The food quality is very overpriced. I ordered breaded veal and the meat wasn’t fresh. My desert was tiramisu which should be star of the show in an expensive Italian restaurant however, it was very average tiramisu that you can find in an ordinary non Italian restaurant too!
The menu was a reasonably large selection of Tuscan dishes including lots of fresh pastas and meat dishes. We had ravioli and pappardelle and they were both great, but the outstanding dish was the octopus starter.
We really liked the food but found the service a little odd (e.g. we were seated with drinks menus but had to ask for the food ones) and the drinks over-priced.
Great experience as always. Very polite staff, great food and amazing wine selection.
Lovey location and decor. The staff didnt seem that friendly or welcoming, barey a smile amongst them. Sorry if you have to work on a Saturday night but raise your game, you are charging good money for patrons to dine in your establishment. Smile and be a little more welcoming!!
A charming ambience given that it is set in quite a modern building. The staff were very attentive and welcoming and the food was not only tasty but beautifully presented. I will certainly be going again.
Both my girlfriend and I had a lovely evening at Ristorante Frescobaldi. All the team were so friendly and really sweet. Food was beautiful and the atmosphere was amazing. We will certainly be returning once more. Point for improvement, It was our anniversary and this was mentioned during the booking with Open Table. The restaurant did not mention anything which was not an issue but it would have made my girlfriend feel a bit special.
A nice restaurant, with good food, but whilst chatting with a colleague, without warning the lunch time menu was swiped away at 3pm on the dot. Only to be told that we now had to order off the A la carte menu, a bit harsh when we had been there ½ hour – be warned.

Went there with my girlfriend for our anniversary dinner. She lived the ambience of the room and the service was impeccable. Everything felt authentic. I absolutely had an amazing evening. It's a bit pricey but it's good value for money.

Lovely atmosphere and good food. A bit let down by the service.

