The food was amazing
Great food for very fair prices in London! There was a big stand up party in the restaurant and only two waitresses so it was extremely difficult to get service but the food was so good we will definitely return, hopefully on a less busy night.
Lovely meal with great service!
I’ve been a few times now and it’s consistently good food and usually easy to get a table.
This time we had the antipasto platter to share which was good, but a bit pricey for what was on the board.
For the mains we had pizza and it was good. Worth going for just the pizza alone.
I had a very nice meal at Radici - the restaurant is beautiful inside and the polenta was fabulous. Would’ve given five stars for everything except the Evening Standard set menu was not given to me straight away (it’s such a good deal, they should definitely be handing that out first), and my meatball starter was not very hot when it came out.
Food was really nice, the service wasn't great at all which left a bad taste in the mouth.
We were seated in the Wine room and it was cold down there. The food was great as usual, can't complain about that.
Great pasta and pizza. Casual, everyday dining. Staff always friendly and good service.
Lovely service and it was great to have a table that we could wheel in a wheelchair.
Radici - find it hard to complain about this place, always great service and good Italian food.
Greatly improved since my last visit, with a low noise level, probably because this was on a weekday night, when the Almeida Theatre was playing, and the restaurant only about half full. What we liked most was that there were menu items at varying prices, so that you could eschew the white truffles, and order friendly-priced dishes that allowed us to drink a great (and accordingly priced) Barbaresco.
I was happy with vey friendly and decent staffs. In terms of food, I won’t complain if they increase the price 20% more.
My experience at Radici was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. The host (i think her name was akron) was extremely bubbly and showed us to a lovely table by the window.
Food and drinks were perfect, the best pizza in London! Service was very attentive, the whole team were really helpful and made the night extra special. I will definitely return soon.
We enjoyed our dinner visiting the area. We found the the staff terrific, almost as good as the food.
Perfect for the Almeida theatre
Went for a birthday, nothing done from the staff. Really disappointed. The food tho was good.
Radici is a no brainer for us. Close to home and amazing food. I love the caccio e peppe (excuse the spelling)
The food was only ok - certainly not worth the prices they charge. Service was patchy - the second glass of wine we ordered never arrived (but, to be fair, it didn't appear om the bill either).
Food is amazing, service is great. We are a group of 8 and there are plenty of space, which is very important for a group gathering.
Best and quality food
Went here for a pre-theatre menu with a friend - excellent, speedy service, and good (albeit not outstanding) food. Excellent value for money though, and would definitely dine here again. Loved the ambience too. Many thanks.
Went there very soon after it opened and it was a fantastic meal. This time it felt too 'manufactured', courses came out too quickly after ordering like they were prepared so presentation was poor, wilted salad on starters and 'slopped' on tiramisu with too much coco powder. Main course pasta was small for price (not on pre-theatre menu) and no nut-free desserts meant wife couldn't have one. Overall didn't feel great value and disappointed compared to previous visit. Service was ok, but not proactive in offering a nut-fee dessert alternative.
Have recommended in the past wont be now.
Radici was super busy for a Wednesday evening, but the food and service was impeccable
A delicious meal served by a very friendly waiter in lovely surroundings, just opposite the Almeida Theatre. The courgette flowers with ricotta were amazing, as was the aubergine parmigiana. Will definitely go back.
We love Radici!! We visit at least once a month. The whole experience is always superb!
Fabulous, lovely staff and incredible food.
The pretheatre menu needs to change more. Meatballs and mash is odd starter. £15 is great value but then £6 for a really tiny portion of green beans ( as no sides in set menu) is disproportionate.
Good food and location, and nice decor - great for groups
Good food, nice setting
Evening standard menu was fine, quite basic but nice enough. Good wine and good service.
Our waitress Sara was great!
We had an overall nice experience but the service was a little slow and at time inattentive.
The food was flavoursome and felt homely but the presentation could have been nicer.
The loud pop music definitely kills the ambiance a little bit unfortunately. It’s unnecessary given the great decor and food at Radici.
Lovely lunch at Radici, as usual. I adored the Cacio e Pepe with truffles, and the delicious home made ice cream. Thank you again!
Felt like a drifting ship, lacking in overall management with pleasant but inexperienced staff. The food was reasonable and the venue is fine, if not a bit spartan. Overall I had the impression that someone’s investment in this restaurant is not being fully exploited.
First time taking the family and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Great Sunday menu including 3 roast dinners. Perfect
It's strange to rate drinks better than food in a London restaurant but the half price cocktails were very good as was the Calabria wine. The food however was pleasant but hugely overpriced. I was offered a special as I gave a cheese allergy which was pleasant enough spaghetti with mussels and bottsrga or fish roe, not caviar! I was then charged £19.50 for a small enough plate. My friend had a squid plate which was also very small. They have a pretheatre menu which is hugely uninspiring with 3 offers which were either pasta and cheese and Pepper, chicken breast and mash or a pizza margarita with extra toppings at a cost. Surprisingly few customers seemed to take advsntage of it. Islington has no many good restaurants that over pricing seems a strange policy. Anyway wine is good!
Fantastic Italian food, great service. Lovely view into the kitchen & great staff! Very authentic dining
Nice place offering good food, however service was very slow and not prompt. We needed to keep asking them things rather than them coming to the table. Also, we were there with two of toddlers and when we asked them if they had crayons and something to draw they only brought one set instead of two.
