A nice place / great atmosphere but not great service. After serving us drinks, the waiter didn’t come back to take a food order and after 20 minutes we had to ask for service ourselves. When the waiter did arrive, he was in such a rush to get away that he didn’t take my order down correctly and I had to call him back to add a side, and I ended up getting something different than I’d asked for.

Location & ambiance works for our girls brunch catch ups - food decent though not spectacular but nice elegant decor & atmosphere. However service is never that spot on - this time it was appalling, waited over 30min for drinks which were then incorrect, table wasn't cleared of dirty items until we did it ourselves, 2 items missed off food order, another item incorrect, even though we ran through the order twice. Luckily the manager realised half way through & very kindly addressed the issue, took accountability & removed items from the bill. I was impressed with his recovery but am still horrified at how the waitress got a job there considering it is part of a smart hotel chain. To be fair, none of the other waiting staff (aside from the manager) seemed particularly switched on - having spent decades in a hospitality industry myself I'd consider this venue in need of a serious customer service overall.

So lovely. The food was delicious and the staff are very friendly. They made a custom cocktail for us which was amazing. Highly recommend.

Food is good, surroundings nice, waiter pleasant but, and this is our second time, Sooooo Slooooooow. It is difficult to catch their attention, they are often not in the room and food takes ages to be prepared. I could have walked home in the time it took to get the bill.

The place looks great and there is a nice ambience. The cocktails are really good and are the selling point for this restaurant.
The chicken burger was nice but the quesadilla's were not good value for money. They charge extra for king prawns and chorizo and the charge is extortionate for what you get. Let them down.
Most of the service was good, but there were moments where it seemed some people were a bit lost and kept getting confused about tables. Ended up with us being charged for a bottle wine we didn't order and twice for the burger.
The cocktails and chips saved it and definitely a lovely setting, just a few things that let it down.

I met up with my bestie (first time since lockdown) for a bottomless brunch at Rake's. It did NOT disappoint! There are two areas in the restaurant, one with a more luxe lounge feel and the other a bit more laid back but lovely in decor and it's where the DJ is located. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

I wanted to sit in the more lively area and was kept informed if there was cancellation, I'd be moved. They did move myself and my bestie and gave a great table. The DJ vibe was fantastic! It felt like a great combo of food, drinks, dancing in our seats because the music was so good, and good service!

I had the French toast which was an interesting experience and I think some maple syrup (instead of the cream, which I didn't have) would have added to it. I then had avocado on toast with smoked salmon, which was dressed with some fresh diced tomato and chilli... not too hot, had a lovely kick to it and combined everything tasted very good. My friend had a butter chicken burger and devoured it!

The drinks for the bottomless brunch were a choice of bellinis, kir royale, aperol spritz, bloody marys or prosecco... the bellinis were the best tasting out of the selection we got to mix up (you can choose any of the options instead of just having one type of drink). I think the alcohol volume in each of the drinks we had were a little more generous, but we're not complaining about that at all!!

The venue was easy to find and very conveniently located within the Andaz hotel by Liverpool Street station. Everything we had was good value for money and I would definitely recommend it as a great brunch spot with a fantastic vibe (seriously the DJ was soooo on point!), good service and lovely decor.

Really beautiful decor, bigger than you think as you walk through it opens out. We came for cocktails and the waiter was very informative and the service was quick. Cocktails were delicious and were the standard London price and it's right next to the station so perfect for getting home after!

Great afternoon with bottomless Prosecco. We had to ask to for more Prosecco but we still had more than enough. The ambience is amazing and the waitress really friendly. Deffo recommend for a girly catch up!
