Radici Ratings and Reviews
My third visit to Radici; the first was their opening week, it was good but not in my top ten, the second was an event I booked for my husbands birthday, he enjoyed it and it was good but not all I expected it to be. Yesterday was the best so far and I look forward to returning to sample more of the same. The portions are a good size, the ingredients are spot on and service is very good. Radici is now within my top ten because of quality food, location to home and lovely ambience; I can see it becoming a Sunday lunch favourite.
Absolutely sensational Italian food. Fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared and with stunning flavor. My girlfriend and I came here on the back of a great review in the Guardian and it did not disappoint. HIGHLY recommend this place if you love Italian food. You can also get tapas style sharing options, which makes for a great date. Can't wait to come back.
Radici was a lovely restaurant. The food was superb and the service couldn't be faulted. Food came out in a timely manner and was reasonably priced. The only thing I would say is the menu was in Italian, which of course it would be being an Italian restaurant. However, a small description in English might help those not experienced in Italian dining. We had to Google what things were before we ordered them, although I'm sure if we'd have asked the staff they would have translated for us.
This was my second visit and it was with an Italian foodie friend. It exceeded expectations. The menu has a great selection. Shared a few starters along with the pizza, olive oil and rosemary.
For mains the cod pizzaiola was superb and the other main was the lamb special.
Great location and service is good as well.
We had the tastiest and happiest meal.. the food was stand out, really simple italian, but delicious and regional + the staff were very good and friendly. They welcomed our little boy to take a look at the kitchen, where the chefs were equally nice. Everything we ate was delicious and the wine was perfect. We will recommend to friends and go again
Amazing!! Started with proper Italian cocktails and perfectly crispy calamari and some sexy deep fried pizza from the chef de patron's plate! The seafood linguine was cooked to perfection (although a little rushed as we hadn't finished our starter). Great wine, very reasonably priced.
A little piece of Italy in the heart of Angel!
My wife and I absolutely loved this place. First and foremost, the food is absolutely delicious - very high quality honest Italian food - nothing really fancy, just really really good!! Fab wine list, staff super friendly & efficient, and restaurant décor/ambience is perfect. We will definitely be back soon :)
The dough for the pizzas is quite the best ever and I also really like the sheep cheese topping on one of the pizzas. Excellent value pre theatre dinner. Modern and attractive surroundings. Friendly and charming service. Would take any friend there and know they'd be impressed
We booked the Evening Standard menu which represents outstanding value. Lovely evening, great food, I recommend the mackerel starter and lasagne for main. The restaurant itself is light, modern, airy with a nice ambience. I can't think of anywhere better for dinner in Islington
This was a great value and substantial meal. Dishes are simple but authentic, ingredients of good quality and portions very generous. We came for an early evening meal but many in the restaurant were going to the Almeida Theatre across the street and servers were initially intent on processing their payments. Our pizza and oil was intended as a pre-meal nibble (we hadn't anticipated quite how large it would be) but it actually arrived after our starter complete with an apology and removal from the bill. Our starters of fritto misto and burrata were both good versions of familiar dishes. Pasta courses were more original, especially the tagliolini cacio & pepe which came with grated truffle. A good range of southern Italian wines by the glass, small or large carafe and bottle.
We had the Evening Standard set menu. The food was great but the options a bit limited. Can't complain though as ordering a la carte would have cost double.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, stylish furnishing and lots of space, which we liked a lot.
Finally, the service was simply outstanding - we were looked after by every staff member and they had the most friendly and professional manner. Thank you, guys!
Up there with the best restaurants I've been to in London. If you like the food of southern Italy (Puglia especially), I think Radici is probably the best London has to offer. Parmigiana was amazing, waiting staff friendly and helpful. Worth every penny.
