Radius 7 was established in 2015 with the intention of bringing local produce, fresh from local suppliers, allotments, the harbour and the farm, to the public. It takes the form of a relaxed, accessible and welcoming bar and restaurant. What makes the restaurant particularly special though is the guiding principle by which the team find suppliers and local producers to work with.
Please note that we may kindly ask for your table to be vacated 2 hours after your reservation time
Food was up to the same excellent standard as when I visited 12 months ago. The only downside was that it took so long for the starters to arrive that as soon as we finished our main course we were advised that they had a 2 hour turn around and our
table was needed. Luckily none of us were wanting a sweet and so it wasn't an issue.
Food was amazing and service was great. Will be booking a table here again on our next visit to Devon.
Can only say positive things about this restaurant, spent the past week at Leonard’s cove and 3 of them day we eaten at Radius 👍 all meals were of an excellent standard.
Food quality was outstanding and service was very professional. i would recommend the mussels and also the chocolate bomb dessert that was taken from Michelin guide big name's chef...a delice! higly recommended.
Lovely relaxed airy restaurant. Greeted upon arrival by happy staff and taken to our table promptly. We choose the Sunday roast (sharing platter for two £25.00 - contained beef/chicken/pork). We were asked when ordering how we both liked our beef cooked. When the platter arrived it was well presented on a wooden board and it had both apple sauce and horse radish sauce on the side, plus roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and gravy jugs - it looked wonderful and smelt lovely too. Then the vegetables came out in separate bowls steaming hot and freshly cooked. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff as we had to move tables to accommodate our food board and drinks etc. Reasonably priced for what we had. Would love to try their normal menu, just wish I lived closer.
Love the Sunday roast sharing platter! The staff are so down to earth yet professional. Highly recommend!
staff lacking in confidence, ambience flat. food average. wouldn't choose to return.
Superb locally produced food, perfectly cooked. Great service.
Bright and spacious with good size tables so plenty of room. A great comprehensive menu for both carnivores and vegetarians, also vegan options; I had the belly pork and Sue had the haloumi burger with a green salad, both meals were plentiful and delicious. The puds, ah, the puds: delicious! Plus friendly and efficient service means we will be returning soon. Don't forget to book.
We were recommended this restaurant and so booked for Sunday lunch. Such a lovely airy atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Can’t fault the food it was one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve had with a super selection of veg. Wish we were nearer as this would fast become a favourite .
Nice welcome and cocktails to start in the bar was great.
The menu was a great mix of fish, meat and veg options.
Everything was cooked well and local ingredients used. The beef cheek was had a rich intense flavour and was melt in the mouth.the cheese soufflé was delicious.the lamb fell off the bone so flavoursome.i could go on but just book at try it all , so good.
Sunday lunch. Excellent value. Good meat and huge selection of perfectly cooked veg.
Very enjoyable. Lovely dining room, excellent service and wonderful food. Good value. We will be back
Food was nice on the whole. Ordered a bakewell tart for pudding which had a soggy bottom. When we complained we weren't offered a refund for it and just told will pass the message on. Food was a little expensive
Excellent convivial dinner and wines. Both outstanding most enjoyable. The atmosphere was friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend Radius7.
Excellent vegetarian roast dinner! Great value for money. Helpful staff, keen to answer any questions.
We have been numerous times and never fails to please.
The restaurant is very nice and the staff friendly and courteous. The menu is varied enough with some interesting choices however on both my starter and main course the meat, pork and monkfish respectively, were lacking in flavour and a little dry. My wife’s meal was a little better with a delicious soufflé to start but again a bland main course. The triumph of the evening were the desserts which were both delicious.
I had heard good things about this restaurant but left feeling no great need to return. The food is overpriced for the standard of flavour of the dishes being served which is surprising as the concept is to source their ingredients from within 7 miles and the menu is good.
Always a good experience, As usual, great staff, great atmosphere and most of all great food.
Absolutely delicious food, amazing service and great vibe! We will definitely be back for another date night soon!
Keep returning as we love the staff the cool interior and the creative food chef keeps producing. All local ingredients and fresh as can be.Also a superb roast on a Sunday
It was lovely .... the food was exquisite, the service fabulous and the cocktails were perfect and it was a wonderful evening ... a gem on our doorstep xx
Our second visit to this great restaurant. Fantastic food in a chic casual dining area. Highly recommend
Fabulous lunch, great food and service. Our daughter especially enjoyed the veggie options.
Thank you radius 7 for a fantastic start to our Christmas celebrations. X
Lovely meal evan if a tad expensive staff and service excellent
Great value excellent menu choice. Seasonal fresh local food.
Very nice food, served very elagantly at a reasonable price.
Great ambience lovely interior.imaginative twists on some dishes . Local produce very fresh .we love this place
Very good food as always., Fish and mussels excellent.
Beautiful place with amazing food. I love their veggie menu whilst the rest of the family enjoyed their Sea and Land menu
We had a great Sunday Lunch at Radius 7. We were in Dartmouth for Family Weekend at the Naval College. We all had a great appetite, especially our son who is attending the college. We all had Sunday roast and there was more than ample portions of great food.
Great atmosphere in a beautiful location as well
Best fresh fish I have eaten for a long time - I had the hake and it was superb.
Cheese board was excellent with lovely creamy blue cheese and very generous portions.
Great presentation and discrete service.
Fantastic food didn't want meal to end ! You can taste that it's fresh and seasonal. No snobbery welcoming atmosphere and envy locals as we have to wait for holidays to enjoy this restaurant.
Good Value Midweek set menu.We will go back for this in future.
Staff were very pleasant.
Great food and service. Great local restaurant and Sunday lunch
Service very slow and they weren't very busy. Food was poor, our starters were wrong. The fish platter was awful, mostly raw fish and no prawns, as the menu described. I wouldn't go again.
Never disappoints, lovely staff , great cocktails.sunday roast Serloin was melt in the mouth and good thick slabs of locally sourced beef.It doesn’t get better than that and the gravy was amazing rich and deep in flavour.
The food was excellent and every bit as good as other fine dining experiences nearby.
We had a lovely welcome in arrival and enjoyed a couple of drinks before being sat. The menu was great with a number of different things to eat. The food was lovely and tasty and we enjoyed it. The restaurant was warm and has lovely views over the sea.
The food was lovely I had the fish platter and husband had brixham plaice. The dark & light pudding was to die for . If you like fish plenty of choice .
The starters took us somewhat by surprise, I was expecting a quail's scotch egg to be smaller and the carpaccio was neither as rare or as thinly sliced as I expected. Still, we managed to fit in both mains and dessert. My husband loved his seafood platter and the duck was perfectly rare. The best, however, was probably the fruit platter. It was situation varied and delicious
