Radio Alice Pizzeria
Founders Matteo and Salvatore Aloe first perfected their recipe in Bologna, using ancient baking techniques to create a new kind of pizza.
Using mother yeast makes for a sourdough base that’s crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. While toppings, sourced from small-scale suppliers in Italy and added at just the right moment, are portioned perfectly onto each slice.
Integrity in ingredients extends to the drinks menu too, with organic wines grown on sustainable farms set up on reclaimed mafia land.
Pleasing diners across Italy since 2010, Radio Alice is the London incarnation of their popular pizzeria, Berbere.
Always fab food and service. Best pizza in SWL!
As always great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff
Always a good service at Radio Alice. The venue is either quiet and lovely or alive and noisy, just like in Italy.
Pizza are the best in town with a real affordable price.
The tomato base of their pizzas is incredible. However, service can be sketchy - really depends what night you go (i've been many times). Also some tables are nice others not so nice.
The pizza size was the size of a child’s pizza!
The incredibly rude manager informed us that this was now the norm - they cut the pizza up into 8 slices so you don’t notice the size. When you group the slices together it equates to a miniature sized pizza that they should be embarrassed about considering they charge 11 pounds for a pizza!! If it was meant to be a smaller sharing pizza (which according to the manager they are now branding them as sharing) you’d expect the price tag to be changed accordingly.
Overall crap experience - found the manager to be distasteful and extremely arrogant!
Very slow service and they forgot one of our pizzas.
Great food and service
Very good pizza, not great service (delays and missing orders) but good value for money
One of the best pizza in London. The place it’s great and the selection of ingredients is replay good.
Just a quick note. We wanted to customise a pizza because my friend doesn't eat beef but it wasn't possible to have something else. We had to switch to a vegetarian one. Being more open to customisations would be really appreciated. Also the beer selection could be improved. Overall an outstanding pizza and service
Very nice restaurant, excellent and not standard pizza’s!
While the pizza base is too thick, when the ingredients are fresh, the staff are friendly and the environment casual and fun, it's still exactly the kind of place you want to be to catch up with friends.
Best Pizza in London !!!!! Hands down scrumptious
Great pizza, amazing customer service.
Best pizza ever! And at a very reasonable price.
Great spot with a cool vibe. Tasty, well-priced pizza. Service was a tad slow but overall a great time and I have since been back.
Terrible pizza, too thick, I would say kind of focaccia. Whine was very watery, as well as the Negroni we ordered.
Poor service in the end: I have been asked why I haven’t eaten my pizza and I honestly said I didn’t like it, but no discount or apologies offered.
Great pizza friendly service and reasonable prices for area
Delicious pizzas at old street! Nice atmosphere for friends gathering. Recommended!
Really amazing pizzas and garlic bread. Good organic wine and great service. Will be back.
La pizza era semplicemente perfetta per i miei gusti: ho provato sia quella con il prosciutto di Parma che quella con la salsiccia calabrese (ottima ma piccante)
Loved this place. Really amazing pizza.
Fantastic pizza and a lovely surrounding. This place is a stones throw from our flat and loads of good places to drink so we often come here for some food. Although, we wouldn’t keep coming back if the pizza wasn’t fantastic! It’s very traditional and unlike other pizza but worth a try. Prices are very reasonable too.
Really loved the sourdough pizzas and the original toppings.
Very friendly service and amazing pizza's! The dough is really good and the ingredients super fresh.
Nice pizza and very quick service. Definitely recommended!
Nice setting and good service but the pizza itself was doughy, undercooked (the cheese on top hadn't melted at all) and relatively small - all in all disappointing given that there are so many great pizza restaurants out there
Amazing pizzas...unique flavours. Great place to meet for a catch up and some great food. Staff were very attentive and friendly. A great find. :-)
Lovely place - nice pizza, quick service, good price!
