However the cheesecake could have been better
Good vegetarian dishes
I bring my vegetarians friends here, since it is near my office. On this occasion my sister and her husband were busting from the States and they are vegetarians.
Very good and friendly service. Loved the cocktails! Plus food was delicious:)
This was my first visit suggested by my daughter. A very varied menu suitable for the health conscious to those in need of comfort eating resulting in very tasty high quality food. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommend.
Great service, good food, bit pricey
Great new place in the heart of London. Fabulous seating outside especially in the sunshine and the service was friendly and efficient.
The burger was really good :)
I’ll definitely be returning soon!
Starters slightly disappointing and we had to wait a long time for our drinks, but mains excellent and staff v friendly, good ambience for all ages. Would try again.
Good attention to detail from our waiter on gluten free options
Great atmosphere, tasty brunch and friendly, efficient service - definitely come again!
Really handy for pre-theatre meal - fast service and good food!
Rather limited menu, we struggled to choose decor very casual and seating not very comfortable.
Rediculously expensive for two small breakfasr (£50). The cofee was everything but cofee and was also cold. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The bacon was left over and tasted old. You can get a better breakfast at any corner cafe at the fraction of the price.
Average food. Constant interruptions from waiting staff and yet not around when required - for the bill etc. Very poor compared to The Riding House Cafe.
Food and service were very good. We were offered bacon to go with our burgers but did not get the bacon when the meal was served,. It was okay and we mentioned to the server. The manager came over and offered us free drinks, 3 of us had coffee on the house! It was a nice gesture and good customer service overall.
I have been to the Rail House previously and the food and service have always been very good indeed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit the meal and service was excellent. Just a little surprised that we weren’t ask is we wanted tap water as charged £3 per bottle of water - which were actually refillable. Just a minor point. Highly recommended.
Really nice choice of tasty salads. I love their outside space for these days. Nice choice of starters too, love their pea houmous with courgette bread.
Friendly staff and nice setting
Slow service, food not great
Have only been here for brunch but the food is delicious and nicely presented. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Prices are reasonable and I think good value for money. There's comfortable outside seating too. I've been twice now and will definitely come again.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest face/smile and were sat quickly. After that, service was slow, no juices (at breakfast time) as the machine was broken and the food took forever to arrive. However, it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was delicious - especially the green tea waffles and the avocado and chard florentine.
The food was absolutely delicious, accompanied by a lovely rosé, served in beautiful surroundings, but service was a little slow
We moved our reservation outside as the weather was so good. We had some drinks and food. One of the highlights for me was the pea houmous with courgette loaf. Fantastic.
Lovely restaurant with lovely staff.
We sat at a tsble outside which was great.
I have been once before and had a lovely meal but this time it was a disappointment. The chicken was brown and pink in some places and neither of our meals seemed value for money followed by coffees which are over £3. However staff were lovely as always -just the food and value for money were a let down this time. Not sure ild recommend again.
A great Saturday brunch trip due to very friendly & helpful staff and exceptionally tasty food!
Great location, good service. Good for drinks but food is poor
Food was amazing, I had the mac and cheese with confit duck & my friend had the buttermilk burger. We had a cocktail for dessert - both were very good. Atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and very attentive. Overall, it was a lovely meal and I would definitely go back
Terrible and we left after 20 mins of no service. Not once did someone come over to offer drinks or advise us they were having computer issues. Thoroughly disappointing experience and will not be visiting again. Colleague I was with mentioned the breakfast portion sizes were very underwhelming when he'd been previously.
The food was very average, it sounded better on the menu than it tasted.
This was my third visit & I loved it once again. I brought a friend here who'd had a rough day at work for a small plate or two - we ended up making our own mini 3 course meal from the lighter options which worked perfectly for us! The Sourdough bread was delicious, although more like a mini-loaf than a roll, and the whipped feta was amazing, we could eat it all day! We then chose ceviche & a steak tartare which were both really tasty. Finally we shared a flourless chocolate cake - whilst it may look small, it was very rich so we were glad we shared, although on another day we could have easily had one each!
Good brunch offering. The green tea waffles were incredible, one of the best brunch dishes I've had in a while. The Shaksuka was also very tasty. Friendly staff and great, fun atmosphere.
Don't book a table here after 9pm as they close the kitchwn at 9.45. We had a late table and when we arrived they refused to serve us so why accept the booking?
We were placed in the corner of the restaurant at the start (presumably is to allow for a more quiet environment for our business lunch), however once we asked to be moved, we were moved to the brighter part of the restaurant. The food itself was excellent and there's a good selection of wine and beers. Can certainly recommend it if you're in the area.
Crispy squid pretty poor as was poutine (not hot no cheese) - quite pricey for average fair. Drinks were nice, service was good. Probably only for business breakfast/brunch I'd say rather than stellar night out.
Went for Saturday brunch and food came out cold. Was much better in taste the first time we went over a year ago.
We both had a pre theatre dinner. We were seated and then just left for 15 minutes. Supposedly it was because kitchen had not opened. Okay but maybe tell us and take a drink order?
Then the food. I ordered a dinner size salad with freekah. It was pathetic. Mostly iceberg lettuce. My friend had starter size that was nothing but lettuce. This was not cheap. Do not understand positive reviews. Will not be going back.
Lovely food - generous portions and really fresh flavours. Service was spot on and the whole restaurant had such a lovely feel. You could have a casual but to eat or a celebration and be equally happy.
Location, ambience and great food. Outdoor dining is fabulous as well.
The menu was good, but the quality of the food was average to poor.
Food was really delicious.
So nice to see some exciting and tasty healthier options on the Menu.
I had the Stir-fried quinoa and it was so delicious.
We shared some starters and the ceviche was so so good.
Really enjoyed it and want to go back again to try some of the other things on the Menu!
This restaurant had been recommended to me and on this basis I made a booking for a catch up with friends. My friends enjoyed their meals of chicken and lamb. I ordered the burger which was very greasy. There was grease on the plate and when I picked up the food to eat, the grease was still seeping from the burger. The chips served with it were hard and inedible. I couldn't eat my meal and returned it. I wasn't offered an alternative and neither did they take the cost of this item off the bill until we asked. I did not receive an apology with regard to the poor standard of my meal. Wine is very expensive too. All in all a very disappointing experience and we will not be returning.
