Radius 7 was established in 2015 with the intention of bringing local produce, fresh from local suppliers, allotments, the harbour and the farm, to the public. It takes the form of a relaxed, accessible and welcoming bar and restaurant. What makes the restaurant particularly special though is the guiding principle by which the team find suppliers and local producers to work with.
Please note that we may kindly ask for your table to be vacated 2 hours after your reservation time
Lovely setting and great food. Service was very good, staff friendly and attentive. We had the trio of haddock, ( delicious) chicken with linguine & lamb shank. The lamb was so tender and came with a lovely sauce and shallot mash. Would definitely recommend
We really enjoyed our meal at radius 7. The staff were very friendly and efficient .The food was well presented and tasty, the only reservation that I had was having ordered the pasta was that I asked for some bread to go with it and they sent some soft form of forcaccia which really for me doesn’t go with pasta.
My first visit to Radius 7 and it was amazing. Everything from the moment we stepped in to the restaurant was brilliant. Highly recommend especially the espresso martinis!
We dined as 2 couples and the service was both friendly and efficient. The food was beautifully presented and was delicious.
Tasty, well cooked food from a varied menu served in pleasant surroundings by attentive and nice staff.
This restaurant is an absolute gem. There is a varied and exciting menu full of interesting but accessible dishes.
There is something to please everyone and the customer service is outstanding. Not a big fan of the chairs (bit uncomfortable) or the unisex toilets but that's just my personal preference. Overall, excellent and good so delicious my husband wanted to go back the next day.
Took over 20 minutes to be seated, even though a table was free. Have been before and was very good but I think it has new management as everything was so hap-hazard! Waitresses were confused about sizes of finger bowls and bowls for mussel shells, service was slow, seated right by the place people were coming in and out, bill took ages to come. Generally slow and poor service.
Usually brilliant food but the mushroom pasta was dry and not appetising like normal
All other meals great
Really imaginative decor and dining room; happy welcome and the girl who was going to serve us made an excellent first impression because she smiled and passed more than the time of day. The food was outstanding and presentation immaculate. The concept of the 7 mile radius appealed and seemed to be a defining and distinctive driver of what they were trying to do - ticked all the boxes.
We have to keep coming back as the food is so fantastic.the staff are great.we love everything about this restaurant
Fabulous food, generous portions, overall really happy. Only minor issue was a bit of amateur service from a young waitress spilling things.
I brought my Cousin and his Norwegian girlfriend to Radius 7, and was rather dissapointed with the Fish & Chip meal, as the chips were just little bits of chips and the batter on the fish was not very good at all - he left most of it . The Chicken with Garlic and wild mushrooms was better, but overall we felt it was expensive and the standard was much worse than our previous visits to Radius 7.
Fabulous meal celebrating friends 50th service was excellent, food was amazing definitely going back, highly recommend!!
3rd visit. Great. ......Fries a little greasy.
otherwise really nice overall
Always great service and amazing food both take away and restaurant, just wish we could eat here more than the few times a year we’re in town.
Amazing service from Martyn and the rest of the team the always go above and beyond. The best roast in south Devon by far! Can’t wait for our next visit
We visited Radius 7 for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed in any way with the quality or presentation of the food we ordered. We had 3 courses, each one excellent value and each one presented to a very high standard.
We could not fault the food. My only observation would be that there was little in the way of ambience and also that the chairs, although perhaps trendy, were not comfortable. I noticed another couple had sat on cushions! Certainly for the more mature customer they were not the best choice of furniture.
We would definitely return and look forward to trying more of the menu.
Delicious meal I had the mushroom and spinach linguine which was very tasty followed by bakewell pudding , yummy !!. 1 of the party was gluten free and all staff that we dealt with were very accommodating and knowledgeable . Will be back again soon and would highly recommend .
Great food with attention to detail. Staff were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Dined there twice during my visit to the village.
A lovely atmosphere, and very friendly staff, and of course the meal was very good
Enjoyed the food, service was great would come back again. Also used take away service the fish and chips were really good.
Food was up to the same excellent standard as when I visited 12 months ago. The only downside was that it took so long for the starters to arrive that as soon as we finished our main course we were advised that they had a 2 hour turn around and our
table was needed. Luckily none of us were wanting a sweet and so it wasn't an issue.
Food was amazing and service was great. Will be booking a table here again on our next visit to Devon.
Can only say positive things about this restaurant, spent the past week at Leonard’s cove and 3 of them day we eaten at Radius 👍 all meals were of an excellent standard.
Food quality was outstanding and service was very professional. i would recommend the mussels and also the chocolate bomb dessert that was taken from Michelin guide big name's chef...a delice! higly recommended.
Lovely relaxed airy restaurant. Greeted upon arrival by happy staff and taken to our table promptly. We choose the Sunday roast (sharing platter for two £25.00 - contained beef/chicken/pork). We were asked when ordering how we both liked our beef cooked. When the platter arrived it was well presented on a wooden board and it had both apple sauce and horse radish sauce on the side, plus roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy jugs - it looked wonderful and smelt lovely too. Then the vegetables came out in separate bowls steaming hot and freshly cooked. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff as we had to move tables to accommodate our food board and drinks etc. Reasonably priced for what we had. Would love to try their normal menu, just wish I lived closer.
Love the Sunday roast sharing platter! The staff are so down to earth yet professional. Highly recommend!
staff lacking in confidence, ambience flat. food average. wouldn't choose to return.
Superb locally produced food, perfectly cooked. Great service.
Bright and spacious with good size tables so plenty of room. A great comprehensive menu for both carnivores and vegetarians, also vegan options; I had the belly pork and Sue had the haloumi burger with a green salad, both meals were plentiful and delicious. The puds, ah, the puds: delicious! Plus friendly and efficient service means we will be returning soon. Don't forget to book.
We were recommended this restaurant and so booked for Sunday lunch. Such a lovely airy atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Can’t fault the food it was one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had with a super selection of veg. Wish we were nearer as this would fast become a favourite .
Nice welcome and cocktails to start in the bar was great.
The menu was a great mix of fish, meat and veg options.
Everything was cooked well and local ingredients used. The beef cheek was had a rich intense flavour and was melt in the mouth.the cheese soufflé was delicious.the lamb fell off the bone so flavoursome.i could go on but just book at try it all , so good.
Sunday lunch. Excellent value. Good meat and huge selection of perfectly cooked veg.
Very enjoyable. Lovely dining room, excellent service and wonderful food. Good value. We will be back
Food was nice on the whole. Ordered a bakewell tart for pudding which had a soggy bottom. When we complained we weren't offered a refund for it and just told will pass the message on. Food was a little expensive
Excellent convivial dinner and wines. Both outstanding most enjoyable. The atmosphere was friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend Radius7.
Excellent vegetarian roast dinner! Great value for money. Helpful staff, keen to answer any questions.
We have been numerous times and never fails to please.
The restaurant is very nice and the staff friendly and courteous. The menu is varied enough with some interesting choices however on both my starter and main course the meat, pork and monkfish respectively, were lacking in flavour and a little dry. My wife’s meal was a little better with a delicious soufflé to start but again a bland main course. The triumph of the evening were the desserts which were both delicious.
I had heard good things about this restaurant but left feeling no great need to return. The food is overpriced for the standard of flavour of the dishes being served which is surprising as the concept is to source their ingredients from within 7 miles and the menu is good.
Always a good experience, As usual, great staff, great atmosphere and most of all great food.
Absolutely delicious food, amazing service and great vibe! We will definitely be back for another date night soon!
