With its bare wooden floors, original stained glass windows and quirky lighting, our small rustic restaurant is a welcoming space to enjoy your ‘Really Wild' food and drink. Our festive small plate evenings give you the opportunity to share a unique experience in our cosy, intimate restaurant...ideal for Christmas celebrations! Choose from a selection of festive (tapas style) small plates - as many as you would like! As always, each plate will include wonderfully wild and seasonal ingredients. We will also be offering a selection of dessert plates, and our full range of hand selected wines, beers and Welsh spirits. All dietary requirements can be catered for with advanced notice.     Food at The Really Wild Emporium is interesting and delicious. We tried the small plates lunch which was well presented by the very pleasant team who are genuinely enthusiastic about the food they serve. The shop has loads of natural products for sale and the owners are very knowledgeable and helpful.

    Absolutely loved our evening at Really Wild Emporium. Their local gin selection was amazing, the service was truly excellent, and the comprehensive menu that included foraged goods was well presented and prepared. Like many tasting menus, I will say that the portions were small, and the meal was expensive, so we did leave the restaurant still hungry. I also feel like the vegan menu we had didn't have quite as much thought put into the food value as the menu that included meat which was one of the reasons we were still so hungry. Still, the taste and quality of the food were excellent, so we didn't mind too much. It was a small sacrifice for the fact that there was such a comprehensive vegan menu at all, and one that was of such excellent quality. I definitely recommend a visit, and we'll certainly be coming again!

    Excellent and quite unique tasting menu (without the usual fussiness!) Interesting drinks list. Very good service, but you must book. Highly recommended - you'll have to travel far from St David's for better cuisine.

    The 6 course tasting menu was delicious and all the flavours melded together perfectly. My dietary needs were met well. The servers were attentive and described each course as it was presented so that we knew what to expect. Twice during the meal the chef came out to see us and was very happy to answer our questions about the source for all the ingredients; we were unfamiliar with some of them. It was wonderful to taste new flavours. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed and our table of 4 did not feel rushed. We were on a short break In St. David’s and this restaurant was a real find.

    You need to book early as it's a very popular place and after visiting I can see why. The food was very different from what I had experienced before 6 courses of spectacular dishes with so many different flavours and the waitresses were very knowledgeable explaining what was in each dish. For the experience it was well worth the money and I would definitely visit again the next time were in St Davids.

    A rare treat. Exceptionally good food with a varied complex set menu tailored to our personal likes and dislikes. We were phoned first to check our needs and all were noted and actioned. We enjoyed the informal ambience, the knowledgeable helpful team and especially meeting the chef. A sound introduction to edible plant knowledge which we were able to explore more during our long walks around St Davids coast. Thank you. We loved it.

    Outstanding presentation of local ingredients. We initially thought so many courses would be too much, but they were nicely portioned. We ended up returning for lunch the next day. So good!

    It must have been good George - you came back for seconds!! Our chefs are very good at balancing the courses so that customers leave us feeling full but not bloated.     Chose Really Wild for an evening meal (also open for lunch) during a short stay in St David’s. So glad we did. Their concept of serving locally sourced and foraged ingredients had us enjoying foods rarely seen on our plates including pennywort, silka, sorrel and wrack. All the dishes on the tasting menu were delicious, served at perfect pace by knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. The ethos of the place is writ large on one wall: be respectful to the environment in every way possible. Really Wild list local suppliers with those values. They offer an extensive range of beers, wines, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The one star withheld was really my own fault - I should have worn another layer of clothing!

We have already made the heating adjustment to cope with the changing weather and our wonderful old school radiators are back into their winter cycle. That is global warming for you!!!!     A wonderful dining experience with excellent food and a warm, friendly and knowledgeable service. The 5 course tasting menu was so different to the standard fare being offered elsewhere in the city, a little more expensive but worth that extra for pure flavour alone.     A "cracking evening" sounds a bit like a scene from Wallace and Gromit but we know exactly what you mean. There were 6 courses, sorry if you missed one. Perhaps you were enjoying our excellent cellar too much. The wild foraged ingredients always brings out that special Umami effect and creates that pure flavour that last in the memory for a very long time.     we will take the accolade but have no aspirations for Michelin stars. We offer good quality, honest, tasty local produce combined with the seasonal foraged ingredients that our grandparents used. In addition we try and provide a unique dining experience and not just a meal. It sounds as though we achieved that with you.

    We had a lovely evening and the 6 course experience was very enjoyable. The food was well presented with lots of interesting ingredients and flavours. We particularly liked the tempura mushrooms and the red gooseberry ice cream. The main course was duck which two of our party had and set was delicious. It would have been great to see a chicken option on the menu but that’s just a personal choice. The service was excellent and it was good to meet the chef, albeit briefly as he was so busy in the kitchen. We live locally so would definitely visit again for a special occasion.
