolls were incredible - other than that the food was good but not quite memorable
The food was delicious and exceptionally fresh. Seasoned to perfection. The service was top rate. Very attentive to our needs.
Nice Restaurant, food was good. Service was ok, but not great. We asked for the lamb to be well done, but it was not so had to send it back. The waiter was overly keen to tidy up before we had finished.
I arrived early and the restaurant was busy so was seated in lounge area. Atmosphere was wonderful, it was in a quieter alcove so I was able to relax and not be in middle of everything. Ordered the grilled prawns, they were well prepared and plated. Prawns dinner with Diet Coke came to 30.00 which is great for a nice restaurant in New York City. Waitress was pleasant and even though full restaurant, meal arrived to table quickly. Will definitely come here again.
2nd time eating at Print the food is very good and fresh. Great place to go in an area without many options, I would highly recommend eating there.
Incredible service and impeccable food. Absolutely worth a visit!
Amazing combination of fresh flavors. Lovely atmosphere and service. Cant wait to go back!
Amazing atmosphere, food and service would definitely recommend to anyone. You are well looked after by staff and they take time to explain the menu and how it works.
Dinner is fresh and creative but don’t
think you’re getting to the roof if you are wearing flip flops. They’d rather have people in sneakers ! Supposedly the owner has a thing against sandals in the summer or some strange foot fetish. Took a client wearing designer sandals and we were not allowed up to the roof deck for a cocktail, but were passed up for people wearing sneakers of every shape and kind. Class-less!!!!
Thank you very much for this experience. You were very welcoming.
The food was so fresh and delicious and the service was great. Perfect place to eat before catching a musical or anytime!
Food, wine, ambiance was great as per usual.
A bit pricy, but excellent food. The small plates might not appeal to everyone.
Great place with nice atmosphere. Came here with my friend, we had the hand made in-house pasta with eggplant, recommend! We also got the pan bread which basically melted in your mouth, delicious. The Mexican corn flavor was amazing, but wish it was off the cobb. The summer squash was ok, would not get again. The décor was nicely done and dimmer lighting created a relaxed vibe!
