Fathers day lunch. Food was delicious - every dish we had was great. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the restaurant is very spacious, so lots of other fathers day parties with children were not a problem.
The service was a bit slow, and it was difficult to catch the waiter's eye to order additional things.
We could have ordered everything we had from the set menus but because the order was taken piecemeal, we weren't able do that and paid for the a la carte menu. Having said that we felt it was value for money - if we had ordered set menus it would have been fantastic value.

Wanted to try a Fransesco Mazzei restaurant but not the more expensive Sartoria. Was very surprised. I was expecting a small restaurant but this restaurant is enormous. All the meals were a good size and of superior quality. There were options for me on my wheat free diet. A few of the meals were just meat cheese and vegetable but they also said they did gluten free pasta which means when we go back again I can try something different. I had a very nice brunch of pancetta poached eggs and avocado with a starter of salumi and buffalo mozzarella. My desert was hazelnut ice cream. My husband had meat balls starter and chicken Calabrese followed by the cake of the day which was made with a heavy dark green pistachio flour. The coffee and wine was very good value having modest prices for a London restaurant. I would recommend this place and will be coming back another day.

I have never been let down by Radici. When you come to Italian restaurant, you need to have conversation, feel at home, be at a family atmosphere and finally exceptional food. Alessandro has made the experience effortless and created a truly Italian experience. You need to know Giuseppe by his character in his food. His meticulous preparation, Quality presentation, brings your home food on a Sunday lunch. I am grateful to know both and this restaurant. We have been fortunate to find this great eat.

Pre theatre supper. Alas no hot food was available due to gas failure. The cold dishes we were obliged to choose were insipid and over priced. Next time we go to the Almeida theatre we will have supper elsewhere.

I think this was an off night for the restaurant: it was better the first time I went. The food felt rather tired; even their zucchini fries had become oily. The service was really amateur. A good maitre d, but rather untrained others - so food did not arrive at the same time, we had to signal throughout the meal for more water/wine or whatever. All this is a pity, because the menu and ambience promise more.

Although I gave one star it’s only as I could not leave just a comment.
Booked the restaurant for our first anniversary as we had held our reception there the year before. About an hour and half before our reservation I was called and was informed that they had to cancel the reservation. Was deeply disappointed but was nothing to be done as they said they had problems with their toilets.

We have been a number of times to Radici mainly pre-theatre. I thought I should write on this occasion and we were so very warmly greeted by Lorenzo and his fantastic team. The food was better than ever with the most delicious pasta and mains of lamb and guinea foul. The chef Giuseppe came to say hello. I mentioned to him that my very close friend’s son, who is 8, had commented that the pizza he ate at Fiume, Francesco Mazzei’s restaurant in the new Battersea power station (which we have also enjoyed hugely) was the ‘best ever’ - Giuseppe explained the intricacies of the flours used. Delicious. Both are fantastic local Italian delights to share with friends and family.

Gem of a restaurant, great pizza and interesting brunch options. Added bonus is that you can see ham cut and chicken carved in front of you and pasta made right there in front of you too. I recommend zucchini frites and pizza. Children’s menu has large size pizza.

Had a wonderful lunch, wait staff were super friendly and very accommodating to anything we wanted. We had the tuna tartare/avocado Pinsa and Grilled Mixed Seafood, both were amazing, the Pinsa was a cool twist on traditional pizza and so delicious.
Fantastic fresh food, good value for money, plus friendly staff - will definitely be back!

Had brunch there today. The restaurant is open and large, great seating options for just two or larger groups. The decor is rustic Italian modern style. Food was fabulous. Started with the spiced meatballs, perfectly cooked, not dry in the least, and just the right amount of heat. Had pancetta and egg pizza, pancetta was plentiful and very nice flavor, sauce lovely, cheese and crust all nice. Service friendly and knowledgeable.

A very good value pre-theatre menu and the dishes we chose were delicious. The staff were very friendly and showed an appropriate level of attentiveness. However, we seasoned diners were pretty shocked by the price of the wine.

We didn't eat pizza, which is maybe the thing to order. One waiter was excellent but the other was distracted and forgot to bring my friend's main course which she then had to eat after the other three of us. The same distracted waiter didn't seem to know anything about the menu. Food was perfectly ok Italian stuff, but poor relationship quality and price. The desserts were terrible - Tiramisu was all cream and the rum bad inedible with ancient ricotta on top of drenched baba. The chef came to the table and apologised, which we appreciated. Large place, suitable for young people - except seemed pricy to us.

Friday night was busy and very noisy. Service was poor. Waited for 30 minutes and only after complaining got our food which was just ok. The waiter was apologetic and didn't charge for the side salad.
Won't bother to go again.

We had read that this restaurant was a hidden jem and were excited to see how this differed from what was the Almeida restaurant.
On arrival we both had a cocktail and both were very good, my husband said his was outstanding.
We moved to our table and ordered the house specials. Mine was a clam dish which was mediocre, it lacked real flavour and if we were to return I most definitely would not order again. I was really surprised as it looked like it should taste incredible.
My husband ordered a house special which had so much breading that the true flavour of what lay underneath was lost.
The manager came over and spoke with us and brought over a chocolate cake on the house which although a kind gesture -
I would have preferred to enjoy a really delicious meal out with my husband.
We both left feeling very disappointed with the food and not keen to return. Hopefully at some point we do and have a better experience.

My third visit to Radici; the first was their opening week, it was good but not in my top ten, the second was an event I booked for my husbands birthday, he enjoyed it and it was good but not all I expected it to be. Yesterday was the best so far and I look forward to returning to sample more of the same. The portions are a good size, the ingredients are spot on and service is very good. Radici is now within my top ten because of quality food, location to home and lovely ambience; I can see it becoming a Sunday lunch favourite.
