Great restaurant :)
I loved the Burrata And the fish
The Risotto is also good
Very nice stuff, the place was amazing.
food wasn't hot enough
service was below standard
tiramisu was good nonetheless
Excellent! Very well prepared dishes. Will definitely be returning!
A calm place in the city centre to relax and enjoy each other’s company, with delicious food and exemplary staff. Would recommend for date nights.
The restaurant is beautiful,lovely atmosphere.
The food was great especially the fresh pasta, excellent service, the staff was fantastic
Service was slow at the beginning (for this type of restaurants).
Food above average but not exceptional and not matching the price.
Nice ambience
I had a lovely birthday dinner with my family at Frescobaldi. The food was lovely and the service was very good. I would recommend to others. Thank you
pretty building。ok food。good wine
First I asked for a diary-free coffee alternative, they didn't have any.
They brought the latte we ordered in tea cups, because they were out of glasses at the moment, although there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant.
I asked for the wifi password, they said it didn't work due to maintenance.
Finally, my brother had the Uova al tartufo and found A PIECE OF PLASTIC in the food!
Fast food chains in London offer better service and food quality than this restaurant, complete disappointment!
Very expensive for what it offers; the food was not good; basic lazania with poor portion, appearance and quality, carpazzio beef with no roka nor parmezana, and some Tiny bad crab cakes, all these for 110 GBP. 2 glasses of house wine too.
Will not go again.
Dear Christos, We are sorry to hear that our food was not up to your expectations. Unfortunately we cannot explain your disappointment with our lasanha as we don't have it on the menu. The beef carpaccio dish description does not mention rocket nor Parmesan, ours is served with truffle and we regret to learn that is not up to your taste. We still look forward to welcoming you some other time soon as were about to change our menu for the new season. Warm regards, Management Team
I needed an Italian meal so I thought Frescobaldi would be the perfect choice... and it was!!
Dear guest, Thank you so much for your kind words, they truly mean a lot to us! Look forward to welcoming you again some other time soon, Warm regards, Management Team
Food was not good but the ambiance was really good
Wonderful place, but quite pricy. Great food though and very romantic atmosphere.
Dear dinner, We are very pleased to learn that you enjoyed your experience with us! Thank you kindly for your feedback. Best wishes, Management Team
First time I’ve been to the restaurant - great food. Attentive service. Were fully aware of gluten free requirement for my guest.
Amazing food ! Cooked to perfection. Favourite Italian place easily. Pricey but food justifies this.
Caters to large groups, not for tables of two.
Great dinner, very well served in a very beautiful space
Phenomenal. Amazing food, wonderful service, friendly and accommodating staff and a tiramisu to die for!
Perfect night. Beautiful place. Excellent food, wine and desserts!
Good place to eat.
High quality ( and priced to match) wine list.
Food very good with high quality ingredients and well executed
Quite noisy ( or was it just all the Americans?)
We heard about the venue from the winemakers themselves on the James Suckling MasterClass - we happened to be in London and booked it. We were intrigued by the flights and ordered one each. As avid Nipozzano drinkers it did not disappoint and we enjoyed having our own mini tasting experience and will now definitely be buying more of what we tried.
The overall ambience was romantic and whilst the dining experience was high class we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The combination was truly exquisite.
We ordered the mozzarella for two which is probably the best I’ve ever had, and I have travelled well around Italy. Followed by the ravioli and the white truffle taglioloni which lived up to our expectations and exceeded them. We ordered a Montesodi 2015 for these dishes, another high recommendation.
We finished with sea bass steaks - slightly disappointed they couldn’t offer al sale but it was just the right main for our meal. Portions were generous for the high standard of restaurant but our lighter choices meant we got to taste a lot and didn’t feel like we overate.
We had tiramisu and vin Santo Ice cream which was a divine end to our meal. We thank everyone for a wonderful experience and for making us feel ever so welcome and we will be recommending it to our friends!
Cute decor, service was friendly if slow even though it was very quiet. Went for brunch, it was quiet enough to have a conversation, but there was a table with two very loud children next to us. Another table also ordered a dish which must have been made from a very strong cheese as the smell lingered for a very long time and ruined the experience a little. Nonetheless nothing particularly bad to report.
Slow service, waiters would forget what we’d ask for so sometimes we’d have to ask more than once, incredibly expensive for the portion sizes
We let the restaurant know in advance it was a special occasion for us and they promised to make our visit very memorable. An hour into the booking they cleared the tables around us to make way for a party that evening. Really rubbish. Lots of disruption and “sorry, need to get ready for the party” response.
Amazing dining experience every time. Perfect food, service and ambience
Elegant yet relaxed. Delicious and definitely worth a return visit.
Ok so here goes...
-The guy bringing the bread around didn't know what they were. There was only 3 types!
-They took ages to bring the menus around and when they did they were just plonked on the table rather than handed to us. No care or welcoming nature.
- The guy taking the order was absurd! He tried his hardest to make us buy additional truffle. Then pushed and pushed us for a starter. We said no that many times and they still bought us one! We said we told him no and they continued to try and convince us we had ordered it!
- Items on the bill were charged more than the menu costs.
- The staff were arguing next to our table.
- We literally didn't feel comfortable sat having our meal.
- Some staff were working doubly hard to make up for the incompetence of others.
- They do the biggest Creme Brulee! 👌
Great decor, classy menu and an authentic Tuscan experience.
My daughter asked to return to the restaurant for her 24th birthday. We did so last year and it was a delightfully memorable experience when the waiters did their very best to make it special for her. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of this year when the service was poor. We felt neglected, we had to ask for my daughter's glass to be refilled a number of times and also had to ask for the pepper twice. Trivial perhaps but I was very surprised that it wasn't up the usual high Frescobaldi standard. We felt very flat when we left whereas we usually feel elated. Perhaps they were simply having an off day but it was disappointing.
The food was excellent though as was the ambiance and atmosphere.
A wonderful restuarant, with a romantic vibe. Delicious food too and excellent service. Definately one to visit again!!!!
The service was a little slow but other than that the food was delicious! the staff were very friendly and the christmas decoe was beautiful. Very relaxed vibe here and I will definitely be coming back!
Italy in London. Great wine selection; Frescobaldi. Fresh pasta was so delicious; Gnocchi. Wait staff very professional and attentive.
Lovely setting. Food very overpriced for what it is. Food was tasty though
Nice place
Absolutely amazing all the staff so polite and service was incredible, made my mum's surprise 60th very special sung happy birthday and wrote happy birthday on her plate highly recommend
Amazing experience, lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, excellent service
Welcoming place - highly recommended
Looking forward to be back soon
We went there for our wedding anniversary, despite the prime location and the fantastic ambience our experience at Frescobaldi hasn’t been memorable as expected.
We felt rushed during all dinner, while we were still eating one of our starter the mains arrived, and the waiter took away my wife’s plate without asking whether she had actually finished.
She asked to have the plate back to finish her starter;to make matter worse they placed our mains on the table while still finishing our starters. Also we felt like there was no one really caring about our table but only many characters acting in a automatic and confusing way.
I could expect this kind of service from a high street chain restaurant but not from such a high end restaurant like Frescobaldi.
Very good food, lovely setting and decoration as well!
