   had booked a table and when considering the menu there wasn't much of a choice and the Sunday roast was finished (this was 5.30) so we decided to leave and try elsewhere

   Menu not that extensive but we had sirloin steak and monkfish which were delicious. Really nice surroundings, service very good. Would recommend.

   Service was impeccable from the start, taken to our table when we arrived. First time at RF. curried cauliflower was nice and the goats cheese starter, although hubby was served a fillet when asked for a sirloin. Fillet was delicious and was happy to pay for this. I had butternut sole which was light and tasty, Little bit higher in price from other places but worth.

   Market menu was great value. Our servers placed our meal very well. There was no rush for the table back which was lovely -as so many places seem to do these days. A Good Friday afternoon venue in very pleasant surroundings. X

    Could not fault anything! Excellent service without being intrusive. Water topped up as needed. Food was excellent, I was in a party of 6 and everyone was delighted with their meal. Would thoroughly recommend!!

    Seafood cocktail lovely as was dessert however although the steak was very nice was spoilt by frozen chips. I did not expect that from this restaurant.

    Food excellent as always - felt a bit rushed towards end of meal as waitress kept asking if we wanted anything else …. tho she was very pleasant at all other times. Fist time I’ve felt hurried to leave as there were plenty of empty tables ….

    Size of main dish food portions were small and expensive compared to other restaurants in the same vicinity. Main dish served in a bowl which demonstrates how snail they were.

    We didn’t get asked if we would like any additional drinks when our glasses were empty by time our mains arrived, we had to get up from our table and ask for them. When our meals were put on the table were were not asked if we would like any sauce or vinegar they were just put down and server walked away - we then had to get out of our seat again to ask for some ketchup for my daughters burger. We then had to get out of our seat to go ask for the bill too. Nice surroundings but service could be so much better and at £67 for 2 mains a soft drink & 1 glass of white wine I would expect better service. Staff were pleasant and helpful when asked but just not attentive enough.

    First time dining here. We were a table of 5 women and everyone loved it. The food was good quality, very tasty , served hot and on time. The chicken kiev with noodles was fresh and delicious. The wine selection was good. The service was excellent. We all loved the decor and as it was a Wednesday evening the bar and restaurant was not overly busy but we liked that it wasn't too packed or noisy. However, if if it was busy, we were impressed that there was a sensible amount of space between the tables so that you don't feel like you are listening into the next table's conversation. We will definitely go back if these levels of service and quality are sustained.

    If you want somewhere to take a colleague to where you know that the food, service and atmosphere is going to be first class then Ralph & Finns is definitely the place to go. So, once again it came up trumps again. My colleague was very impressed with everything and he is not someone who give praise freely. Therefore, thanks again for not letting me down!

    Lovely food, but not alot of choice for me. As someone who cannot eat butter, mayo or cream, I always like to see a quality battered fish with chips and peas on the menu. This is often my go to when there's not alot for my personal preference. That said, I did manage to choose the salmon which was lovely, and most other people won't be disappointed.

    Menu had changed since my last visit. Good choice available, beef cheeks were very tender & had a lovely sauce with them, would definitely recommend them. Overall lovely surroundings, great place for a catch up, good food & a drink

    It's... ok. Kinda over priced for food quality. Nothing terrible. Safe for a business lunch. Cheese plate very poor though and no info on what cheeses to select. Two goats, two crumbly peppery things and a Comte or some such.
