I have been to Reverie many times and it's always amazing!! Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto!
The food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I would recommend this place to a friend. The only thing that we found was the plates were very small for the price point.
Last minute dinner reservation at the bar. Great service by Eleni. Delicious freestyle old fashioned😊
We really enjoyed the suggested small plates—the beef tartare was off the hook! Perfectly balanced. And the grilled octopus with accompanying sauce was really fresh and well presented.
Nice looking space, good food. Go there, you will be happy you did!
Our first time there was very impressed. Definitely a must to order the smoked beef tartare! Will be back!!
Unfortunately as cool atmosphere was and good food was I found it very pricey. Didnt feel the atmosphere meshed with the expensive good and was disappointed that it wasnt really vibing with many people at all for a Saturday night.
Wonderful experience. Service staff went above and beyond. Food was delicious- black garlic tagliatelle is life changing
Great menu and cocktails. Loved the option to have personalized cocktails to suit your taste. Ambiance was great. We had a new server who seemed a bit overwhelmed and inexperienced (no knives, no plate change between courses, no wine glass refills when bottle was purchased). Cocktail bartender (Aleni) is amazing and keeps us coming back!
We had a great time overall, enjoyed our mean and they accommodated all of our dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free requirements among us). Would have been nice to have the options clearly marked on the menu for ease of ordering, but everything was delicious and devoured. Will return.
It was quite loud so it made it difficult to carry a conversation
Food was amazing and the staff were great. A hidden gem!
Exquisite menu items, artfully made and presented dishes- symphony of taste!
This place blew my mind. The flavours were incredibly refined. Custom-made cocktails were inspired and delicious. Incredible ambiance and great staff. Highly recommended.
Some very interesting dishes which are designed to share, but the portion sizes are quite variable. For example the brussels sprouts were plenty for five people, but the other dishes a little on the small side. The boar on a skewer was one tiny cube of very fatty pork (this dish was not designed to share). Overall we enjoyed the different food, especially the octopus, and the atmosphere was funky and interesting. The stairs to the washrooms are extremely dark and seemed quite dangerous for my elderly sister.
I came for my boyfriend's birthday and we had a wonderful time. The food was great. I couldn't get enough of the Brussels sprouts
Been here plenty of times before & plan on coming many more...Eleni & Hugh were amazing behind the bar with their wonderful freestyle creations. The food was amazing as well & loved the new additions to the menu that just came out. Also, no matter how busy the restaurant got, I never felt like I was unattended in any way with the servers & bartenders being on top of any possible need or desire. Can't wait for the next time I can come back & eat again.
This is the most adorable restaurant ever. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was quiet but still had a nice buzz. We tried almost everything on the menu and it was all fantastic - interesting, tasty and beautiful to look at. Everyone working there was welcoming and friendly. The cocktails were served in delightful glasses and the only problem with them is that they are too delicious! It was a perfect night out and I can't wait to go back.
Our waitress was very friendly and informative about the food and drinks. Speaking of drinks the cocktails are really tasty.
Overall the place was ok. Very unique decor, food was good, the restaurant had a weird smell and the wine glasses smelled like dirty rags. The waiter was happy to get us a new glass. Service was excellent and some interesting dishes. The vents on the ceiling appeared to be never cleaned.
Love Hugh & Eleni behind the bar, their creative minds are amazing when it comes to the freestyle cocktails. The food is always delicious & you'll want to eat your way through the entire menu by the end of the night.
Sat at the bar, the bartender & server were both amazing & I loved the 'freestyle' option on the cocktail menu, you just give them your preferred spirit choice & let them make something magical. Definitely plan on going back here as often as I can.
What can I say. Wow!!!!!!
It was an amazing experience from being greeted, to seated, to food, to service, to drinks, to a mouth full of wonderful taste and to the presentation of food by the chef. They nailed every expectation. We will definitely go back many more times and we definitely recommend it.
Incredible dinner at Reverie at the Park. A very special place.
Best service I’ve had in Toronto. And the food and cocktails were delicious!
Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in Toronto. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The lamb chops in particular were some of the best I ever had. The meat was seasoned perfectly and cooked very evenly. The cocktails were also very good. I asked the waiter to make a cocktail for me based on flavors I like and they nailed it.
While the service was lovely, this was a bit of a disappointing experience overall. I imagine the atmosphere would have been nice had the restaurant been full but we were the only ones and the strangest music was playing, leaving us feeling a bit off. As for the food, I thought there were a lot of great ideas where I could kind of see what they were trying to do, but the execution often fell flat. That being said, everything was plated in a lovely way.
Here's what we got:
Oysters: Horseradish foam and jellied mignoette. The jellied mignoette really threw us off because we love raw oysters but the texture of the tapioca like balls overpowered the oyster.
Rapini: The rapini was cold and heavily charred, which makes me think the temperature was not intentional. The dish was also heavily seasoned with tuna flakes and other asian spices, and made the whole thing incredibly fishy. I was most confused by this dish. (We are also not people that are offput by fishy foods!)
Gnocchi: Middling. It was fried gnocchi, didn't really get a ton of crunch, but I did like the sauce. Wish there were meatier chunks of portabello
Boar: Best dish we had. Loved dipping it in the most flavourful pea puree. It was salty, and smokey, and that delicious kind of warm that fills your soul. Wish everything else was better so I had a reason to go back
Drinks: We got an old fashioned and something with earl-grey tea flavouring, ginger, and bourbon. Super cheap. I think this is the restaurant's MO. 3oz and 4oz drinks for ~$15 each, and you couldn't really 'taste' the alcohol in the way some bartenders try to lay it on. Well done.
Food was spectacular! Service is second to none, and our waiter was so helpful in suggesting items! I will definitely return!!
Outstanding food, service and ambience. It’s definitely on my favorites list.
I booked for an office meeting and didn’t realize that dishes were served for sharing. Wasn’t particularly appropriate given the group. The food was very good and the drinks were excellent but I wish it had been clearer from the start that there were no individual entrees.
Fantastic meal - we rarely eat in the same place twice, but Reverie had us back within 6 months. Get the chef's selection from the bottom of the menu - you won't be disappointed.
Also try the Aura Tea but go easy! They're something special. And expensive :)
I took my boyfriend here for his bday and everything was perfect. The food was amazing, highly recommend the gnocchi and wild boar. The cocktails were different but delicious and I loved how the bar would also just create you something based off what you like and in the mood for.
The restaurant did get a bit noisy as the night went on (we went on a Friday evening) and it was a bit dark for a restaurant.
Service was great and the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely go back again.
The atmosphere is great. Whether your trying cocktails at the bar or sitting down for some incredible food, this is definitely the spot.
Loved it. It’s a great spot and will come back.
Aiden was incredible. Choose a craft cocktail and go off the menu. The tartar is a must have, as was the broccolini salad.
The food was fantastic. I thought the service was good, however we needed to repeat part of our order as it was not entered. Another staff member helped us out and overall it was an excellent experience. The only issue was that there were a number of staff attending to us so it was hard who to know who to ask for things. Great place, would recommend if you are looking for an interesting eating experience. Great food.
Loved every single moment of being there. The service, the food, the ambiance. Everything was just perfect!
A great experience, custom service and wonderfully unique food (and custom drinks!!!) in a good way. Our table of 8 all enjoyed the evening. Probably the nicest place I can think of to celebrate a special occasion. I can't wait to go back.
Creative flavourful food and nicely presented. Portions on the small side. Servers know their stuff and can answer menu questions easily. Fun decor. But wine list is limited with higher pricing than is warranted.
Food and ambiance was amazing. I really enjoyed the food that I am commend back next week with my friend
Tastes and textures unparalleled in this world. The bar and kitchen staff are really cool and know how to get you something you've never tried before.
If you don't go to this place, you are missing out and are not really living your life to the fullest. Like, what are you even doing right now reading this? GO!
The establishment was received to me as eclectic. I would describe it as trying to be eclectic. I think they've gotten a little carried away with their smoke gun too. I will say that the service was great though. The octopus was amazing and so was the cheese plate.
