    Food was nice but nothing outstanding for such a lovely restaurant. Fish is an odd shape, I think traditional fish would be better. Food needs to be a bit more exciting. Bill we received had other table's drinks included so luckily we had read it before paying

    Wee visit for dinner pre concert. We had a 2 course set menu. Absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault any part of it. Service, staff.. spot on. Love the place, staff and food.

    Staff were slow, it wasn't busy yet we sat with our dirty dishes in front of us for over 20 mins then we left. We weren't offered any other drinks etc. It was my daughters birthday and i had requested a table with a view and we were at the wall. Terrible service. Nice restaurant and décor but wouldn't go back.

    A good choice of quality food and drinks, very friendly service, such a lovely setting. We had a set menu, a 2 course or a 3 course. The ribs were amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was fab. Very good value for money. We will definitely be going back and would recommend. The only wee gripe would be it was a little bit cold in the restaurant.

    The staff and quality of the food were great but the menu was very disappointing. We wanted a Sunday lunch but what was on offer were burgers, pizzas and curries. When we asked for the dessert menu , there was a choice of about 6 cakes or ice cream. For a hotel of this quality, the choice on the menu was extremely poor so I've won't be back anytime soon.

    Very disappointed booked table for 11 after using the Spa with my two daughters the only menu on offer was a basic breakfast menu very surprised as I had confirmed on booking which menu would be available at that time and was told the bar menu would be available. We had a coffee and left to eat else were. The Spa was excellent unfortunately the restaurant was not! Not a good birthday experience for my eldest daughter

    Always dine in at The Apex. We had our wedding here so knew the food was going to be good. Round of applause to the kitchen staff, waitresses that served us. Professional and pleasant.

    Food was great, seemed short staffed, it was over an hour for our food to arrive! Server was unable to answer basic questions about the menu, a new hire perhaps, very friendly though. If you have time, by all means, give it a try.

    We were at the grill for a teenage birthday after the aqua park. The menu choice was excellent, with some opting for the afternoon tea and others for smaller plates. Perfect ambience and the serving staff were lovely. They even put out the birthday cake on a platter and lit the sparklers!

    The menu has changed since my last visit. the set menu is the better option. I had steak with Stilton sauce, The sauce was disappointing and returned. The Dundee cherry cheesecake was divine. service good as ever

    My friend and I had a fantastic time on Sunday at the Quayside. Pizzas were amazing and the staff were lovely and friendly. We didn’t notice that the restaurant offered free parking for 4 hours as part of the Apex hotel so will definitely utilise that next time. Would highly recommend and if you a wanting a fancy but affordable restaurant then this is a great option!
