Recommend pay attention to see how out of dozens of paellas kitchens, one of the typical dishes of this restaurant famous for its fish products and fresh and high quality seafood . Kitchens with full steam, thirty waiters compete to give the best service to customers dozens of tables. A ritual in "SALAMANCA" not to be missed.
SALAMANCA Restaurant is typical to see famous in the world of sport, film, song , eating with tourists from all countries of the world and families of Barcelona, who know where the best city paellas are cooked .
In SALAMANCA they are also famous for its Iberian hams and sausages, from the very province of Salamanca and excellent meats.
First trip to Barcelona, and Salamanca was suggested by friends. I think we were expecting more out of the food. However, food was decent, service was very good...our waiter was especially kind and accommodating to our children. Glad to have experienced such a popular restaurant, but probably would try somewhere else in the future.
The best place to enjoy the flavors of sea!
They ask for tip; food too large and a little over priced, not stylish
Had the salmon and vegetarian paella - soo good!! Service was great and Latifa was very attentive and professional. Fish was fresh and displayed outside the entrance. Great time!!
The place is lovely outdoors. The food is great. However the place was very busy so the service wasn’t the best. I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you want to have authentic paella!
Will go back again. As expected.
Superb. Lovely atmosphere, great service.
Expensive but awesome Spanish food. Best paella I ever had
We ordered the parillada de mariscos. The fish wasn't very fresh and the mejillones had been cooked previously and we're dry. They forgot the almejas and some other shellfish but when queried they gave us a few almejas at the end which were very fresh but highlighted the lower standard of what we'd just eaten. When we ordered the food they asked us our nationality for some reason. ... Halfway through the meal there was a row goung on in the kitchen which did affect the atmosphere a bit. Ive eaten here before years ago but it now seems to be a tourist trap and a bit over priced. A shame really..
Las paellas estan super bienas y ricas. Buena atencion al cliente... que en Barcelona no es habitual! Y siempre te regalan el chupito de arguardiente ;-)
I wanted to like this place more, given the cute location and the attentive staff. However, my " ceviche " appetizer consisted of cold pieces of cod on a bed of sliced raw veggies. Um, what? And my supposed sole meunière was served fried in a mysterious brown sauce, with a side of mushy boiled vegetables. The desserts were the only thing they got right: tiramisu and and ice cream thing. Disappointing. They also tried to pull both the "unsolicited bread on the table" and the "add tip to your bill" ploys.
