Red Dog Saloon Soho
Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.
Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

espresso bbq, house pickles, onions
Had to move tables at their request three times, each time sitting closer to the open front door, which isn’t as nice in October as it might be in June.
Cocktails weren’t the best and the wait to get them was long.
In terms of BBQ food there are much better places in London. I ordered buffalo wings and was expecting proper American style wings, coated in buffalo sauce, instead I got wings in no sauce, swimming in oil, that had zero flavour accompanied by a blue cheese dip that also tasted of nothing.
Staff were unhelpful with suggestions and explaining the menu so in the end we all left hungry.
Also, the one bathroom in the restaurant really needed cleaning. That was gross.
Overall just a bad choice.
Amazing food and service to match! Would recommend to anyone!
Top food you won’t be disappointed get it booked today
I booked a table for a party of 6. We show up at the venue 20minutes before our time and the place is closed and under construction. Ruined a Friday evening
I was so disappointed in the way your manager at soho handled my booking, as a big lover of red dog saloon this was very uncharacteristic of anybody else I’ve ever met at any branch. Our table was cancelled just a few hours before our booking and requested we eat at another branch, when I asked if we were entitled to any discount for the inconvenience he was very rude and abrupt with me. For this reason I could not recommend Red dog saloon to anybody anymore I’m afraid.
Restaurant had a power cut and cancelled all bookings with not notifying customers that had booked and travelled in. Terrible customer service avoid this place
when we arrived it was shut, due to what I can only assume were power issues due to UKPN digging up outside & having a towable generator with them, nobody let me know it was shut or cancelled the booking.
Tasty food, lovely ambience and friendly customer service.
This is the best place to get burgers in London. The cheeseburger cannot be beaten! We come here about once a month to get our fix. Shame they had no milkshakes available, but the beer is pretty good.
Had such a lovely meal would 100% recommend ! Food was amazing
Beware of UNDER COOKED meat!!! Pork ribs were under-cooked (raw meat once you get past the marinated outer layer) and extremely fatty and disgusting (just fat, hardly any meat). had to send it back. ordered beef brisket which was quite fatty too. while eating the fat dried on the other pieces and can see a thick layer of fat.
Buffalo Chicken wings were sub standard. had at Bodeans and was expecting similar but even the KFC chicken wings taste much better than here.
Coke cans were served warm even though are sold £3.50 each - straight out of storage cupboard. not even tiny bit chilled. Had to ask for glass, which would be the bare minimum that any restaurant does.
No cutlery on the table. had to ask for it and waited after food arrived. Asked for spare plates and the waiter later came back after 10 minutes only to confirm if we asked for extra plates when we had already started eating.
The whole dining experience and sub standard food spoiled the evening. Never visiting again.
Absolutely awful experience
Food was served cold and we were left waiting for over 35 minutes for our starter to arrive (which was subsequently cold)
After waiting for 25 minutes for a replacement starter (which never arrived) I asked to speak with the Manager
His attitude was appalling and he basically shouted at us saying that all restaurants should be closed
I left the restaurant shortly after & will be escalating my complaint
Really awful experience.
Food was amazing, service wasn’t great because they were very busy but very attentive and accommodating once you had their attention.
Fantastic food, loved it. Great vibe, really great atmosphere.
The worst food and service ever avoid at all costs
The food was amazing and you got a lot for your money! Staff very friendly
Great place, been a few times. The only problem was I booked through OpenTable for 19:00 but the restaurant had it booked for 18:20. Luckily I was able to show them the confirmation email on my phone but the staff were a bit funny about it when I had done nothing wrong.
Waitress was lovely. Her manager not so much. Was rude to his own staff. The chicken was also uncooked. So sent it back and they offered to cook it again but it made us late for another event so had to cancel because it took too long. Overall not great. But the waitresses were friendly and attentive.
The food was far to salty so could not eat it everything was too salty not just one item
they missed out 2 of our items and then tried to charge us
food was cold and took too long
would not recommend
It is not the place you would go for the decor (we went to the one in SOHO, no idea about the rest of them) but definitely go there if you want a good burger.
The food was absolutely amazing but I’ve never had a worse service in my life. Will not be going back
Service was great; food was amazing; cocktails were perfect; music/lighting/air conditioning completed the experience.
Food was decent and customer service was impeccable. Thank you team!
This is the best place for burger in London. We’ve been every month since lockdown. At some point I must try their bbq but I’m in love with the cheeseburger with extra bacon and I’m sticking to it. The fried pickles are weirdly yummy, and the fries are marvellous. Love this place and will be visiting again soon.
Really good food and wonderful service. I would highly recommend.
Brilliant food and atmosphere. Loved it here and will totally plan to come back next time we visit london
Very nice restaurant, great table and the food was very very authentically American. Would definitely go again
I had booked a table for 12pm when the restaurant and I was still waiting outside at 12:10-12:15 because the staff
(Chefs and manager) were outside having a cigarette. When it came to paying, you can pay with cash but only the manager can give you your change back so unless the manager is already there (which in my case she wasn’t) you will be waiting for at least 10 mins and then you can get the rest of your money but the whole experience was well worth it and the food was authentic and brilliant quality so I’d recommend
Very good, would recommend especially if you like this kind of american food
Amazing food. Ambience could be improved by music/decor etc but the food is what you go for it and it didn’t disappoint.
Food was cold, staff was friendly but overall the food was poor for the price.
Definitely will go back. Food was perfect, cocktails were perfect and general atmosphere was great!
Half our order never came out after waiting ages to be served
Food was incredible. Music needs to be a bit louder
Lovely cocktails, food very nice when it came. We had an issue whereby our food order didn’t got through from the till to the kitchen so, all in all, we had a 1hr 45min wait for the food, however, the restaurant didn’t charge us anything at all because of this.
Great food and the cocktails were amazing. Friendly staff and brilliant service. Highly recommend
In my opinion, the food was extremely overpriced for what you got. I ordered a cheeseburger that was £9.50 and I got cheese and 1 slice of onion. The milkshake (£6.50) was 1/2 cream so it was a very short drink. Service wise, we didn’t get our menus for 5 minutes after we sat down and once we ordered, our food arrived before our drinks. Once the food arrived it was cold and just very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family.
Felt very rushed as we were just sat down when asked if we ready to order - 4 different people asked us in quick succession. Starter was served at same time as the main which was not expected. We were asked if plates could be cleared whilst we were still eating. Just trying to turn tables around to quickly. It was a shame as we were looking forward to it.
Delicious food and cocktails. Staff were quick and efficient. Busy atmosphere. Value for money.
Food was amazing, the burgers are very tasty and there's plenty of it!
It's a little pricey for what is, at the end of the day, just basic food, but the quality is unquestionably worthwhile.
If you order a larger burger, I would definitely think about not having a side unless you're absolutely starving!
If I had a small complaint, it's that the owners of the restaurant really should consider larger plates .. they are way too small for a large meal!
