hand-crafted fresh pasta and small plates of Italian bites alongside
innovative Grappa-based cocktails. We take inspiration from Italian
tradition but give all of our dishes a Morso twist. All of our food is
served in small portions allowing our guests to discover a variety of
styles in one meal. On the bar front, we chose Grappa as our champion
spirit. Distilled from wine pomace, Grappa is a superlative drink and
highly versatile. We use it in all of our cocktails, revisiting some old
classics, alongside our own house-potions. We invite you all to join us
for a meal and to take part in the #grapparevolution

Love this restaurant-delicious food and fabulous staff
Perfect place , incredible service , top notch food , quality ingredients , very good selection of wines and Grappa ! Can’t wait to go back
A disgrace. I am italian and this is miles away from anything italian. Very poor food, below average pasta, and cold. They brought us a bottle of wine already opened by mistake at a nearby table, without telling anything. I had to tell them I saw what they did.
A jewel in a quieter part of St Johns Wood. Only if you know or have stumbled across it will you understand this.
I could have been back in Bologna. Need I say more....
Recommended by a friend my wife and I decided to try it for Sunday lunch.Obviously not your traditional English lunch but lots of wonderful small plates to start. Each of them was delicious. Full of flavour and really nicely presented.
Main courses were all pasta (Slightly disappointed about that) but the two dishes that my wife and I had were both excellent.
Wonderful friendly staff. We will definitely try it again during the week for dinner.
Fantastic restaurant, really high quality food and lovely place with local feel to it. Highly recommend
Fun and tasty Italian tapas starters (3 shared) and pasta mains each perfect for me, but perhaps my husband should have ordered a double pasta portion. 4 starters next time. Otherwise a lovely evening and perfect food, just love love love the arancini!
Really delicious food-very tasty
Great local restaurant with lovely service
Small plates to share-all delicious
A restaurant that genuinely believes in hospitality. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, beautifully balanced flavours, a small, well-chosen wine list and many, many grappa.
Very relaxed as always, even though they were quite busy. I’ve been several times before so know the menu quite well and enjoy all the food. There is not a huge range in food or wine (though an impressive selection of Grappa) but it is a small downside as the standard is always so good.
What a wonderful experience - the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic and so welcoming!
Excellent food service. We have been twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed it each time.
Amazing Italian tapas style restaurant. The best Italian in the area
Fantastic experience. Great food and great service. Thank you Giuseppe for making some excellent recommendations!
Really lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Great staff, very friendly. Dining room was a little chilly, but other than that no other complaints!
Incredible little gem of a restaurant. Our first time there and we cannot wait to be back. Authentic Italian cuisine. Some of the best pasta and fish I have ever tasted in London. Outstanding service, good portions to share as ‘tapas style’ between the table, fabulous wine and incredible value for money.
Thank you team Morso, we shall see you soon!
Great food, drinks and service. Would happily go again and recommend.
We love it, charming service, great food and extremely good value
An unique restaurant particularly if you enjoy grappa and genuine Italian food. Excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend
I love the tapas-style portions! And the menu features all my favourite pastas so I can indulge in at least a few of them at once! The beef carpaccio is also delicious. Really friendly and efficient service. This is a great neighbourhood gem for us.
Really enjoyed our dinner. Staff were very welcoming and food was excellent. But if you plan to eat a lot, this restaurant is about quality, not quantity!
Delicious food, attentive and friendly service. Unpretentious. One of my favorites!
Took my mum here for her birthday and, being Italians ourselves, the food, service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding
Loved this place. Food was awesome. Dishes are delivered at a perfect pace. It’s kind of like an Italian tapas/mezze with a number of smaller dishes to choose from. I’ve been to many tapas places where they bring several dishes out at once. Not the case here, where they get you started with some bread and slowly bring out additional dishes you’ve ordered finishing with the main event, the pasta dish. This is how this kind of dining should be done imho.
Occasion was my wife’s 40th which I mentioned on my booking and all staff wished her a happy birthday and brought out a birthday surprise for dessert. Nice touch and much appreciated.
Also worth mentioning that we were a little late for our reservation as was driving down from Bristol. I called ahead and was told not to worry and it is no issue. Appreciate the flexibility as the restaurant was clearly fully booked.
Would happily dine here again - many thanks!
Delicious food. Very quiet at lunchtime which as fine for us. We wanted to chat!
Lovely waiter who helped us
A little loud as it was busy . But then it should be busy as the food is so good
Not a huge selection if you don’t eat pork or shellfish but what we did have was delicious 👍🏼
Our first visit and we were very impressed. The owner and the staff are charming, friendly. The sharing starters were outstanding - delicious.
Our pasta dishes were so delicious but my only criticism was that the sauce in the Tagliatelle cacio e pepe is very rich / cheesy. Bit too rich for me, however I managed to clean my plate
Looking forward to returning... little gem
Hey EmmaG, Thank you so much for your delicious feedback! Look forward to having you back! Best,
The food was delicious. The torta caprese is just so good and not too sweet. Loved the maltagliati.
Hey SaraW! Thanks for the lovely review! Best,
Thank you belsizediner!
Morso is a lovely, unusual restaurant - though what makes it truly special is the charm of the staff, who are uniformly friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent too - although one needs to order quite a few dishes in order to fill up, so it tends not be cheap. Still - it's a great idea, and provides a thoroughly enjoyable night out.
Dear Stevenl, Thank you so much for taking the time to write us this lovely review, we put real effort into ensuring our staff delivers the most personable and adequate service we can offer. All the best,
Fantastic food and extremely polite and helpful staff!
Thank you so much StefanosM
No atmosphere expensive very small portions
Disappointing as highly recommended
I'm genuinely sorry to read you didn't find in Morso the experience that you were expecting to. We take pride in serving small bites of delicious food but understand it isn't to everybody's taste. I'd be interested to learn what in the atmosphere was lacking so that we can take your points on and improve Morso. Please email your thoughts to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, Thank you
The most stunning pasta ever
Thank you very much LouiseN!
Real authentic food. Excellent and very attentive service especially from the bar man
Thank you for your feedback and kind words DavidV
Awesome food, very nice service and one of the most delicious Tiramisu I have ever tried!
Thank you for the great comments MalteM
Have been three times and have booked to go again! That says it all!
We also think it does! Thank you for your loyalty and love mossina!
Very tasty food and amazing service
Thank you so so much!
Great food in an interesting small plate format. Food was delicious, service outstanding and great ambiance. Packed on a Tuesday evening in November. Great neighborhood spot.
Thank you VickyC! So glad to see how much you've enjoyed your visit!
Morso is one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The menu changes seasonally, and the selection is varied without being so large that quality is compromised. The staff are genuinely interested and interesting. Service is superb, attentive, discrete, and unpretentious. They are opening a second Morso in Kensal Rise. If it is half as good as the one on Boundary Rd., it will be a huge success.
Dear Nemo! Thank you ever so much for this great feedback. Please keep the love coming!
