Rancho Steak House
Fri - Sat 3:30pm - 11:00pm
excellent value and huge portion of steaks...good value wine . stuffed by end of meal!!
Obviously limited but good menu, could use some more Mexican influences, though, to make it stand out.
Staff wasn't very friendly, though. Not rude or impolite, but with a lot of room for improvement which unfortunately made the overall experience quite a bit worse. The food is good, though, so 3-4 stars for the whole thing and 2 for the service.
My second visit to Rancho was a disaster.Previous occasion I experienced the best steak of my life so was expecting the same. They mixed up my steak with my wife's. I got rare and she got medium so they went back meanwhile my son finished his food.Round 2 and my wife got a steak that was cold and almost blue. It was returned and at that stage we just wanted to leave.A third steak was offered on the house and although it was better my wife had lost her appetite. We ended up eating three separate meals so much for a family dinner. Expensive and poor quality for what we got. We will not be returning.
Quick afternoon meal with family all passing through Edinburgh at the same time. Found this to be close to Haymarket station. Steaks were exceptional and menu was fine for coeliac daughter. We had a baby with us and it was no problem.
Corn on the cob was delicious !
The steak was cooked as I asked, the service was good. Really enjoyed.
High quality meat and friendly service.
We had ribeye steaks and have to say they were the best we've had in a long time, Rancho's is a little out of the way and doesn't look much from the outside but if you are a steak lover OMG it's good and the service is brilliant. Lovely little discovery.
Food was good freshly made and very tasty especially the prawns.
