We turned up slightly late but the staff showed us right to our table.

Although they were very busy service was quick and personal and the food was excellent. Will most definitely be returning soon!

Booked and asked for a particular area of the restaurant. Arrived ontime and we were guided to a table next to the toilets ..... we didn't stay, neither will we ever return.

Great food as usual, we visited on Tuesday early December and was busy but not with Christmas parties. This was good as we were celebrating a birthday.

Excellent food great staff and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Wife’s birthday and we had never been here before but would highly recommend. Already booked to go back.

We were disappointed, despite arriving on time for our booking, to be told our table was not ready and to have a drink at the bar beforehand. We were seated a few moments later at a table which had been empty and set when we walked in. Otherwise, service was a little slow, but we put this down to it being a very busy night.

I not only highly recommend, but will definitely be returning here again.

On my last visit, my party were late arriving and so understanbly lost our original table, despite it being a very busy evening both the kitchen and front of house put great effort into accommodating us and despite a little wait for us, we all had a fantastic evening with the best food imaginable; they're the best!

It is a good restaurant. The food was good but not worth the price. The service was ok but all server’s attitude was like they would rather be at home with their feet up. I would not go again. Can get better service and food for price at Frankie And Bennys.

A lovely place to spend an evening with good food, atmosphere and service. The only criticism I have, I ordered a rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce, this sauce very often comes in a little jug so that the customer can add as much as is required. Mine came drowned in peppercorn sauce which was very strong tasting and overpowered the flavour of the steak.

Amazing food, very quick service, was busy even for a Tuesday night so would recommend booking even if mid week. The food looked like something from Masterchef and tasted amazing. Loved it and will definitely return.

Out for a Sunday lunch with family and a special Birthday occasion for one of my Grandsons! No question where to go especially if you like a Sunday Roast. Fantastic!!!

Our dining experience was made all the better by our lovely waitress whose name if I remember correctly was Ana. She was very friendly, cheerful and accommodating. We took guests with us and they were similarly impressed which pleased us enormously. Thank you.

Excellent all round , attentive service and carefully designed menus and attention to detail with food preparation and presentation, lovely ambience in a character building , super staff who clearly enjoy working in a successful restaurant. The separate bar area is a stylish bonus.

We went for my wifes birthday, it was a party of 5, three teens/20's and 2 older. We had a drink in the upstairs bar first, good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Our table had lots of room, not cramped in at all. Service was excellent, sadley I didn't get our two waiters names, but they were both excellent. The specials board was explained in detail and the knowledge of both food and drinks was very good. Waiting times were good, food was excellent, good size portions for all courses. The bil was actually pretty good, it's not a cheap restaurant, but I came away thinking we had got really good value for the money we spent. Atmosphere was lovely, the staff clearly enjoy spending time with the guests to explain the menus, drinks and the "ethos" if the service there...a brilliant meal out, well done .

Table for 2 was on first floor next to stairs so was always busy with staff and other diners walking past and up and down the stairs which was a bit distracting however I guess as we booked late could not complain about that.

Lovely friendly restaurant, reasonably expensive but worth it. Portion size just right. Table are quite close together and can be a bit noisy but no more than most restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place and will be making a return visit.

Superb food, very well presented. Wonderful menu. Staff very attentive and professional. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Me and my boyfriend recently went here on a date night and it exceeded our expectations. Love the bar and strawberry daiquiris were the best! Starter and mains were good and a decent portion (no room left for dessert). Will definitely be returning soon, thank you for a very relaxing and pleasant evening!

Absolutely fantastic place! It was our anniversary and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Fab staff, amazing ambience foot was delicious and so were the cocktails!

Great Sunday Lunch. Great Soup. Good Roast. Unusual Tiramisu..

My husband and I took my mother her for a meal on Friday night and it was the best meal ever, my mum is still raving about it now! The service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere.

It was Saturday evening so it was busy, we normally go mid week when it is quieter.
Still it is a very good and consistent restaurant.

Really disappointed to be honest booked for 2 birthdays were kept 45 mins waiting for table. One meal was served wrong and by the time reserved everyone else had finished and was starting to leave. Service was not the greatest and certainly was really not happy considering the place has such good reviews. Dont think I will visit again

Excellent restaurant, we have eaten here before and loved it. Always a great atmosphere and excellent service. The food this time slightly let them down, my partner could not eat her meal as it was far too hot and swimming in oil / butter. They did take it off the bill for us, but it's just disappointing as we wouldn't expect it from this restaurant. We had a lovely night and will go back but the food this time wasn't up to the normal exceptionally high standard hence the 4 star rather than 5.

I would recommend but not on a Friday when it was so busy and I think the service suffered because of this. Food was not as good as I've experienced in the past

Very enjoyable luncheon. Good all round ambience and service. I come here about twice a year having to drive for 40 mins to get to Botley.

This is my third visit to this restaurant. Each time we have had the set lunch menu which is very good value. The ambiance is very relaxing and the staff are friendly yet professional. Also, it’s a good place to go to practice your Italian!
