Great food. I've been to the one in NYC which is also great. Will go again to try out the other menu items.
The serving staff were quite moody but willing to forgive that as the food was incredible!!! Would recommend highly especially the cheeseburger spring rolls
Fun and great place for an informal supper
We really enjoyed our dinner at Red Farm. The service was exceptionally good! So refreshing to find friendly, attentive staff at a restaurant in central London! We all had starters and mains which were very tasty and well presented. Our waitress persuaded us to try the desert which was as delicious as she described! Perhaps though, it would have been good if there were a few more choices for desert on the menu. This would be my only negative! We will definitely be back. Thanks!
Staff were very friendly, respectful, food was amazing and great value for money, although at a higher price range, I wasn't at all mad about the amount I spent
Check review on Google. RedFarm staff was unbelievably negligent which led to a member of our table having an allergic reaction. They also were extremely unremorseful not attempted to make the situation better.
Brilliant! Love this restaurant. One of the gems in Covent Garden. Have been there multiple times always perfect and delicious. One of the best restaurants for dumplings and Asian food with lots of flavours. Great for lunch, dinner and pre theatre.
The food at Redfarm was very nice. A very unusual take on dim sum. However, it was pretty noisy and so I had to shout at my friend across the table to be heard. Probably not helped by having communal tables. Despite the food being novel, it is quite expensive for what it is if you have the a la carte menu. Fun to try but wouldn't be going all the time.
The service was exceptional. Thank you to the team for looking after us.
The food was really good especially the special - chicken and truffle soup dumpling.
Overall it was a great meal and experience!
I live near the Red Farm in New York and go often, so was interested to try the London restaurant while home seeing friends and family. We were a probably bit rowdy table of 12 who hadn't seen each other in a while, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was just as good as in nyc - delicious dim sum, and they had a version of my favourite smoked chicken main. The soft and crunchy vegetable rice is also great. It's the kind of restaurant I'd expect in a less touristy trendier area than Covent Garden but it means it's very central and easy to get to. Definitely recommend.
I’ve been to the ones in New York. The food is always amazing. The casual seating is part of the experience. I like it but it can be jarring to anyone who wasn’t expecting to share a table or get so close to other people! The London location is super worth it for the fact you can reserve a table and don’t have to wait in line.
To be fair we turned up at 5pm on a Thursday so it was very quiet. We had dim sum and it was a bit of a mixed bag. A couple were nice but not really value for money.
Amazing food, cool vibe, vast menu variety and excellent customer service!
Dim Sum was nice, mains (lobster fried rice and 3 chilli chicken) were average and over priced.
Food was fantastic. Staff lovely and so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to visit again!
A delicious and wonderful birthday dinner. Great service! I will definitely be back again and again.
Food was ok, cocktails were ok, value for money very poor.
Red farm isn’t cheap, so when I saw the lunch deal online it seemed like a good deal. And to be clear it is a great deal. But I had to ask for the set lunch menu 3 times - showing them their own website. It’s £16 for 3 courses, but they wanted us to take the £48 deal. In the end they found the menu, but then said the options had changed before finally honouring the menu we booked.
The food was lovely. But they made us feel rubbish, even making snide comments when we paid (having bought extras). The menu is still on the website, 4 days later, so it hasn’t changed. I won’t go back. You can get food as good and a lot nicer service elsewhere.
This is a great place, with excellent service and food quality. The ambience is quite relaxed, and clientele is usually young, although the cater for anyone. I would definitely recommend for groups of friends.
The menu at Red Farm is very unique which is nice. However I feel more veg options should be made.
amazing dim sum with a twist. the xialongbao was fantastic. one with a straw in the middle was a bit unusual but great.
watch out for the pac man and the cheese burger spring rolls
Great place, very friendly staff. Thank you very much all
The service here is absolutely fantastic and definitely part of the reason I’d want to visit again. The cocktails were delicious, as was the food mostly. My only grouse was that it seemed really expensive for what it is.