We'll be working harder to improve the service, let us know if you have any suggestions. Look forward to welcoming you some other time soon! Warm regards, Frescobaldi Team
We absolutely loved it, staff and food was fantastic and entire experience was world class, we will definitely be back 😀
Dear Melissa, We kindly thank you for your heart warming words, it does mean a lot to us! Look forward to welcoming you back, Kindest Regards, Frescobaldi Team
The exciting interior decorated with extraordinary figures and the names of frescobaldi wines contrasts starkly with the dreary buildings where it is housed. The cooking was sublime, innovative and delicious, service excellent though there were not many customers and the wine list of course extraordinary! The bill was also impressive but the experience justified it.
Dear Mr Gates, Thank you very much for your lovely review, we are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Frescobaldi experience this much! Look forward to welcoming you back, perhaps at dinner so you can feel that charming and romantic atmosphere! Kindest Regards, Frescobaldi Team
Went for a meal with friends on Saturday, we all had a fantastic night food and service great!
Beautiful restaurant. Delicious food. Ideal for a special occasion.
We enjoyed an early evening meal at this beautiful restaurant tucked away in a side street just off Regent Street. It is perfectly placed for such an occasion with easy access to all public transport routes. The food is some of the best Italian food that I have eaten in London with portions just the right measure to provide fulfillment at each course. My wife had the crunchy sourdough crostini with traditional Tuscan chicken liver patè flavoured with Vinsanto 40 Altari and I chose the crispy courgette flowers filled with Ricotta and fresh herbs and both dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. For main course we both chose fresh pasta dishes, hers being the hand made ravioli filled with Bufala burrata, fresh tomato and basil sauce and mine the truly delicious hand-cut pappardelle with fresh Morel mushrooms and beef cheek sauce. We shared the Pesca al forno which was a cooked peach in suavitatis wine served with amaretti shavings and mascarpone ice cream - truly excellent. The only downside of the evening was that the service was somewhat slow which was disappointing given that for most of the time there was only one other couple and us in the restaurant. However, that will not stop me from going again and recommending the venue with confidence.
Worst restaurant from my Trip to London.
It was a real disaster, espescially the service from the woman with red hair.
she was very disrespectul towards us and other customers.
Also, the food wasn’t that good and the portions were too small.
that’s a shame because the place was nicely decorated.
we absolutely don’t recommend it.
Loved Frescobaldi! Have been to their restaurant in Florence and loved it there too. The outdoor area in the London location was perfect for a hot day in London. And because it’s not on a main road you can easily enjoy an Aperol Spritz without car exhaust fumes! Service was so lovely - wish I remembered our waiters name, but he was brilliant with my two children, who have said it’s their new fave London restaurant. And that was before they were brought the sweet jars!
An amazing culinary treat with the best service in London.
Service and wine were good, the food only average. Restaurant was busy but not full. Would suggest the draw here is the wine from the family estate. Other better restaurants nearby
Wonderful service, food, ambiance and they made mine and my sister's birthday a very special occasion!
GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH & DINNER, VERY COZY AND RELAXED ATMOSPHERE.
Very very good environment
The starter was good but the main was all right.
At the beginning they kept bugging us with water , 3 member staffs kept approaching so we decided to say yes and go ahead. They didn’t give the menu right when we got our table. They halfed our mains when I didn’t understand what they meant by sharing instead they half our pasta in one plate and the portion was small. seems like they forgot our fish later on while we ask them. The sea bass was dry and over cooked with burnt sides.. came late as well... I think this is a good Italian restaurant but they need to rethink how they treat their customers.. over all at the end the waitress donatella was sweet and apologise to us and resolve the problem. Sweet at the end but they need to think about treating customers right at the beginning with warmth and good service.
The service was awful here. The waitress was inhospitable and rude. The dessert fork was even threw in front of me. Definitely won’t come any more.
Nice ambiance though massive confusion about bringing the appetizers out and they forgot our friends meal so we sat there for 15 minutes waiting whilst our food became cold. Disappointing given the potential of the restaurant- not sure why the ordering was messed up.
Standards have slipped. Portions smaller. Didn’t screaming babies being breastfed at the table next to us!
I have been several times and I was disappointed in the marked deterioration in quality and presentation of food which had previously been excellent. My appetiser of burrita was awash with soggy tomato and limp lettuce and the main of John Dory tasted ok but nothing special and was presented in a very messy and unappetising paper wrapping. Very disappointing. Wines were perfect and service attentive and good
The food and service were below average, especially given the price.
it took nearly 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive and we only ordered prosecco.
It was our first visit and we were not disappointed . It looks trendy and rustic Italian at the same time. The menu suited us perfectly , sufficient choice and interest. Amazing wine list. e w The staff were efficient and friendly. Overall a most pleasurable experience. We will come again.
After just returning from Sardinia and still wanting some good Italian Cuisine we headed to Frescobaldi Restaurant... the truffle pasta was such a huge let down !! the wines were good enough but you will need to sift through the expensive imitations to get that real gem. (i won't quote mine as everyone's taste is so different)
One of my favourite restaurants in london - food, service and ambiance all great.
Thank you for the warm welcome and friendly and efficient service. The food and drink were out of this world. The setting was idyllic.
had dinner 2 nights earlier and went back. Just as delicious. The service, food, atmosphere, quantity, price . . .all very good.
Great food and ambiance
Fantastic. Wine, Food, Service, Atmosphere. Everything Perfect.
Great evening here! A lovely warm evening and the front of the restaurant was open - perfect. Delicious food and wine, welcoming helpful service and lively ambience. Can’t wait to go back!
The setting and the food/drink was brilliant at the restaurant however the service was far from what I was expecting at such a high-end restaurant. In such a competitive restaurant area such as Mayfair you would think that they would have the basics down to a tee but there were numerous instances where they lacked the simple things. Little things such as giving us menus straight away, taking our food order before our drinks, starters arriving before our drinks just to name a few. Apart from one waiter (Raz, who started his shift at the end of our meal), all the other staff lacked any sort of personality and didn't seem like they wanted to be there which put a downer on our night. I asked for the bill and it had service charge included so I got them to remove it as they definitely did not deserve it. As I said the food and setting was great but it was such a shame that the staff could not maintain the same levels as other parts of the meal, it definitely left a sour taste in our mouths.
Excellent dining experience as always
Beautiful place but slow service on this Sunday evening and rather bland dishes.
