Highly recommend lovely food and the staff where great, friendly and very hard working
Ok food and functional service; food hit and miss depending on what you order. Good enough variety on the menu and decent prices. Not for special occasion, but perfect for meeting up with friends / family for a meal.
We went on a Saturday night with a 8:30pm reservation, and on arrival were told by the Hostesses that the kitchen closed at 9pm and last orders were at 8:45, because they had decided to close early. When questioned, the Hostess explained that they always close the kitchen 30m after the last reservation (which must have been ours!).
This killed any ambience of relaxation and put pressure on the table of four to order quickly. We did not order appetizers, the drinks (non-alcoholic) were basically crushed ice, and the food was not special (sorry guys!).
As we were paying the bill the light were being turned down/off.
It was not our first time at Rail House but will be our last. There are too many other places who show more appreciation for the business.
My main cost £17 and it literally a bowl a lettuce with 4 bits of halloumi. Frankly awful value for money. Will not be returning.
Nice to try something new but not so much 'up my street' in regards of food taste.
Could've been better - I expected a lot more. Service was OK - food was OK.
Great food. Try the tasting menu with wine choices. You won’t be disappointed
Our smoothies were warm and bread was burnt.
Service was great when we received it, but had to keep asking for service
Really nice part of Victoria. We had a table outside and with a nice morning everyone was buzzing. Saturday brunch has great selection of dishes pretty reasonable. I liked that you could choose half portions for e.g. avacado on muffin !
Vibe was lovely and decent cocktails, we had the truffle Mac and cheese and the falafel salad bowl, both were quite average. Really nice ambience and decor though and good service.
Pre theatre food and drink was great
I loved this place. Really comfortable outdoor seating, varied menu and great food!
Ambiance was amazing! Sunday roast was great especially the creamy corn side dish - loved it! I’d come again :)
There were plenty of tables outside but we were told that there was no availability outside.
We were shown to our inside table and told it was a really nice table. It was not. It was coffee table height and not comfortable. 3 of our party sat on a curved sofa and one on a very low chair. We noticed that two people were initially placed at neighbouring table which was very small and very close to another table. They were then noticed by a server who knew them personally and were immediately moved to a table which had upright chairs and was normal height.
The tables were generally very close together. I observed some diners having to hold their cutlery at an angle as their elbows would otherwise be in a neighbouring diner’s back.
The food was average in quality. Egg yolks very pale. Avocado brown in places. Bacon very hard and stuck together. Could not cut with a knife. Food did not come together so one of our party waited while others had food. Side orders appeared later than main dish.
No decaf breakfast tea option.
Very scant amount of maple syrup and cream with pancakes.
Servers very friendly.
brilliant food, very professional staff, always great overall experience
Service was quick, we orders the spicy noodles which were far too spicy for us and felt overpriced for what we received. The prawn & salmon grill tasted great but again very overpriced.
First experience on Monday was AMAZING!!! Super happy with the food, drinks and our waiter Jan from Czech Republic who was incredibly attentive and really amazing professional.
Five days later I returned with my husband and we have received food (which I had 5 days earlier with my friends and was so delicious)with missing ingredient and terrible taste - after speaking with manager who had one lie after the other for us we’ve got really fed up!
The management should train their managers who after while become very rude and childish.
I was returning customer within a week and now I am not sure I will ever come back
Was a brilliant experience from start to finish, I went for my anniversary with my girlfriend and I loved every minute. The noodles my girlfriend had were unbelievable along with the chicken sandwich I had was delicious. Overall 5/5 stars all round and I could not fault anything!
Incredible service, wonderful waiter we had. Would definitely recommend. Peanut chicken was fantastic.
We had the interailing tasting menu and it was delicious. It was such good value as well. Definitely the best choice for a pre theatre dinner
Very nice lunchtime meal. The service was spot on and the food delicious.
Yummy food and brilliant background! Would definitely recommend!
great looking menu, but big food disappointment and terrible clumsy service.
Unfortunately the food was horrible. It was burned and served called.
The service was good.
Great food, friendly & efficient service & good value.
Tasting menu was great. It has an informal atmosphere. But the food was seriously good. Wine selection was good too.
the food was really great! and a lovely rose to pair with. definitely recommended!
Good service, ver nice vibe in the cafe. Good location as well, perfect for cocktails and drinks at night.
Lovely meal, would recommend to anyone in the area
Had a lovely lunch with friends, the staff were very accomodating and the food delicious.
Great decor too
The reservation team were great, booking us a space for a large group and being quite flexible with the times so we did not feel rushed. When I called to check in as the weather forecast looked like it may rain they gave me the flexibility to have a table indoors or outdoors on the day. In the end we had to sit indoors as it was raining, but the space was great and worked for us.
Food was OK, reasonably tasty, not very big portions but usual London high prices. Fair service; waitress was engaging, lovely and helpful, the waiter was less engaged, wasn't wearing a mask and didn't offer a taste of wine before pouring. Great environment and facilities
Fantastic food, service and surroundings. Will definitely come back soon as the menu was amazing and the restaurant beautiful (the ladies loos are fab too!). Waiters and waitresses were highly attentive and friendly, and as I’d booked with mention it was a birthday, we were given free mini cocktails which were a lovely touch!
The food was amazing and the restaurant is just so beautiful! Loved it
Was put in the corner by the cleaning station and food pick up, hear waiters being told off! I had to wait 30mins for payment to be taken, they werent busy by this point just short staffed!
Very tasty food. Very pleasant staff and good atmosphere. Most enjoyable lunch.
Noce food-not too large portions. Good drinks. Great outdoor seating.
The staff at Railhouse were very accommodating and the food delicious. We were all surprised at how good the food was considering the location of the restaurant.
Great location, had a great waiter, food was good and value for money
The food quality is very poor and very overpriced for what it is. Maybe its a decent place if you're grabbing drinks with colleagues after work, but avoid at all cost if you are looking for a decent dinner and meal. They are better options around to get your money worth.
