Excellent food and service. Smoked catfish was delicious and those who ordered steaks were very pleased! We would definitely come here again.
Fun atmosphere - great food. Server was poor. She forgot our salads, we had to remind her quite a bit about things we had requested and then had to track down someone to pay the bill at the end.
Was an alright experience. Biggest issue was my wife ordered the filet and lobster. Asking for it to be cooked medium+. Came out rare sent it back for a reheat and came back just as rare. We ended up swapping steaks. I had the bone-in ribeye, which was great, but a tad over cooked for my medium preference which was perfect for her. A steak house of this price shouldn’t have an issue cooking steaks to your desired temperature.
It was fine about what I expected. Not as good as h3 but just as expensive with worse ambiance...
Did not cook steak correctly. Customer Service was bad. Did not offer to take care of issues.
The steaks and baked potatos were very good. But this is not a table cloth place.
My wife and I were looking for an excuse to try Risckey's Steakhouse and got the opportunity when some family members visited the area for the first time last week. We spent the afternoon being Stockyard tourists and finished the night at Risckey's for dinner. We all had the filet steak with various add ons and sides. Everyone was impressed with the food, service by Donald, and the ambiance of the "old west". The price was right for a group of four especially considering the just right portions! We will be back soon!
The food was great. Our server was terrible. So slow and forgot to put some of our order in. We were there for almost 2 hours! It's a beautiful place and the food was great! I would recommend going and would go again but I'd definitely ask for a different server.
It is one of the best steaks in Fort Worth. We’ve been all over Fort Worth for dinner. No one has been better. The selection is perfect for us. No where else has calf fries and escargot on the appetizer menu. Two of our favorite things. And both are as good or better than anyone and I’ve had both for years! The staff is friendly and eager to make you have a great experience. If the lightning was less bright I’d like the ambiance better for a special evening. We will continue to dine there. We have never been served a bad meal at Riskys and I cannot say that about any other steakhouse in town. We have also been treated excellent by the staff every time. I can’t say that about any other steakhouse either. It is consistent.
Very good food, great service, we had a really great time. Thank you to all at Riscky's!
It was great but they ran out of carrot cake on Valentines Day before 7 pm
Great steak dinner on Valentine's Day. Service was excellent and food was perfectly cooked. Cocktails excellent as well. Highly recommend if you're down in the FW Stockyards.
Very few people in restaurant
Slow service multiple servers
Untimely delivery of food. Nothing at the same time
Won’t be back
Old, stale place. Kapusta soup is awful. Tastes like ketchup and sauerkraut. Broccoli was flavorless. Pecan pie was awful. It was microwaved so long it was too hot to eat. On the menu pecan pie was listed $6.99 and pecan pie with ice cream was listed $6.99. They charged us $7.99 for pecan pie and ice cream.
Risky was awesome, we all particularly enjoyed the Calf Fries!!
Great food and great service. Our server, Olivia, was lovely and attentive at just the pace so that we never felt rushed to eat.
Good food. Large portions, even on the lunch menu. Server was super friendly and attentive.
Dined with my mom and aunt from out of town after the longhorns. The restaurant was slammed and they did not put us down as having dined, currently disputing. We all ate the filet, my husband’s came fully cooked instead of medium and they were nice to Comp him. We were starving and he did not want to wait for a new steak. Would go back.
Anniversary and out of town friends!
Excellent service, friendly staff.
Try the Calf Fries, they're pretty good!
Food overall very good. The big back dining room not much as far a ambiance. Food comes out quick so tell them not to rush it if you're not in a hurry.
Really pretty disappointed in the service and food. Husband got the pork chops and was never asked how he wanted them and they were very dry
Our server was really busy with a lot of tables to serve so we had to wait longer to be helped. It took about 40 minutes to get our food.
The food was excellent. If you get a salad I recommend the in house made Italian dressing. And our Shay was awesome!
Awesome service very good food. Would definitely recommend!
Loved this historic place. We had a generous cup of Kapusta soup, the salmon and Godiva cheesecake. They were all so good. Shay, our server, was personable but non-intrusive. We are definitely going back and soon.
Had good reviews but we weren’t impressed with the food. The shrimp cocktail was still a little driven and the steak was just ok. Expected more from a stockyards steakhouse.
Food was great except the steak was too salty
This was our first time here and we are looking forward to our next trip. Great atmosphere and even better food and service was top notch.
We finally tried Riscky’s after many trips to The Stockyards and we have not been missing out. Our server was trying but he seemed to be working alone so service was slow and we had a 4 year old with us so slow service is a real bummer. After an hour we got our entrees and they were such a letdown. I got the Stockyards Special and I’m not even sure how it’s possible to make steak with mushrooms and onions taste like nothing but they did it. My husband said the ribs he got where the worst he’s ever had. If you are into slow service and food without flavor this is the place for you! If not treat yourself to dinner anywhere else! I’d recommend H3 across the street or Horseshoe Hill Cafe 2 blocks up the hill. Had meals at both places this past weekend as well with a 7 year old and 4 year old and service was better, food was beyond better and prices are similar.
food was not as i has remembered from previous experience. Wife was not able to eat any of her selection
I was expecting a lot more than what was delivered. This place had a 4.5 star rating on OpenTable. I do not know why. The food was mediocre in quality and flavor. The wine selection was minimal. The one shining star was our server. She was engaging and responsive. I will not go back.
The chicken fried steak was cool when presented. The NY Strip sirloin was oversalted, hard to cut and even harder to chew. The over salting masked any flavor possible that could have been possible with a NY Strip Sirloin.
Great service, Riscky's defines the customer experience with "Customer Care." My wife and I were met with a smile, professional and well defined demeanor by a well dressed gentleman. As we made our reservations on OpenTable, the greeting was "Mr. and Mrs. Chase" welcome to Riscky's...
The food was terrific- Prime Rib prepared and presented on the plate with an exceptional taste, just the right temperature, the portions are large enough to share. We had the Apple Cobbler and Vanilla Ice cream for desert, an excellent topper for the meal. The bar service was exceptional, keeping pace with the Resturant side, the bar matron produced an excellent red wine for my wife, and margarita for my enjoyment.
Highly recommend Riscky's, go early and take in the Stockyards, and the Resturant itself with its themed dining rooms.

Amazing food! Great ambiance! Will def be back! Absolutely recommend the Bonnie & Clyde drink!!
Overall it was a nice restaurant. Food and service was just ok. No issues really with either one, I just expected more for the price. I have been to cheaper steakhouses with better quality food and service. Could have been an on off night, as this was the first time I had been.
Ate 4 bites into my steak and started feeling a little weird and sweating. Did not think much of it. On the way home had to pull over because everything was coming up. My friends wife had the same kind of steak I had and she too got sick so I knowing was the steak
We came to Texas for business but I also came in search of a good steak and boy did was I disappointed. Risckys was supposed to go. I ordered a 39 dollar 20 ounce T-Bone steak the way I like it, Rare - warm; a bit more rare than medium rare.
What came was a large flat T-bone maybe 2/5ths to a 1/4 inch thick, very thin and just an embarrassment to any place calling themselves a steak house. Very disappointed.
I hope my Texas wife forgives me but Texans have lost the art of cooking steak. I say this based on two other experiences I had on this trip.
Seriouly though, for a great Steak those folks in California serve up a tender mouthwatering "grass fed" piece of meat that I can't find in Texas.
