Ragu Pasta is an authentic Italian restaurant located in Edinburgh specialising in fresh pasta, made daily in our kitchen. Our menu showcases 10 pasta dishes including our speciality, slow cooked ragus along side seasonal pasta specials, Italian classic side dishes and desserts. Getting by in the Edinburgh Scene, it’s quite rare to find such a beautiful place like Ragu. Bringing my girlfriend here of 6 years we’re very used to going out to eat. We must say that the service was absolutely joyful, I haven’t seen her crack up with the waiter like that ever! What a funny bloke. The food is priced amazingly and we were practically eating it slower to make it last longer. Amazing wine paring and amazing experience. Thank you Ragu for having us!

Limited but varied menu. Food was excellent- authentic pasta dishes and the focaccia was so good we ordered more. Very busy restaurant but service was great - friendly and attentive

Had a small menu but the quality and taste was outstanding. We were seated and served very quickly with the whole meal for 2 taking only an hour from walking in the door to paying the bill. Staff were lovely and friendly and were more than happy to explain the pasta variations and specials. Would recommend to anyone who is craving pasta (their focaccia was amazing as well!).

The noise question is probably not a fair response as there was a loud child in the restaurant at the time but it was otherwise relatively quiet! Service was amazing and the tiramisu was delicious! The pasta noodles were a bit thick for me for the carbonara but my main issue was the pepper. I really hate pepper and the taste was a bit overwhelming for me. I'd definitely consider coming back as the service was amazing, wine was delicious and I finished the entire tiramisu but I'd probably ask if they could do the meal without pepper. I felt it was a waste of money as I probably ate a quarter of it.
