Italian
Everything we serve is homemade with organic and wholesome ingredients. In the kitchen and on your table, we only use olive oil from our Italian farm: Extra-virgin, pure, unfiltered, made from cold-pressed organic hand picked olives. Pasta & bread are made w/ flour from organic whole grains: farro, wheat and hemp. Organic focaccias can be whole wheat or naturally gluten free: buckwheat, millet and hemp flour. You can choose organic rice and gluten-free amaranth-quinoa fusilli w/ the any sauce on the menu. Greens, eggs and cheeses come from local organic markets and farms. Wild flounder, monkfish, cod and diver scallops come from Montauk, Long Island. Salmon is Sockeye or Coho from Alaska. All fish is always wild caught.

Good food and lovely ambiance. Sometimes a bit loud, but not too much. What I love about this place is that they keep their prices reasonable and the food quality high.

The appetizers were excellent and the main pasta dishes quite good...and the scallops were especially good. The front part of the restuarant is quite noisy but they have a back part that is quiet and better for conversation.

Devious. Service was really great and the food was devious. Also very healthy which is really nice.

Super food, organic and wholesome, with vegan options too. Like having a nutritious home cooked meal prepared for you. Lovely small restaurant with intimate relaxed feel. Courteous and professional staff. One improvement would be to have air-con during warm nights. Front of restaurant can be opened to the street but without air-con on humid nights it makes for a hot experience. Despite that, will return again and again.

This is the latest pasta I’ve ever tasted. Everything else is equally wonderful. And the people who run the place are all sweethearts!

Quality seems to have fallen off at this beloved EV spot. Despite its organic vegetarian thrust, dishes are short on green vegetables, and the wheat pasta with artichoke was a sad lump of bland starch. With all the prime tomatoes available in late August, caprese was also sub par. Don't expect to revisit anytime soon, sadly

Fantastic, authentic food and wine at a fair price, in a nice place. I thought these kind of restaurants did not exist anymore in Manhattan, especially when it comes to italian food.

The staff is very attentive and we love the atmosphere. Intimate, so we were able to talk quietly and hear each other! (Not a lot of glass, chrome, or tile to bounce sound around.) The kitchen uses fresh, organic ingredients and they have a magic touch with pasta -- not just your usual tomato sauce -- nice! We hope they will stay in the neighborhood -- one of our favorite places.

Not bad, just not really... good. The fresh mozzarella in the caprese was excellent, but the “heirloom” tomatoes were bland and poorly presented. The fish dishes (no meat is served) were ok, but nothing was really good enough in a neighborhood with so many good restaurants.

A perfect Italian dinner -- fresh ingredients, simple and delicous dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Don't miss the foccacia with stracchino! We sat in the garden patio which has lovely ambience.

What a charming place! The best focaccia that I have had this year, and wonderful pastas made expertly. A little place with an authentically Italian palate and technique.

Healthy Italian food offering home made whole wheat pasta and seafood. Had salad, entrees, dessert and wine at a reasonable price. Felt satisfied but not stuffed at the end of the meal. Perfectly portioned. Lovely Italian hostess. Trattoria vibe. Will make it a regular haunt, as we live close by. A real gem.

Attention to our needs was top notch and personal. We were seated in the back interior garden. Quiet, relaxing space for conversation. Table bread (homemade) with olive oil from Liguria. Shared appetizers (octopus with potatoes, green salad). Pasta with monkfish. All delicious. For dessert, homemade chocolate gelato in espresso. Best ever had. Enjoyable dining.

Our waitress could not have been better. She was very personable and advised us wisely for our choices. Ambiance very warm and inviting. Food had great flavor with a nice presentation.
Our waitress took the extra effort and followed me outside the restaurant to handover my glasses which I forgot.

The food was a big disappointment. We picked the place because of the vega/vegetarian lean - but it also had non-v options for some of our party. The food was fresh and generally healthy - but mostly tasteless and unimaginative. We ordered one of each of the 3 different salads offered - they all looked pretty much identical and tasted very similar. We had a few pastas - and they were unimpressive. Finally, we ordered the "fish of the day" (Cod with potatoes) - it turned out to be mostly potatoes with a tiny bit of shredded cod added... the ambiance was nice, the service friendly, but I would not go back...

Lovely Italian restaurant with great food and wine selection. My vegetarian date loved the menu options, the staffs' flexibility in catering for allergies and the yummy slice of cake with candle that was delivered with a round of 'happy birthday'. (Psst - the cake was on the house too!). We sat in the front table, enjoying the light breeze and the bustle of the street. We'll be back.

I really wanted to like this place. It's so cute and obviously well-intentioned. But despite the small menu they were out of several dishes and the one they recommended was very bland and a little overcooked. The service was haphazard with people seemingly taking orders, delivering food, clearing away dirty plates as they saw a need rather than because that was their job. Not sure I'd give it another chance.

We loved this restaurant. It is directly across the street from the Sheen Center, where we had tickets to see All Our Children (fantastic play) on Saturday evening. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The prices were very reasonable. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. We definitely will be back! And I am recommending the restaurant to everyone I know who is going to see the play. Thank you to the staff and to the fabulous bartender, who took really good care of us. They all took good care of us. A great restaurant!

Small place but cozy. Fireplace makes it so much more inviting; love the smell of wood burning. We had carcioffi salad, soup, tomato/avocado salad, salmon, potatoes; bread is very good, important to note that the grain is from italy (whole grain) And the pasta is made from the same. Happy about that. Now, I would like to see more menu options. I was wondering.. why don’t they make pizza...🤔🤔🤔 they make focaccia bread, (and everything is available Gf) so why not pizza.. So didn’t have dessert because I had too many potatoes😋

I’ve been to this place once before and loved it. I decided to bring my fiancé for Valentine’s Day finally because I’m always telling him about how it was so great the first time I went.

So we arrive and get seated. About 10min later the waiter drops our menus with out saying a word and ask the table behind us if they needed anything. I was appalled none the less. Anyways he makes his way back around with water and basically rushing us to order. I’m asking him questions about the food and he doesn’t seem to care at all. Mind you were soy free and vegan so I’m going to ask questions if it’s not a full vegan restaurant. We order and I specifically told him to have the salad and the other app out first.

30min late the salad comes out. I’m guessing the other app is coming also. Nope about 10min go by and I ask him if it was still coming he says yea everything is coming all together. Mind you I told him like twice not to do that bc the table is small and he’s just throwing everything everywhere.

At this point I’m just over it. The food wasn’t even that great the focaccia is what saved it. I was just so disappointed because I wanted my fiancé to have the same experience I had. A lady who I guess was the manger came over and we spoke. She was nice but I’m never going back. The waiter really rubbed me the wrong way. It was like he just didn’t want to serve us. His energy was just terrible.

Hopefully he can treat others equally.