Dim sum items were all very tasty each with their own little twist. Loved the soup dumplings and the deep fried hamburger spring rolls in particular. Service was prompt and pleasant. This place hit the spot and I would definitely recommend
Food so so. Cramped on the main table. Fairly expensive and a lot of fried items. Not sure if this is affiliated with the NYC Red Farm. If so, they’ve got some work to do in London.
Very good food. Friendly and efficient service.
Can be a bit noisy
I had wanted to have a drink in the bar upstairs but it is closed for some reason (I wasn’t told why). We decided to have the sharing plates although the main courses sounded very good. We had 5 between 2 of us. 4 out of the 5 were really delicious especially the Crispy Beef and the Crab Soup Dim Sum. All nice and hot. They are all quite fun with a little red and white paper straw in the Crab Soup Dim Sum and a “PAC man” style presentation of multiple colour and flavour dim sum. All really tasty except for the Cheese Burger Spring rolls, which clashed with the more Chinese flavours of the other food. My husband would have loved them! It’s a cute buzzy place.
Staff are lovely and attentive and the food is amazing; highly recommend
SO happy that RedFarm has come to London from New York. The flavours and ingredients are so interesting, it's not your standard dumpling restaurant! The food is delicious and the setting comfortable and cool. Friendly staff, highly recommend
Presentation of food was excellent. We had crispy beef (my favorite), square dumplings (very good) they had an unusual spice in them that I couldn't identify, pork and crab soup dumpling, and flower spring rolls.
All the dishes are meant to be shared. This is a Chinese tapas restaurant. Great wine list especially by the bottle. My husband who is not a fan of Chinese food says he would go back.
All the dishes had their own flavor and none were swimming in a dark soy sauce combo found in many Chinese restaurants.
Most seating was at one long communal table.
The food was OK but I was hoping for something special. It seems they are more concerned with gimmicky presentation (some of which not very attractive and looked more like a school project - e.g. two spring rolls stood up in half a cucumber with some pastry on top and half a cherry tomato to look like a “flower”) then quality and flavour. Service was extremely slow, especially given that we were one of only 2/3 tables. I had messaged when booking a good few days in advance to notify that it would be my wife’s birthday and I would therefore appreciate a small message on a plate saying happy birthday. Whilst they were kind enough to bring out a complimentary dessert they did not write the message and just gave the excuse that there was no room on the plate. Clearly they could have used a larger plate. Overall I would not say it was worth the money and you can get better dim sum/Chinese food in London for the same amount of money if not less.
Good place. Lived up to the hype. The signature dishes were special. Great service. Good cocktails. Go and visit!
Soup Dumplings !
Beautiful food that tasted amazing. Loved the vegetable and peanut dumplings! Restaurant was relaxed and the staff were warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we were sat close to a noisy group with children who seemed to rule the roost! Noisy and a bit irritating but it didn’t take away from the good experience we had. Would go again but would take care of where we were seated in relation to larger groups.
A group of 4 went for the bottomless brunch. The food was incredible and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back again soon.
Great food and great service. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Food presented in a very creative way. Food is top quality
A little NYC in London that lives up to the OG West Village location.
Some interesting and varied dim sum dishes on offer here, plus a nice two-for-one on drinks offer early evening, so I was well fed and watered for not too much money!
It's certainly not cheap, but the food is delicious and creative! I'd highly recommend the "DINGLEY DELL" PORK BELLY and the PORK & CRAB SOUP DUMPLINGS (XIAOLONGBAO). And try all the cocktails, especially if it's happy hour. They played some great tunes and the waiters were more than helpful. Was enjoying the meal so much that I spilt food down my dress (smh!) and the waiter discreetly offered me a complimentary bottle of soda and cloth to help out the stain. Oh and to top it all off, we received a free dessert. What a place! If only all restaurants could have the same service!
