Great food, and great service and attention to all details. A wonderful dining experience, with a beautiful view of the river. Ask for a table by the river.
Very good location for ICC. Food was delicious with the location overlooking the canal was picturesque The ambience was relaxed and friendly
Good views of the Canal. Food was good, especially enjoyed the pickles with the poppadums. Staff were courteous and attentive without being in your face. Price was good. Would go again if I was in the area.
Excellent food again, great location, good level of service.
Excellent evening, brilliant food, excellent service and ambience, the best meals on our five day trip to Birmingham, highly recommend this restaurant, in a vibrant area of Broad street
Great service, great food, great view of the canal snd lively Broad street
Easy online booking. Delicious food and fast service. Perfect location for any event at symphony hall and expedited our order so we were finished in time for 8pm show. Strongly recommended.
The best service and wonderful and friendly staff and well done for 18 years amazing food and drink. My regular place. Well done and keep doing what you enjoy but wishes for your families and customers regulars and new and their families
Beers are pints and not for an Indian restaurant small bottled beers. The service is excellent and the food delicious! I have to come back
Excellent restaurant, great food, super service. Looking forward to a return visit.
Amazing food, presented beautifully. Excellent service by all staff
Very nice restaurant with Good food served by good staff
Very nice meal, very nice waiters. Overall very good
Nice clean restaurant, nice food can’t find any fault in it really , staff was nice and friendly
Great location, excellent food, friendly service and reasonable pricing.
A really good meal.
Excellent venue and staff was very professional and friendly and helpful
Best Indian in Birmingham. Service was good, but could do with a bit of perking up. It’s serving food in a restaurant, not at a funeral.
Nice enough, food was good and price was reasonable
service first class
very good value for money
will definately be booking soon again
Although I live near Cambridge I have been dining at the Barajee for the past 12 years when ever in Birmingham for work. It didn't matter if I am dining alone or with others, the service is always very friendly and efficient. The food is in my view first class. The menu is also reasonably priced.
Booked in for a bite after a show, as did half the people at the show so the restaurant was very busy very quickly and they coped perfectly. Great service (bit slow) and fabulous food. Will definately be going back.
Attended recently for a business team meeting as a party of 9. Initial impressions on booking were good as a telephone call was received to confirm the booking when it was made and also a follow up on the day.
We arrived on time for a 1945 meal start and it took over 20 mins to be asked for drinks,30 mins for our order to be taken and an hour for starters to appear. The main meal took overt 2 hours to arrive. The table was clearly too small for all of us and we asked for an alternative table or one to be added and this didn't seem to be appreciated as reasonable by the waiter or manager.
The room was busy but not too busy for the kitchen or staff to accommodate the number of diners there.
The food was as expected for an Indian restaurant in Birmingham and of reasonable quality but nothing special.
There are many places to go to in Birmingham centre around this area and the reflection of my colleagues who went was its almost there in terms of quality of food but the service needs a good look at.
Good location with fantastic views over Birmingham canals. Great food and excellent service. Tables well spread out added to the ambience. A very enjoyable evening.
We went after a Symphony Hall concert, arriving at 10.00. Although it was late we did not feel at any time that we were being hurried. There was a noisy group at one end but we were given a table well away from them overlooking the canal. The service was excellent, the food good, with some dishes which were new to us. It was nicely spiced though not perhaps as hot (chilli hot) as we might have liked - it was a cold evening!
Very convenient for the concert hall and very reasonably priced for its location.
If visiting here you must book in advance as it gets extremely busy. Went here on Sat night n arrived early for our booked table by around 20 mins. We did ask the staff member if the table would be ready n he advised us one moment, we were at this point deciding to pop to bar next door n come back at the relevant time. For the next ten mins it was hard to get anyone's attention n then we were handed drinks menu, by this time it was too late to go anywhere else. We were seen to our seats at the booked time n then our drinks order was taken, I asked for a large rose but a medium arrived?? When mentioned this to the staff member he just smiled at me?? The starter n main came in an orderly fashion. I had prawn puri which was nice but not spicy enough. And for the main I had veg balti, which was tasty but didn't have much assortment of vegetables, I could only see potatoes, onions in there which was a shame. Upon paying, my friend n I split the bill, I paid by card n she paid by cash, she didn't have the exact money n we soon realised the staff member wasn't going to return with the change.
Overall the experience was very average, it's a shame really as I was holding out for a good experience considering some of the previous reviews n how busy the place was.
Delicious food and great service.
