Set in one of London’s most stylish hotels, The Soho Hotel, REFUEL Restaurant is in the heart of the West End just moments away from the city’s popular theatres and nightlife. Designed by owner Kit Kemp, REFUELS’s interior is a vibrant mix of colour and contemporary art, including a mural painted by London-born artist Alexander Hollweg, which runs along the entire length of the oak and pewter bar. REFUEL is best known for its British menu with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce. Expect to find dishes such as confit pork belly, miso glaze with Swiss chard and poached cod, clam and parsley sauce. Skate... Over salted Service... Loooooong wait between starter and main course. My colleague thought it was nearly 30 mins. Our table service staff were friendly enough. Lots of staff rushing around. We had full view of the chaotic kitchen. Gordon Ramsey needs to make a visit. Disappointed as we were looking forward to sampling both the Set Menu and the Al la Carte.... and then to compare. The overall experience did not warrant the £127 value.

A big thanks and commendation again to Adam who really looked after us by providing excellent service. He is very knowledgeable, courteous and pays attention to detail. This was our second time at the Refuel Restaurant and we will definitely return for a third time.

Excellent customer service. My granddaughter spilt Lemonade all over herself. The staff lent her a robe and dried her clothes for us. Then came to the table with a birthday cake and sung happy birthday. Its was lovely. The hotel is beautiful and the food was great. We'd go again. The Wizard of Oz afternoon tea was epic!

We visited for lunch. The service was slow, but pleasant. The food was OK but I thought it was very expensive in terms of both quality and quantity. The pea hummus was more like mushy peas; the "heritage" tomatoes looked to be straight out of Tescos; the bread serving was stingy and the chips were cold....the smoked salmon (at £24!) was nice though..... Pleasant enough, but I wouldn't rush back.....

The restaurant didn't deliver on quality of food and cocktails. The classic cocktails were 'off' the usual taste and also portions smaller than average. The linguine with crab was tastless and grossly overpriced. Starters were super small. In amongst them, what claimed to be a 'burrata' was, in fact, mozzarella, and its combination with peaches and beans was not right...Red mullet was on a bed of something very sour. All in all, a very disappointing and grossly overpaid experience. The service was good, no complaints there

Food was amazing, delicious and visually appealing. The waiters were so friendly and cheerful. They worked briskly, efficiently and were attentive without being intrusive. Tables were well spaced with lovely linen and tableware. The atmosphere was so relaxing that we could have stayed even longer.

Refuel is a very nicely laid out and furnished restaurant in the very heart of Soho. The restaurant was very quiet (maybe because it was Thursday) - we went for a post theatre dinner and the special menu was excellent.

The wizard of Oz tea was brilliant. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Well worth the cost. If you're new to tea, let this one your first experience. Let them know you've never tried it before. If you're a seasoned tea expert, you'll love it.

The Soho always gives great service & the staff are attentive without being overbearing. The decor is quirky & there is lots to look at. Afternoon tea is always a treat & the menu changes enough to make it interesting to come back time & time again. This is my ‘go to’ place for catching up with friends & family. Loved the menu. But we weren’t offered the set menu on arrival. We had to ask for it. That was uncomfortable. Waiter service was very good after that. Food was tasty and plentiful. Overall bill was still a little expensive.

This has to be the number one oasis in the fun madness of Soho. The staff are trained so well, and the food is exceptional. We relaxed so much we didn't want to leave, which meant more champagne and desserts! Thank you, guys! Back to the gym for me now....

Randomly chose this restaurant on our first night in London. What a find. From the decor and overly inviting ambiance, it was a delight. Our server was sweat and adorable. Attentive and friendly and happy to be. The food was outstanding from our starters to the mains. It’s high on our list for a repeat visit when we return in a few months.

The afternoon tea was very disappointing as the food was a low standard for an ‘experience’. The bread on some of the finger sandwiches was hard implying they were not fresh. The cakes were also bland and not fresh apart from the scones. I didn’t complain as it was my birthday and I had organised the get together for 6 people. The service was friendly and the cocktails were great but at £100 per person they can do much better.
