Olvera recombines Mexico’s nearly infinite ingredients and flavors, demonstrating and extraordinary food culture’s potential in obsessive detail. - Private dining room - For parties from 9 to 14 people. - We charge 20% of gratuity at the end of the event. - We consider this space as the private room, the meal will be served as family style, that been said, the kitchen will choose the 4th and 6th courses according to you and your guest's preferences and dietary restrictions. Había querido ir a este restaurante desde hace años, quede fascinada con la experiencia. El menú degustación espectacular, el mole mi platillo favorito sin duda alguna. Me encantó la decoración del restaurante y el personal muy atento y servicial. Definitivamente lo mejor de México.

Los meseros te ofrecen de inicio agua y ni siquiera te comentan que tiene costo (Y está carísima, gastamos cerca de mil pesos solo en agua...) la comida es buena, pero definitivamente, la experiencia no vale la pena por el precio, es un lugar al que no volvería a ir.

The food and ambience were amazing but the service was very disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, our main server was very very kind, but it just didn’t seem like the staff cared. We could taste the love and the passion in the food and would have loved to feel the same passion from the staff.

We were a group of four and ordered a couple of bottles of wine, each time they topped off our glasses my husband would either get skipped or get the last couple drops of the bottle. Never an even pour for the table.

One round of food being delivered, the girl saw food on the table and purposely ignored it and put the fresh plate to the side of it without cleaning it up. You could tell she saw it and didn’t care, blew my mind!

I must admit we have been spoiled with a magical experience at NOMA a few years ago, and maybe we just expected that level of service. However, we did go to Quintonil the other day and they delivered not only amazing food but amazing service as well.

My point of writing this is not to talk bad about Pujol. If I was Chef Olvera pouring my heart and soul into this beautiful restaurant, I would hope my staff would do the same. Maybe we just got an off night.

I’m not the type to write a review. But I must say the experience at Pujol was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The synchronization between the servers when serving the plates for the table was impressive. Excellent customer service, excellent food.

This was a very disappointing meal. I do not know how it's listed and one of the Latin America's best restaurants, never mind one of the World's best.

Would not recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City. There are so many other much better places. This was a forgettable and subpar meal.

Service- Staff appears attentive (they take your plates away immediately, refill your water often, ask if you want drinks) but in a very impersonal way. One of our party really disliked the mole and the dessert and the plates were left mostly untouched -but staff never asked what was wrong, if it wasn't good, or had any reaction at all (they really don't care about you or your experience). Also told the host staff that I didn't have a good experience and again, did not care at all.

Drink- Camomile margarita was ok/good (had better cocktails in many places)

Food-
Snacks- Corn masa with pico de gallo and avocado sauce - good bite but nothing amazing
Baby corn with a spicy Mayo sauce- very good
**AMAZING tuna tartare tostada, kimchi, avocado,Chives
Meh sea bass ceviche- tortillas were not good and would have taken away from the taste even if they were good. Flavor not bold, corn pieces were not good.
Octopus stuffed pepper- some in our party thought it was good, others thought it was ok/meh
Mole- most of the party doesn't seem to have a taste for mole but we can appreciate the complex taste and cooking method.
Strawberry Dessert - was ok for some. Others only ate the berries (the sake sorbet was so alcoholic and the nicoatole was an weird consistency and not enjoyable.
The "thanks for joining us" dessert was good- churro with a frozen apple sauce and little vanilla ice cream

The food at Pujol was lovely as expected. Recommended wines were also perfect. Service was ok to start, and then frustratingly terrible towards the end of our meal. Our server made a point of mentioning that we should expect an extra special dessert to celebrate our engagement, but after the final savory course we waited for 30 minutes before anyone came to our table again. During that time we watched all of the other tables that sat at our seating time finish their last savory course after us and then be invited to the garden for dessert. When someone came to our table they wanted to take a coffee / tea order and did not mention anything about the long wait for dessert. We asked them to send someone and finally a dessert was dropped on our table, 1/2 hour after our prior course was cleared. The dessert was not as appealing as the others we saw going out, and there was no offer to enjoy it in the garden like the many other tables that finished their meals after us. We mentioned our disappointment and confusion about the special dessert we had initially been told to get excited about, and after a few minutes of the servers talking we were given a table in the garden to finish the disappointing frozen yogurt and berries. Nothing was taken off our bill and we were quickly ushered out afterwards. We then had to remind the staff that they had taken our jackets when we arrived, and we would like them back before leaving.

Die Atmosphäre war wie im Starbucks, eng gestuhlt und wir konnten dauernd 3 anderen Tischgesprächen beiwohnen. Das Essen war gut, ein Gang sogar sehr gut aber keinesfalls exzellent. Tolle typische mexikanische Zutaten und Geschmäcker. Insgesamt ist das Restaurant aber weit weg auch von nur einem Michelin Stern.
Den guten Pinot Noir wollte man ins Weissweinglas einschenken obwohl tolle Burgunder Gläser bereitstanden. Es gab manchmal sparkling water und dann still water, der Service war zwar nett und hat das Menü auswendig gelernt aber ohne tiefere Kenntnisse oder Passion. Erstaunlich wie es dieses Restaurant in die weltweit Top 10 geschafft hat😅.

It was our third visit and we brought two friends from the Netherlands this time. We all got sick after the visit (gastro-enteritis) and afterwards we read that it’s more common at Pujol… How is it possible that such a high ranked restaurant has such bad hygienic standards?

The pressure because of the two shifts is insane. For the dessert we were sent outside on the terrace while it was cold and raining. The heating there didn’t work.

Next to that poor service, poor English of the waiters, poor wine menu.

The whole experience was a bloody shame and it costed us two days in bed!

Definitely never again.

We were there for our anniversary dinner. Nothing special prepared by the restaurant so that was a little disappointing.
I booked it half month ago, which is pretty easy.
Two days prior, the restaurant texted us if there’s any food allergy. They for some reason did not get my response but luckily they were able to come up with something the night of.
Overall dinner experience was great! The tasting menu was very nice. Cocktails were great. We are coming back for sure.

La comida es buena pero no se justifica el precio exhorbitante que se paga por ella. Por el precio me esperaba al efecto WoW al momento de degustar los platos pero nunca lo tuve. En varios otros lugares se come la misma calidad a un precio mucho más económico. No lo recomiendo. Nada del otro mundo!
