Pulcinella - Glasgow
We enjoyed our night at Pulcinella but would have preferred to have been in the main part of the restaurant rather than by the window. Although we’d obviously booked they seemed to have a problem finding our booking (possibly explaining the poor table we had).
The three course lunch menu very good value.
A lovely, authentic Italian eatery. Delicious calzones and pizza. Large space and perfect for couple or group dining.
Love Pulchinella, it's a real go to place whenever I visit Glasgow - fantastic range of food and great atmosphere. Staff attentive and friendly. Have the fish stew, it's the best ever!!
Been here a few times in the past about a year ago and it was always good but the last experience was dreadful staff ok but food absolutely crap. Cheap ingredients cooked badly ☹️
Recommended to me to try by a family member. Met a few friends for lunch and was very impressed with the food and so were my guests. I look forward to visiting again and I would heartily recommend this to anyone
Just a fantastic evening! Carbonara was PERFECT! Exactly how we remember it when in Italy. The manager is fun and a great time was had by all!
A great place to have great good with great company... a big thanks to all the staff who made us feel welcome.
We were in Glasgow 3 days, and we went for lunch to Pulcinella every day. Excellent quality of food for Glasgow, outstanding service and menu that reflects Italian cuisine very well. Absolutely recommended.
Great food and wine at reasonable prices. Friendly and prompt service as well.
The food here is very good within its price bracket. Extremely good value and service very efficient.
This restaurant looked smaller from the outside however when you get in its spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious and very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant.
Chose this restaurant as it had been a firm favourite some 20 years ago. Whilst I accept we chose from the festive menu, the options were not great. The starter, paté, came as a 'dollop' on the plate with white pan bread, toasted, and a few lettuce leafs! Presentation was not great...a few slices of tomato could have been included. My main was lasagne. Looked and tasted like a reheated meal. My friend took the liver which was 'okay'. No dessert taken. Coffees..luke warm. Reordered as 'extra hot'....but much the same as first one.
Nice place. Decent food and service for the money. Not much of an atmosphere though considering it was Xmas lunch. No crackers on the table either.
When I arrived early for my table they were able to accommodate my seat however then the staff did not come near me. I think it may have been as I was sitting on my own and my sister had not yet arrived. After 20 minutes I called the waiter over to ask for a drink having expected to at least have been offered one. The food was okay, really good value for money.
Good tasty food, seemed to be home prepared and fresh. Also noticeable how large the portions were, so nobody went home hungry!
A lovely resturant with great ambience. Busy on Friday night, but not too noisy. Service was wonderful. Prompt, pleasant and not overwhelming. Food delightfully. Good sized portions, not overly big and off putting. Never felt rushed. Definatly a place to visit with friends
Highly recommend this Resturant for anybody eating in Glasgow
A great restaurant, well laid out. Bar prices are good for a restaurant. Service is quick and attentive, food is excellent and of great value. Pre-Theatre and Lunch menus are excellent with a good variety of choices including vegetarian options.
Excellent food and great service. Ambience very welcoming
Returned here with friends who hadn't been before. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Our friends were very impressed with the food and also the fact that we were able to swap between the lunch menu and A la Carts menu. They needed also impressed with the quality of the food and Indeed said that they would definitely return.
Our appetizer arrived before our drinks and we had to follow up for them. I held onto the wine list for when our meal arrived and after the food came we scarcely saw someone again. No one inquired about another beverage or how our food was. The food was good but sadly the service poor. I would not go back.
A hidden gem in my opinion. Hadn’t heard of it until going on the open table app. Traditional Italian food that was delicious and very good value for money. I thought the traditional Italian decor was a nice touch too. It was very quiet which is why it got a slightly lower star rating than 5 but other than that I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
Our party of 7 enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Staff were very accommodating to food allergy requests. Service was quick and food was delicious.
Starter was undercooked and main was over cooked. Waitress did not ask during the meal if everything was ok, only asked when clearing up. Food obviously was under a hot grill as never have eaten a crispy well done dry salmon before. Full meal was charged, can honestly say I’d never eat there again or recommend.
Fab food, fab wine, great service, thoroughly recommend
Lovely dining experience staff were very friendly and attentive.Food very good and good value for money.Would recommend this restaurant to friends and family .
Wonderful food... yummy!
Restaurant is basic! Not a night out. Food is good.
As always the staff could not have been more welcoming. I had a relaxed Mother’s Day lunch with my mum, so relaxed we had 2 bottles of wine and were not rushed at all. Thank you again for a great lunch.
good classic lasagne and reasonably priced decent wine.
My wife and I visited on Saturday evening. On entry we were welcomed at the door by a very nice member of staff. We were showed to our table and the waiter took the time to explain the menu to us. He even recommended a lovely bottle of wine to try with our meal. Although the restaurant was very busy at the time the service could not have been better. the food as always was superb and the ambience of the whole place made for a very enjoyable night out. I would highly recommend this lovely establishment and look forward to returning in the future.
This was our first visit to pulcinella and we will definitely be back . There was plenty choice on the menu , I’m quite a fussy eater but there were several options for me . The service was great and we found it very reasonably priced , can’t wait to visit again .
Excellent atmosphere, great menu choice, fantastic dishes & good beverages, lovely Italian staff, we could have been in Italy. Highly recommended and our favourite meal of the stay.
Great restaurant . Authentic cuisine
real value for money and friendly service

will defiantly be back
We go here quite a lot and always find the staff, service, food and drinks are reasonable and very pleasant.
Great, friendly service. Lovely evening as always
Friendly, great service & fantastic food at a very reasonable rate!
Great food in pleasant surroundings with friendly and helpful staff. What’s not to like?
