About Refuel at The Soho Hotel – Bar & Restaurant
Set in one of London’s most stylish hotels, The Soho Hotel, REFUEL Bar and Restaurant is in the heart of the West End just moments away from the city’s popular theatres and nightlife. Designed by owner Kit Kemp, REFUELS’s interior is a vibrant mix of colour and contemporary art, including a mural painted by London-born artist Alexander Hollweg, which runs along the entire length of the oak and pewter bar. REFUEL is best known for its British menu with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce. Expect to find dishes such as confit pork belly, miso glaze with Swiss chard and poached cod, clam and parsley sauce. Also boasts one of Soho's best dessert menus with treats like English strawberries, vanilla and mascarpone tart; raspberry and white chocolate crème brûlée and Amaretto and lemon curd. A favourite with the media and creative industries, the bar is always buzzing and offers a wide choice of cocktails and spirits.

Refuel at The Soho Hotel – Bar & Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
As always the food and service was up to the usual high service. Food excellent with the pheasant pie really excellent. Tables far enough away from other guest to make it a private and quiet occasion. One of my favourite places to eat for special occasions.
Had lunch - tried their mixed seafood grill - something they are trying out - this was excellent, good range of fresh fish, perfectly cooked, you just need chips and mix veg on the side - more than enough and very good. The desserts were fabulous, spoilt for choice. Fantastic and friendly service. Great wine - tried a white Tempranillo - unusual but rather good, Had coffee and cocktails in the bar - their version of expresso martini is excellent. Would definitely return, By the way mixed seafood grill is very good value for money
Staff were friendly, attentive and well-informed - and they didn't need reminding that the booking was for my boyfriend's birthday (thus surprising us with a plate of macarons, choc truffles, mixed berries and a birthday candle). For 3 delicious courses, £25 was truly fantastic value - including a glass of excellent wine each. Refuel is also a great atmosphere: cool yet cosy, and near to the venue we were moving onto next for live music (Ronnie Scott's).
I had visited once before for the set menu dinner, and shall certainly return in the future. There was nothing negative to say. Really excellent - well done, Refuel!
The hotel is tucked away in a side street in bustling SOHO. It has a nice modern feel with a large , well stocked bar. The staff were very good - pleasant & efficient. We pre-booked a evening deal of 2 courses plus a glass of wine each for £23 which is good value for central London. The food was great and nicely presented. We both opted for the oxtail croquettes which were delicious. I had the calves liver with creamy polenta which again was really good. My partner had fish cakes which were also great. Nice venue and good food.
I can't recommend this place enough. This is my second time at Refuel and what's not to like. The food is great and reasonably priced. Their set menu is really good value and changes all the time. They have a great cocktail menu and the service is perfect. Our Spanish waiter (sorry can't remember his name) was perfect. The right level of attentiveness but without being in your face. Nice touches at the end with all the little treats, chocolates, macaroons and mini ice-creams. Go, you won't regret it!
Afternoon tea in the library - was absolutely delicious and staff could not have been more attentive yet unobtrusive. The Soho hotel is great for afternoon tea, lunch, pre theatre, film club and Sunday lunch. Always a great treat when I am down in London from Yorkshire. All the staff are always really welcoming with nothing being too much trouble.
Also had a Soho cocktail which was delightful on a dull Monday afternoon.
Great value at the moment as there is 25% off afternoon tea with Opentable -
Went for dinner with a friend as an evening catch up. We ordered food from the set menu which was a decent price for the quality of food. Staff were attentive and polite, great service. Atmosphere is lovely, something I kept praising throughout dinner - would definitely recommend as a place for food and/or drink.
Refuel in the Soho Hotel is a hidden gem offering a chic bar area and spacious restaurant where design is of the highest level. Funcky and colourful wall art with subtle quirky lighting work together to create a great ambiance. The food was delicious particularly our mains of hake and chicken. Staff were extremely attentive and the inclusive wine was of very good quality. Two courses for £16.50 with a glass of wine was a snip!
We will be returning.
