Really yummy food, freshly cooked as we ordered it. Good service, nice choice of food and drinks. Will definitely go back and would recommend to others!
We booked our table the night before as the place had the word 'DINER' in the title and after our night out I thought a diner would provide the appropriate level of sustenance required - and it did!
The brunch menu was excellent with a good Bottomless option available as well and all food ordered and consumed was excellent
I would recommend the Breakfast Burger and the Cali Benedict - and for those who LOVE their bacon; the thick bacon and eggs is a must
The waiter was absolutely lovely and the vegan food was incredible!
Served by a lovely member of staff, he seemed to really love his job. Lovely atmosphere, bringing my family back again in a few weeks.
Very nice place, good sized portions and great beer! Lovely attentive waitress, decent sounds and cool vibe inside. Toilet is a bit of a trek but otherwise I'd be very happy going here again.
Brilliant atmosphere, great food and service as well. Highly recommended
The food was ok but the price was high for the quantity and standard
Really good food in a lovely little diner, slow service but definitely worth the wait!
I think we were generally forgotten about. Took 50 minutes to order and by the time we were feeding the parking meters after 2 hours we still hadn’t had any food. Sweet corn fritters were lovely but mains were a combination of Stone cold, forgotten about, the wrong size, and cremated. Over all really really disappointing as it was a birthday brunch we had booked well in advance. No one in the restaurant could really explain why we had our experience. We watched tables arrive after us, being served, eating then leaving all whilst we waited for drinks! We did keep asking for updates but no one really cared. Very disappointing as it could have been so different. Our meal was discounted in the end by one member of staff who started as we were finishing - the others were just hiding. But even after the discount it felt wrong to pay so much for cold cremated food and awful service.
Won’t be returning or recommending.
Went for brunch with the girls. Great food & lovely decor.
Had the bottomless brunch. Excellent value. Had the big breakfast and it was really tasty. The bacon is really thick and crispy. Top ups on the Prosecco were frequent. Definitely worth doing as a birthday treat. Staff are really nice with attentive service
Really tasty! We had the wriggle deal which was amazing value, and the tacos were delicious. Very strong margaritas!
Nice food in a nice diner. The service was good too. Toilets are upstairs which was too difficult for my mum in law.
We all had a nice meal but when we tried to order from the Christmas menu, we were told it was pre order only. Really disappointing as this isn't stated anywhere on the website, and no one told.me when I made the booking two weeks earlier. So rather than ordering the Christmas menu, which we were all looking forward to, we ordered from the main menu. The food was nice which sort of made up for it!
Amazing service, great menu and cool vibe. Would definitely recommend!!
The service was good. The food was nice but it was served on cold plates so my food was cold very quickly. The burgers did not come with chips so it would be nice if we were asked. Or the menu made more clear. Overall it was a nice place.
3 of us sent our food back, strange textures and taste...
We went here specifically for the set Christmas menu but when we tried to order it we were told that it was for pre orders only. We ordered other stuff (£12 for a burger without any fries, bit pricey) and then when given the bill there was a flyer for the Christmas menu saying available to all without booking! Just felt like a wasted trip overall. Service average.
Great value for money! Fish tacos, burgers and sweet potatoe fries were just amazing!
Really enjoyed our meals, food was served hot and fresh and was very tasty
I really enjoyed my veggie breakfast, my partner didn’t really like his fried chicken with waffles as he thought it was a bit weird, he ate it tho! I really like this place and would recommend it, just make sensible choices and not eat chicken for breakfast!
Staff were attentive and polite. My son had chicken and I had the rib-eye. The Pinot Noir red wine was very nice. We booked very late but we had a choice of 2 tables and the ambience was good.
Great place. Great staff. Great fun and really good value
Amazing food, lovely staff, good atmosphere. Service was a bit slow due to only one waitress however it didn’t matter due to the enjoyable setting.
Brilliant bottomless brunch!
Best brunch in Bristol! The staff are super friendly and very generous with the bottomless offering, plus the food is incredible.
Great friendly and efficient staff .
Food was fantastic , lovely and hot and had great flavour .
We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday brunch / lunch time and happened to walk past Quay Street Diner. Not hugely hungry just yet, we booked a table for 2 at 1.30pm.
Getting there a little early, our table was ready in the busy restaurant so we sat down and ordered our drinks. Drinks (a pint and a tea) came out pretty quickly and our food order was taken.
We then waited. And waited. For 45 minutes. My partner went up to order another a drink (as no-one came to the table) and enquire about food.
Our 2nd round of drinks came 5 minutes later and the food 5 minutes after that.
55 minutes waiting for fish tacos and a Phillycheese Steak sub which were nice but not almost an hour wait nice.
The server apologised when our 2nd round if drinks were brought over and when we went to pay they were also apologetic.
I was looking forward to ordering a dessert (which sounded amazing) but didn't want to risk another massive wait. We left fairly quickly after finishing food.
Don’t book on line as when we got there they said they were full and we shouldn’t have been able to book on line.
Service is great but the food mediocre
I booked a table too small for our party. They switched us quickly to a booth that would work on a Friday night. My fish taco was delicious and at the end of the night they called a taxi for some of us. Friendly service and the food was better than I expected!
Excellent food, generous portions ,all freshly cooked. Authentic recipes.
Fabulous food and service. Third visit to this diner and each time I’ve never been disappointed. Already planning visit number four!
Prosecco brunch bought on wowcher for 4 of us. Paid extra for a fifth. Good service. Food, great value. We ordered an orange juice to have with our Prosecco (mimosa) but was told later we could have had it made up as one anyway which would have been good knowing beforehand but not the end of the world. Well cooked food, lush chips.
Went for the bottemless prossecco brunch and it was amazing. Great food and fab service. Defo be back & will recommend. Thank you x
Delicious food, great for veggie/vegans. Great service and nice cocktailslll
Excellent food - generous portions and very well cooked and presented. Quirky range of drinks. Give it a whirl!
Good atmosphere and pleasant staff. However, drinks and food took a very long time to arrive and when it did, most of the items on the breakfasts were over-cooked / burned.
Our table was booked for 9am however the front of house staff did not appear to be really ready for the day and it took a long time to have an order taken and any drinks to appear. There also seemed to be an issue with the meat delivery not arriving which affected our order slightly (no sausages for 1 dish). The food though was the redeeming feature which was excellent and plentiful.
On the door it states the hours of opening from 8am, this either needs correcting or adhering to.
Great menu, interesting options, food was lovely, good drinks menu and great prices! Also enjoyed the decor/interior/atmosphere, however next time we would request not to be sat right next to the door!
