   The wait staff just made us feel rushed when it came to ordering food and then rushed again towards the end. We had the table booked till 1pm and at 12.30 we were reminded that we have the table till 1pm twice. Then it was very much bill and keep checking if we were ok even with 15 mins left on table. Wasn’t really impressed.

   Love this place. Lovely food and great ambience and usually good service. Last night the service was poor. Whilst the waiter was excellent, we had to wait over an hour for our starter.

   I come here quite a bit! Usually love my experience however this time I had to wait for about 35 minutes just for some milk for my coffee - I asked three waiters three times for the milk and it didn’t come, only when the food came I got the milk by that time my coffee was cold

   Had better experiences here in the past. Much prefer the brunch menu to lunch/dinner.

Unfortunately our Brunch menu is only available Saturday and Sunday from 9am till 4pm. However we have our breakfast menu available Monday to Friday from 8:30am till 11:45pm after which our Lunch menu begins at 12.     A great little spot tucked away just behind Oxford Circus and yet a million miles away. A great restaurant with interesting food combinations without being fussy. The wine list is slightly pricey but otherwise good value.

    Great venue and really lovely staff. Disappointing table was not ready on arrival despite booking but it was sorted pretty quickly. Was charged for chips we didn't order and accidentally delivered to our table but they nice so didn't mind! Birds and Bees gin cocktail is delicious as we're the skewers.

    we sat outside and had to wait for ages to be able to order anything as the waiters did not pay much attention/werent around often. The smashed avocado was on burnt toast unfortunately - so was not the best

    Service was a little slow for 10am on a Sunday. Coffee came after food arrived. Service was good but no great conversation or warmth whatsoever. For the price, was ok. The saving grace is the ambience. Slightly disappointing as I’ve been dining here over a number of years and this particular morning was rather special for me and my guest, but c’est la vie.

    Always enjoy our time here. We sat outside under a powerful heater and had a really lovely meal. The service and the vibe were great, such a cool place to sit and watch the world go by.

    I absolutely LOVE the Rising House. it’s a go-to for work lunches, coffee meetings and drinks (quiet and noisy). Food and drinks are great (quality, choice and value). And there is a great energy between the staff and it shows in the way they welcome customers. Service is always brisk, attentive and chirpy. You have cracked the winner formula.

    Sadly only 1 ladies’ WC working so long queues in a very small space. No one apologised nor was the disabled facility suggested. Don’t add charity donations to the bill. If you want to make these, don’t pass in to customers!

    Hi Elizabeth, I am terribly sorry to hear that your experience wasn't up to scratch. Unfortunately the day you visited we had some plumbing issues so were forced to close 2 of the cubicles. We have now fixed this issue so I apologise for any inconvenience it caused during your visit to us. We are currently raising money for an incredible charity called Spread a Smile who provide entertainment and experiences for terminally ill children, a small donation of 25p is added to all bills and is completely discretionary so I do hope when you raised this with your server they removed it.     Perfect place for a weekend brunch. Visiting London and wanted somewhere with good food and reasonable (London) prices. After a trawl on the internet, decided upon this place and so glad we did. The vegetarian breakfast, juices and coffee were all excellent. The both the staff and ambience are welcoming. The staff were helpful, polite and attentive throughout our visit. If I'm in London anytime soon, wouldn't hesitate to return.

    The staff were very accommodating regarding our seating and were pleasant enough but service overall was fine, nothing outstanding. The food was good, again nothing special. My meal was served on a plate with multiple chips out of the edge - this is not acceptable and bad hygiene. Coffee order was forgotten. Otherwise, I would return but it wouldn’t be top of my list.     We ordered the miso salmon with a side salad and avocado followed by the hot fudge sundae. All the food was delicious and good value. Staff were extremely friendly but service a little slow. The restaurant had a great vibe but high noise levels - so difficult to have a conversation.

    The food is amazing, we all had the beef Wellington and and was superb. But most of all, the service was outstanding, glorious. Andre is a hell of a nice guy and made us feel extremely welcome.
