It was really really nice here. Didn’t feel like we were dining in Manchester. It’s very classy and the food was delicious. The service was personal and fantastic. The only reason the service wasn’t exceptional is because we waited a while for the bill.
Good but not fantastic, had to send main course back, but the replacement was good, however had to eat alone, as my wife had finished hers, not ideal when its your wedding anniversary ! however the starter was excellent, so they will get a reprieve !
Came.for oysters and champagne.. Best oysters I have tasted in a long time stays true to the original reataura t in Soho well recommended
From the moment we stepped in the door our experience at Randall & Aubin was an absolute pleasure. The staff, the atmosphere, the food all amazing. You made our Anniversary night out an extremely special one.
overall many empty tables. but reservation was so difficult and claimed all available slots were full.
hv fresh oysters. lots of tiny shell cracks. new England clam chowder was England style. not creamy at all. and tasted like water. onion soup so many cheese in it and looked like a mess when melted
lamb chop very salty. tiger prawns just average. nothing special
First time coming to this restaurant and it is great to see Manchester finally has a proper seafood restaurant after a long while. The menu is great and full of various of seafood. Unfortunately the oysters we had were just average, maybe they werent in season. Prices can be quite dear but service was great, a little bit more attention to detail would be ideal, like providing us with clean plates after we had the seafood platters as the shells etc have dirt and sands. However, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Dessert menu is not exciting and expensive. This place is great for seafood and I will recommend this.
We had a lovely evening at Randall and Aubin. The food was generally great, and the service was excellent. We’ve been several times now and we’ll definitely go again.
Decided to try Randall & Aubin as somewhere new and was not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. A relaxed atmosphere perfect for Sunday dinner.
We went here for a mid week family meal. We had friendly service and good food. I had the beef tartare to start and lobster po boy for main. Good portion sizes.
There were two 'actors' dressed as Laurel and Hardy wandering around the restaurant going up to tables to tell jokes. My friends and I were constantly hoping they would not come to our table....it was a bit off putting.
I had one of the specials, it was very expensive for what it was.
Great evening, awesome seafood. Very knowledgable staff! Sorry can't remember her name...
We had such a lovely night here. Amazing wine, amazing food! The oysters were fresh and tasty. My husband had the crab and I had the linguine which were both delicious. We were visiting Manchester for the day and stumbled across this place and I am so glad we did. Just perfect for a couple of seafood lovers. Would recommend it highly and definitely would go back!
My boyfriend and I went on a date night here on Thursday and loved everything! Our two servers were excellent and attentive and the food was exquisite. This place ticks all the boxes!
Excellent long lunch spent at Randall & Aubin. (Spent over 3 hours as we lost track of time!) Great relaxing place. The seafood is truly spectacular. Would highly recommend and totally worth a visit if you’re in Manchester especially if you are a seafood or fish lover!
Regularly scoff the oysters at Randall and Aubin. Absolutely delicious, well kept and flavoursome. I look forward to a near term return.
The oysters are to die for - not literally! The wines are nice though a little pricey. Service varies but generally very friendly and attentive.
It was my birthday I couldn’t have picked a nicer place to eat, the staff were great with recommendations and service.
We had a great meal and thought staff was great especially Chris our waiter.
Lovely food and good service, will definitely return.
Great service and food as on my previous visits, refer to my Trip Advisor review - Peakdistrict travel
My partner and I booked a table for our anniversary. Our booking apparently couldn't be found, but luckily it wasn't an issue and we were given a nice table in the middle of the restaurant after our coats were taken and hung up.
The music wasn't obtrusive (a real bugbear of mine ) and our waiter Steven was with us straight away.
The beef carpaccio was excellent, though I would have preferred capers rather than hazelnuts. My girlfriend had the crab cakes which were also good.
For mains we had the grilled tuna and whole garlic lobster with a gratin dauphinoise on the side. Both were very good.
Dessert was vanilla cheesecake and sticky date pudding, both very good.
Steven was able to give good wine recommendations and the service was exceptional. We were neither rushed nor left waiting at any point.
We'll be returning very soon to our new favourite Manchester restaurant!
Lovely afternoon spent celebrating my mums birthday. Nice food, lots to try so will be back.
Lovely. The bill was a bit lofty but I did order oysters, lobster and a bottle of sparkly.
The food was delicious, however there were fruit flies around the table which did spoil the experience.
I had the garlic prawns, my friends had lobster and the scallops. We are all fish fans and we're not disappointed with the taste.
Lovely restaurant with fabulous sea food & excellent service.
Very pleasant surroundings & ambience
We liked Randall & Aubin so much the first time we visited, we returned a second time. Just as good! The Irish oysters and muscadet are highly recommended.
starters was cold , asked for it to be warmed, came again it was cold , not worth the waiters offer to bring another fresh batch , sea bass was cold , steak was average , the only food that was hot was the chips! champagne cocktails made from house brands ....
Quiet as Monday lunchtime but atmosphere was relaxed and we were made very welcome. Would recommend the haddock and chips. My partner had sea bass which was tasty but thought that there should have been two fillets rather than one for the price. I especially enjoyed the free wine-only available in January unfortunately. Service was friendly and efficient.
